I would give it zero stars if that were an option. The fact that there were almost no cars in the parking lot and only 3 tables occupied at noon on a weekday made me want to turn around and go to one of the many TERRIFIC diners in the area. (We soon learned that this is not one of them.) But we had an appointment to go to after our meal and did not have the luxury of time. It was our first time here. We are big on diners and frequent a couple of them. This one is once and done. My dining companion enjoyed her omelette. My eggs Florentine were horrendous. I suspect that this may be the very first time this chef ever made them. It certainly should be his last. I should have taken a photo when it came, to post here. What I really should have done is sent it back. But, again, we had time constraints. The "hollandaise sauce' was disgusting. It was bright yellow coagulated "stuff." Unlike any hollandaise sauce I've ever previously experienced, both in look and taste. THERE WAS ZERO TASTE. I thought I was cutting into a tomato and it was CANADIAN BACON, which is NOT supposed to be on Eggs Florentine. The menu never stated it would be there, and I have ordered Eggs Florentine many places and never have had this. I do not eat Canadian bacon and took it off...thankful that I was not allergic to it. The yolk on Eggs Florentine is NOT to be hard. That is part of what defines this type of meal. These were not 100% hard but they were no longer runny, the way they should be. They were maybe 90% on the hard side instead of 0%. Absolutely RIDICULOUS. Our very nice server asked me how my meal was. I asked him if he wanted me to be honest. He said yes. So I was. He asked if I wanted a different meal. At that point I had eaten part of the meal and we also had the appointment to get to, so I said no thank you. He asked me to tell the cashier as well; she did not seem to care one iota. If I had experienced a better meal and/or better customer service, perhaps I might have tried this diner a second time--maybe for an omelette, like my dining companion's. But not only will I not return, but also I will tell my large, extended family not to try this diner, EVER. If you are wondering if they wrote off any of the check, or somehow comped us otherwise, the answer is NO. $14 for the worst breakfast meal I ever have experienced. read more

My husband and I like Breaktime Restaurant! For our main entrees, he had scallops and I had shepherd's pie. He has had scallops in fancier restaurants that he did not like as much as those at break time. Both our entrees and sides were generous portions, and we enjoyed all of them. I can't praise this restaurant enough. We go there frequently and every time we go the food is delicious and the service is excellent! We were there tonight and both had the lobster tail special which was great! I love their Greek Salad and cornbread. They have a wide variety of menu choices, plenty of which are really healthy including a number of fish and seafood choices. We also enjoy their breakfasts. Another plus is that their prices are extremely reasonable and portions are good. Definitely a favorite place to go! read more

thought I would try the new diner for breakfast and was very disappointed. Service was extremely slow, although waitress was very nice. Our meals did not come out together, my juice cup was chipped all around the edges, you couldn't drink out of the cup. Quality of food mediocre at best; pork roll had no taste, ham was slimy. And their prices extremely high. They charge $4.50 for 3 pieces of pork roll, more than if you bought an 8 slice at the store. Decor old and needs updating. Looks like new owners just came in and took over what was left from Country Diner. Will not go back, will continue to patronize Warminster West & Eagle Diners. read more

i was pleasantly surprised at this place. i've driven by here tons of times but never went in till this new ownership took over. my wife ordered tilapia it came with real mashed potatoes and nicely done green beans. i ordered manicotti with meatballs and honestly it was as good if not better than my local italian restaurant. the portions were huge. the service was really good everything came out quick and hot. will be going back soon read more

We've ordered probably 4 times for takeout. No issues. Googled the other day for the menu, had to find it on Facebook. While on Google found the health dept dinged them for dead vermin and vermin poo. (This was in June) Thought mistakes happen. They said the back door was open which is a no no! Stopped in on a late busy Sunday morning. Got seated immediately and they made accommodations for our baby. Full menu with many options. Very reasonably priced. Service was fast and friendly and our food was delicious. I got a fried chicken basket and my fiancé got a club sandwich. No complaints at all. Definitely check this diner out. We were there wk of 10/14. It was our first time. The diner was extremely clean and most important the food was great. I had the broiled flounder and my husband the hot open turkey sandwich. Need to replace cook because he has no idea how to make a simple breakfast order. I ordered 2 completely different omelettes and some how got one big giant omelette all mixed together. Bacon was not well done like I requested. We were told the reason the bacon was not crispy was because the eggs make it soft when they are mixed in. Completely clueless about making good food. Great local diner. Awesome specials all the time. I really like their soups. From chicken rice to lentil to vegetable, the soups aren't too salty nor bland; they have really good flavor. Rubbery Pancakes AGAIN! If you put food in Styrofoam, or other nonporous containers, the heat coming off the food cannot radiate outside of the container thus leaving it rubbery and/or soggy. The broiled flounder was overcooked while the stuffing was completely tasteless. The 2 vegetable sides tasted like a boxed mashed potatoes and canned corn, both tasted tasted horrible. The Greek salad came without dressing on it and the chunks of Feta are long expired judging from the taste! The Texas Tower burger was overcooked. I asked for Medium and it was more than well done. The bacon was rubbery and the onion rings were tasteless and had a soggy overly oily texture. Again this is mostly caused to your poor choice in packaging materials. Also it would have been nice to know that the burgers came with French fries bc otherwise I would not have ordered the additional side of fries. This is not communicated on the menu well at all! The mozzarella sticks were delicious only I wish I had actually gotten the full order. I got 3 of them with half an order of French fries. The industry standard is 5-8 mozzarella sticks per order. and at $5.99 for only 3 that's robbery! it seems like you didn't have enough to make a complete order so you decided to split the difference with Fries ... you should definitely ask the customer if that is OK before just doing it. Also the juice we ordered came in a half filled Styrofoam cup. The only thing we enjoyed was the soup, the incomplete mozzarela stick order, and 1 out of the 2 scoops of ice cream. This is the second and last time I will ever be ordering from here again. You're not even good enough to be called diner food. Even a quality diner can put out food that is at least edible. read more
