We really love this place kind of tucked away between Jefferson and Larned - but you need to enter the parking lot via Larned! I was looking for healthier options around Detroit to hit with my friend after our yoga class - stumbled upon Breadless! This place is trendy, while reasonably priced. I was ecstatic to see there was a full parking lot - that's hard to find around Detroit! Also, there's a cute coffee/wine bar next door, making this an up and coming area to have a casual date! The menu looked like it had a solid set of breadless sandwiches and bowls. Although, what brought us in truly were the sandwiches. I got the Chardi B - it was flavorful and the ingredients all powered through well despite this being an untraditional sandwich. My friend got the Cloud 9 - they loved the sauce and the crunch of the sandwich, but wished there was a little more pastrami. Overall, we'd both order both of these sandwiches again! I had the privilege of visiting this establishment while I was in town for the Detroit Free Press Marathon and this food was absolutely amazing. I got a chance to not only meet the co-owner who was very down to earth and big on doing his part in the Detroit Community. I don't eat as healthy as I should but I'm getting better and if I lived in Detroit this place would get all my money because I would be there all the time. Something cool about this spot is that it's across the street from the apartment building from the hit sitcom "Martin". I tried the Garden of Eatin' sandwich which tasted very fresh and I'm obsessed with the pesto they used because it really packed in the flavor. The only downside is the portion is pretty small. If I were to return I'd try another option because those sandwiches looked a little more substantial. In addition I tried the pomegranate green tea which I don't think it really tasted much like pomegranate but whatever the flavor actually is is still delicious.
