Solid sandwich and friendly staff. I really liked the hummus and ciabatta bread. Did not disappoint, and was a fresh lunch. They have a restroom for customers and cute seating outside.

Great sandwich with fresh, quality bread and excellent customer service. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They also have nice outdoor seating. Overall, a great place to grab a sandwich!

First time trying Breadlam and it was fantastic. The ingredients are all very fresh including the bread. I ordered a vegan sandwich with hummus/chickpeas. It was very flavorful and tasty. Customer service was great. We were greeted once we entered. I was also told what sandwich the vegan customers like the most. The restaurant has outside seating and street parking. I will definitely be back.

Quick service and fresh ingredients with a good variety in the menu. They also have a few daily specials as well. Ordered the Raymond, which is a Turkey sandwich on ciabatta bread - the bread was very soft and the sandwich good. Seating available is both indoors and along the sidewalk. Street parking is always a chore in the Arts District unfortunately.

I live close by and never knew that this was located here since it closes at 4PM. I'm sure I'm not the only one that missed it walking by! Their menu is not extensive, and I was recommended to try the 5th Avenue which comes with prosciutto. You get to choose the bread to go with (ciabatta, baguette, multigrain). I went with the ciabatta, and it was okay. I wish they had toasted the bread, or at least offered the option. The prosciutto was not bad, but I wish there was more of it or a bit less on the other toppings to not overpower the prosciutto taste. Wasn't a fan of the Raymond... Turkey tends to be on the dry side, so that was on me for ordering it. The roasted tomatoes were very nice though. The sandwiches do come with pickles on the side! Parking is tough in the area. Good luck with street parking, paid lots is probably the best way to go.

Stopped by for lunch on a weekday. Service was quick and the guy helping us was great. Got the York and Colorado. There are places to sit inside and outside the sandwich shop and the ambiance is simple yet quirky/cute. Both sandwiches tasted super fresh with crunchy/soft bread. The only negative is that I felt like the York was way too saucy, making the sauce overpower all the other ingredients.

Does Breadlam allow doggos? Yes, they have a small but cute outdoor area. I remember Breadlam's early days in 2019 when it was a one-man show led by Tommy, the owner. I'm thrilled to see the place not only survive the pandemic but thrive. Tommy's remarkable creations and welcoming attitude truly deserve the success. The consistent quality and flavor since its opening make it my favorite neighborhood sandwich shop. My personal favorites are: Raymond, Cabrillo, and Mt. Vernon. The airy ciabatta and all the ingredients make for a delightful combination. I love the simplicity of all of their sandwiches. I also enjoy trying their daily specials, such as Winter in Paris. You can turn any of their sandwiches into a salad. They also make charcuterie boards. They used to only have outdoor seating in front of the shop. Now they have expanded and have tables indoor, as well. Overall, I highly recommend Breadlam for a quick bite or casual eats.

This is my first time eating here. I love a good sandwich. This sandwich was... fine. I'm not a fan of chewy bread. If you are, that's fine. That's not my thing. I ordered The Ridge which contains ROASTED TURKEY, AGED CHEDDAR, AVOCADO, OLIVE OIL, GREENS. Also comes with a side of those small cornichons. Overall, the sandwich was okay. The cheddar was way overpowering and couldn't really taste the turkey which didn't really have much flavor in the first place. Guac is guac, but it also causes the sandwich to become a slippery mess. One bite and the inside spills out the back as is common. Again, the bread, while it was delicious, is also chewy which is a big turnoff on deli sandwiches for me. Could have been better. Maybe I tried the wrong thing, but this didn't work out for me.

This sandwich place is unreal. It took me by surprise how amazing their sandwiches are. The ingredients are high quality and fresh. The combination of ingredients is carefully created and tastes amazing! I can't compare it to any other sandwich spot because it doesn't compare. I tried the 5h Avenue sandwich and the Raymond sandwich. Both were served on fresh soft chibatta bread. Both sandwiches had amazing flavor! I would get either of them again. The 5th Avenue sandwich had awesome basil flavor with a thick piece of aged Gouda cheese. All sandwiches are $12. They sell until sold out so you have to get there earlier in the day before they are gone. I loved these sandwiches so much! I look forward to visiting Breadlam again!

The picture of the grilled cheese speaks for itself, I just want people see it before they make their decision to order it. They changed their menu so I miss the old sandwiches I used to order.

This is a small little sandwich restaurant in the arts district. They have great sandwich options including vegetarian. They make the sandwich bread in house (ciabatta). They give you small pickles (Gherkins) which are very tasty. They told me they do run out of bread so they close down when they do. So I recommend to show up early or you will miss out. Good thing is they are open 7 days a week.

Maybe that had something to do with it. Nevertheless, I liked it. I love a simple but flavorful French baguette sandwich and this was a good one with 3 quality ingredients plus the bread. listen to the reviews if you care about customer service!…read more AMBIANCE: place is small with some bar chairs indoors and some small tables outdoors. definitely ideal for takeout rather than dine in. SERVICE: i came in a bit before 5pm and the place was open but totally empty. no workers in sight, so i just put in my order on the kiosk. i expected some kind of notification for someone working but the receipt just printed and still nobody came out. worried my 15 minutes of free parking was going to end before i got my food i yelled out "excuse me!" and finally an girl comes out of the back. doesn't say a word or acknowledge me at all, so i start to offer a sorry and explain that i just wanted to make sure someone was there, but quickly realize im going to be ignored. when she's done, she plops my bag of my food on the table, says "here you go" and walks into the back again. FOOD: drove to where i was staying a few minutes away and i was surprised to find out it was completely cold. please correct me if im wrong but i had assumed at least the bread would be warm?? it was fine since i was able to stick it in the toaster for a bit and it ended up being pretty good! overall a fairly (for LA) priced lunch. BACK TO SERVCE: however based on my experience and the other recent reviews i truly don't understand what is going on with the people who work here. is everyone okay???? atp im truly concerned as to why all the workers seem to be miserable... its also an insane contrast in attitude from the parking attendant who was working outside. he was the nicest guy ever and i truly think the owner of this place should consider hiring him instead. i guarantee it would make a huge difference.
