Quick service and fresh ingredients with a good variety in the menu. They also have a few daily specials as well. Ordered the Raymond, which is a Turkey sandwich on ciabatta bread - the bread was very soft and the sandwich good. Seating available is both indoors and along the sidewalk. Street parking is always a chore in the Arts District unfortunately.

Stopped by for lunch on a weekday. Service was quick and the guy helping us was great. Got the York and Colorado. There are places to sit inside and outside the sandwich shop and the ambiance is simple yet quirky/cute. Both sandwiches tasted super fresh with crunchy/soft bread. The only negative is that I felt like the York was way too saucy, making the sauce overpower all the other ingredients.

I live close by and never knew that this was located here since it closes at 4PM. I'm sure I'm not the only one that missed it walking by! Their menu is not extensive, and I was recommended to try the 5th Avenue which comes with prosciutto. You get to choose the bread to go with (ciabatta, baguette, multigrain). I went with the ciabatta, and it was okay. I wish they had toasted the bread, or at least offered the option. The prosciutto was not bad, but I wish there was more of it or a bit less on the other toppings to not overpower the prosciutto taste. Wasn't a fan of the Raymond... Turkey tends to be on the dry side, so that was on me for ordering it. The roasted tomatoes were very nice though. The sandwiches do come with pickles on the side! Parking is tough in the area. Good luck with street parking, paid lots is probably the best way to go.

Does Breadlam allow doggos? Yes, they have a small but cute outdoor area. I remember Breadlam's early days in 2019 when it was a one-man show led by Tommy, the owner. I'm thrilled to see the place not only survive the pandemic but thrive. Tommy's remarkable creations and welcoming attitude truly deserve the success. The consistent quality and flavor since its opening make it my favorite neighborhood sandwich shop. My personal favorites are: Raymond, Cabrillo, and Mt. Vernon. The airy ciabatta and all the ingredients make for a delightful combination. I love the simplicity of all of their sandwiches. I also enjoy trying their daily specials, such as Winter in Paris. You can turn any of their sandwiches into a salad. They also make charcuterie boards. They used to only have outdoor seating in front of the shop. Now they have expanded and have tables indoor, as well. Overall, I highly recommend Breadlam for a quick bite or casual eats.

The picture of the grilled cheese speaks for itself, I just want people see it before they make their decision to order it. They changed their menu so I miss the old sandwiches I used to order.

This is my first time eating here. I love a good sandwich. This sandwich was... fine. I'm not a fan of chewy bread. If you are, that's fine. That's not my thing. I ordered The Ridge which contains ROASTED TURKEY, AGED CHEDDAR, AVOCADO, OLIVE OIL, GREENS. Also comes with a side of those small cornichons. Overall, the sandwich was okay. The cheddar was way overpowering and couldn't really taste the turkey which didn't really have much flavor in the first place. Guac is guac, but it also causes the sandwich to become a slippery mess. One bite and the inside spills out the back as is common. Again, the bread, while it was delicious, is also chewy which is a big turnoff on deli sandwiches for me. Could have been better. Maybe I tried the wrong thing, but this didn't work out for me.

This sandwich place is unreal. It took me by surprise how amazing their sandwiches are. The ingredients are high quality and fresh. The combination of ingredients is carefully created and tastes amazing! I can't compare it to any other sandwich spot because it doesn't compare. I tried the 5h Avenue sandwich and the Raymond sandwich. Both were served on fresh soft chibatta bread. Both sandwiches had amazing flavor! I would get either of them again. The 5th Avenue sandwich had awesome basil flavor with a thick piece of aged Gouda cheese. All sandwiches are $12. They sell until sold out so you have to get there earlier in the day before they are gone. I loved these sandwiches so much! I look forward to visiting Breadlam again!

I've had many tuna sandwiches in my day. I'd consider myself a connoisseur even. When I say this has been one of my favorite tuna sandwiches, I am committing to the truth of that, and am willing to die on this hill. Please eat this sandwich. Please. The wasabi mayo is so good.

Can I just say... I love you guys so much . Every sandwich here is like a journey to another dimension of flavor. I really appreciate the unique combinations--it's next level!

This is a small little sandwich restaurant in the arts district. They have great sandwich options including vegetarian. They make the sandwich bread in house (ciabatta). They give you small pickles (Gherkins) which are very tasty. They told me they do run out of bread so they close down when they do. So I recommend to show up early or you will miss out. Good thing is they are open 7 days a week.

Recently I have been coming here like almost once a week. Their meat and bread quality is good. And the portion is big. These sandwiches will definitely fill you up. My favorite Sandwich is Geary. It has truffle mousse pate and prosciutto. The mousse was smooth and not heavy. Prosciutto was not too salty . My second choice of sandwich is the Raymond. It comes with Roasted Turkey. The Turkey was good, moist not dry. It also has tomato mayo and roasted tomato which level up the deliciousness very well. I'm a healthier bread fan. So I always get my sandwich with multi grain bread. It's texture is good..soft and bouncy. There are special sandwiches of the day. If you wanna be special, check the special menu before order. It is always special yummy. Employees/owner are so nice and friendly. Good service even though it is self service! You can order thru their website and come pick it up. This place is really a small pick up place and they have about 3 or 4 tables outside to sit....so don't bring a giant party here...lol. Giant order for take out is fine...haha Oh...I saw some people comparing this place to Bread Lounge. Honestly, they're different. Of course , it's a given Bread Lounge will have stellar bread....and they do!! But their sandwiches have been a little inconsistent lately...and I'm liking Breadlam better ....at any rate...why not have 2 choices for good sandwiches..no need to pick just one. Street Parking only.. any credit card accepted!

Stopped in on a whim. Very simple menu. Asked the guy working for his recommendation and ordered the roast beef. It was so good. It wasn't oily or goopy with tons of olive oil or horseradish sauce. It was so fresh and light. I will be definitely coming back. Great place if you are just looking for something lite and simple.

This larger space now serves as a cheese shop, upscale market and fast-casual eatery. I came here for lunch after walking through GCM and not feeling inspired. They still offer a large case of cheeses from around the world, which can be purchased by weight. I think a large part of their business is creating made-to-order charcuterie platters and boards of cheeses and meats. In their deli case, they have grab and go plates of 3 cheeses (meat optional), pickles and dried fruit. The gourmet market also offers fresh produce, specialty items like premium butters, Rancho Gordo beans, house made items like chicken stock, pickles, etc, and meats. Plus fresh juices and lemonade and canned/bottled drinks. I came for the eatery. They offer cold sandwiches and breads, plus made to order hot sandwiches. They have an attractive Sunday Brunch menu also. I went with the ham melt, which is their OG grilled cheese with ham added. I also ordered their "Always Creamy Tomato Soup", both to go. The soup was delish. It came with garlicky croutons which alas were soggy by the time I ate them. The sandwich was excellent. It had 3 different cheeses, ham, and caramelized onions on brioche. It was grilled to perfection with a substantial cheese skirt, and came with pickles and whole grain mustard. A very tasty lunch and a nice alternative to GCM. They had a fair amount of seating if you decide to eat in. I'd definitely shop their market more extensively next time, and would like to try their brunch someday. They also have a wine/champagne/tinned fish bar next door called Kippered, that was packed when I walked by in the evening.

And used the Order on Line feature to place my order for pick up. I was feeling adventurous and veered from my usual Burrata Salad and ordered the Truffle Parma Burrata Sandwich (panino) and headed over for pick up. I remembered why I don't stop by as often as I'd like, the parking lot is awkward, despite the kind and attentive parking lot attendant. Squeezed into a compact spot that had an over sized truck next to me that made for maneuvering in and out of my compact vehicle a bit ridiculous. Walked in, picked up my sandwich and headed back to work to enjoy it. Now I'm in no way complaining, but this sandwich is exactly what it says it is, fresh ciabatta bread, fresh burrata cheese (yum), prosciutto, caramelized onions (perfection) and truffle cream sauce. Everything delicious but the truffle cream is pretty potent, be aware. Maybe they went a bit heavy on the Truffle Cream sauce but it was just too rich & potent for me today. (I ended up just scraping the burrata cheese off and eating that alone instead of the second half of the sandwich, and yes I'm a truffle fan). Will I be back, absolutely! Would I order this particular sandwich again, no. The Burrata House is pretty small, so just a small wall counter and bar stools inside to eat and a few tables outside to enjoy your meal.

My first visit was a few months ago, and I felt like I was bothering our server for water refills, napkins and other things. It was a Saturday night and while it was not packed, it took about an hour to get 2 panini's. Went today for my birthday, and my adult son told the server that the three of us were sitting on patio. Server shows up with 2 menus and 2 glasses for water. Sees me and scolds my son for not telling her that there was a third person. She brings a 3rd glass but never a 3rd menu. I specifically mention that we are here for happy hour specials. There is only 1 other table occupied, otherwise it's empty. We wait over 20 minutes to place our order. 1 personal board supposed to be $10. Plus (2) panini's. Wait another 30+ minutes... get our food and that's it. No check in - no water refills. My son goes and gets the server for a box and to order another personal board. We wait another long period to get it. I go inside to taste some cheese. We add on something to our bill. It was $104... I do some quick math and assume the price is because of the cheese I added to the bill. I add a tip on the lowish side, because we didn't really get any "service" to be worth the $18 I added onto it. I get home to review the receipt... and was charged $20 for the personal boards + the add ons... I am so let down. I spent $130 and didn't get awesome service or the happy hour discount. I was expecting to pay $50-$60 ish, and this caught me off guard. I have learned my lesson and won't be going back.
