I wish they would change the name and not affiliate themselves with a truly wonderful bake shop. However, we do have family that lives within walking distance to the Marietta location. So needless to say, we always get some pie before heading home. I love the fact that they now offer ordering of slices and half/half pies, in addition to their full pies online. This time, I ordered two slices of four flavors. I asked if they would accommodate putting them in a leftover pie tin for easy travel, and they kindly did. The pies made it safely back to Charlotte! What we got: *Brown Sugar- this has always been our favorite, and still is. I now realize we just need a full pie of this each time! *Peanut Butter - nice creamy pb pie with whipped topping and a hint of chocolate flavor. *Smores - I can't decide whether I like this straight from the fridge or warmed up better. It is good both ways, but warmed up you get that traditional smores melted gooey flavor. *Peach - this was our first time trying the peach. I love fresh peaches, so I was excited to get to try it! It was peachy with a strong cinnamon flavor with the crumbles on top. Loved it warmed up with a little ice cream. Highly recommend Pie Bar if you are in the area. Service is always friendly and pies have been consistent all these years. Such an amazing small business to support! If they ever try shipping, I'll be the first online to support! For now, I'll be dreaming about the next time I get to have their pies!

Spent the week in Acworth, GA while my son played baseball at LakePoint Sports and this was our…read morefavorite restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I went in thinking this was just a chain and the quality would be roughly the same as a fast food chain. Boy, was I wrong. The sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit was fantastic. Honestly, I should have ordered two and skipped the cheesy grits. The biscuit was warm but held up. The sausage was flavorful, and the egg was cooked to perfection. You order at the counter, and they bring your food out, so there is not a lot of interaction with the staff. That said, the cashier was friendly, and the chef came out at some point to talk baseball with my son. Not the cheapest meal, but I happily paid a little more for this than something from McDonald's. On a scale of 1-5: Food - 5 Service - 5 Price - 4

We tried the Biscuit Belly in Acworth for breakfast today. I had never heard of this spot but…read moreapparently it is a chain with other locations out of state. We just saw it driving by and were hungry for breakfast. Price shock hit me. Yelp said $10-$20 per person and it was every bit of that and more for two breakfasts and two coffees. I guess that's not too much for a treat but I certainly couldn't afford that for breakfast on a regular basis. They were packed which was a good sign but the restaurant was chaotic. When you go in you get in line and order at the counter. Then they bring the food out. You can pick up a menu to look at while you wait in line. Service took a while but it was made to order and they were crowded. I got biscuits and sausage gravy and added eggs and a cinnamocha coffee. My wife got the avocado toastie with a praline mocha. The biscuits were ok. Not as good as what I make at home but not bad for store bought. A bit heavy not light or fluffy. But ok. At home I would have split my biscuit in half and put gravy on it open faced. They just pour gravy over the top. Not bad but changes the ratio of gravy to biscuit. The gravy is good. Not as good as what I make at home but good. Has a smokey hint that was different but really good. The avocado toast was good with a sunny side up egg that was cooked perfectly. Overall I can't go over 4 with the price. The food was good but not great. I am leaning more towards 3 stars than 4 but I will go 4 as the coffees were excellent.

I will say it was very very cute and the decor was spot on for a spinoff from Chick-fil-A. Salem was very knowledgeable of the menu. She even helped me place my order for my drink and recommended the chocolate pull apart pastry for me. I enjoyed my iced pistachio latte with salted honey cold foam which was an extra dollar. The chocolate pull apart dessert was not good to me. They warmed it and it was just ok. Thanks to Salem and the staff at Daybright. I will come back, but I will try something else on the menu for sure. Thanks!
