Disclaimer: This review is based on the fact that I like real fruit smoothies. I found this lil shop via yelp driving into work one morning. The inside was very nice, clean, and inviting. There is a TON of selections to choose from with some sounding beyond yummy. Customer service....absolutely fantastic. The girl working the counter was sweet, friendly and informative. The concept is actually pretty cool too. The idea is that you jump start with a green tea which is included as part of your smoothie purchase. Now I'm not a green tea person but I still thought it was interestingly different than other smoothie shops. So why the 3 stars you ask? Well I stopped for a smoothie, not a protein shake. I saw my smoothie being made which was some tropical fruit berry blend. I saw a bunch of water and powders added, then 2 frozen strawberries and a tiny scoop of crushed pineapple. More powders, creams, ice, whatever. Sorry...but I need a lil (actually a lot) more fruit than that. (I'm not exaggerating by the way). The price was slightly higher than a normal smoothie spot (probably because of the green tea). I would go back and try their milkshakes however. There was a Cap'n Crunch milkshake (whaaaaaaaaaaat?!) Discovered this place after working out at the gym, because what's better than a smoothie after working out but not wanting to spend any money at the smoothie stores inside of LA Fitness. Well this is what you do. If you're lazy like me you get in your car and go a few stores down. It's walking distance from LA fitness, but this is kennesaw no one walks around here. The inside of this place feels like someone's living room. Which to me is pretty cool. There's like a "living room" area with couch, coffee table, and a TV. Another couch off to the side. A few small tables and chairs. Most people sit at the counter and socialize with the workers and with customers. It seems like Most the workers are college girls and they're very friendly. Also the owner is extremely nice and will be the first one to start a conversation. (She also brings in her cute baby all the time) The smoothies are a mix of fresh fruits and Herbalife powder. Some may like it. Some may not. Some flavors are a tad chalky, but honestly I really enjoy that slightly chalky taste sometimes rather than that "too much sugar for a smoothie; this might as well be a milkshake" taste and that watery extremely acidic taste. I ALWAYS get the coconut lime flavor. It delicious and it has coconut flakes in it to give it some texture. Owner told me not a lot of people like that flavor and I appreciate the honesty but I think it's amazing. You also get to pick an iced tea before your smoothie. Not sure why I just go along with it and pick any flavor. The price of these smoothies are around 6-7$ but you get a discount if you're a KSU student. Kinda expensive still but honestly if you're a person who buys cold pressed juice this shouldn't be much of a problem. read more

I would go here on my lunch break..Lee, the owner is very nice and friendly. She is very knowledgable on her products. I originally found this place from a yelp search as I was looking for a fruit smoothie type place near by. However, it's more like a protein shop place. You first purchase a tea and there is a (alka seltzer) type thing you drop in it for a pick up sorta. It helped me at least I felt like it did. Downside is that I am really not sure what I was drinking and I pay attention to what I am putting in my body these days. There are many different flavors to choose from as you will see on the board that she has up for you to choose from. My favorite flavors were an oreo cheesecake and cookie dough one. I came in here today expecting something a lot like the big chain smoothie locations and was pleasantly surprised to find something a little different. I will agree with the other reviews, that it is definitely more of a protein shake type deal, versus a fruit smoothie. However, their selection is fabulous and the Chocolate Peanut M&M (the flavor I chose) tasted exactly like a peanut m&m, and it did not have that chalky taste so many other protein shakes have. Awesome experience! We were looking for a smoothie type place during lunch because we didn't want anything too heavy. We stopped by and was really surprised by the different choices plus the additional option of tea. We ended up having the "Lift Off" added to our tea in hopes of keeping us away for the last 4 hours of lecture and it worked! In addition to the staff and customers being extremely friendly, we were able to sample our flavors prior too. I WILL be back! Oh, and everything offered were Herbelife products which is a pretty interesting concept but a great meal replacement option. I wondered about Herbalife and was finally able to sample it. FANTASTIC!! Such a friendly staff. All drinks are 20g of protein and under 250 calories! Don't expect a fruit smoothie like at Smoothie King or Jamba Juice, these shakes are for meal replacement, so there's protein powders. I got piña colada and it had real chunks of frozen pineapple, so I guess it depends on your flavor! You get your cup plus a small "shot cup" of it. I've been a customer of Smoothie King for 18 years and have become accustomed to bring greeted as soon as I walk in the door. Before coming, I had heard they were good and I enjoy Herbalife shakes at home, so I knew what to expect as far as taste. I had also read reviews online about the owner being really welcoming and nice. I walked in and expected to be greeted with a smile and asking if this was my first visit. Nothing. It wasn't that they were busy, she was sitting at the counter talking to someone I'm sure the conversation could have been put on hold for. The young girl at the counter was serving her boyfriend. Very disappointed! Came in with my family and the Kardashian's played very loudly on the TV above. The girl behind the counter did not seemed thrilled that we were there as she had a friend sitting at the other counter eating fastfood and I assume we were interrupting there TV hangout time. I can't rave any more about this place. Mrs.Lee, the owner, is not only attentive and kind, but has customer service down to the T. She greets me by name each time I go into her store. I have driven past this place for years and finally stopped in today. The place is a little sloppy and they do keep the TV on loud (as another review pointed out). I assume that it's so they can hear it over the constant blenders. I did not like that no prices were posted. I ordered a strawberry/banana shake and it was $7. It was just okay. They use Herbalife mix. I'm glad I helped a small business; however, I don't plan on going back.
