Meh. Yes, this place has a variety of smoothies that you can get for a decent smoothie price. The thing this location is lacking is any sort of customer service. A customer can get a sense of whether a business wants them at their establishment. Everyone that was held ahead of us receive the same blank bland look from the person creating the smoothies. I am all for wanting your customers to know your product, but let's be serious. There are dozens of smoothies up on the wall. I love that. I love that there are combinations I might not think of. Don't act like anybody coming off the street for the very first time should know exactly what they want when looking at a board with hundreds of options. Also, when the person ordering says kids sizes for the kids and a small for me that doesn't mean kid sizes for the kids and a medium for me. I graciously paid for it and did not finish it as I thought I would not be able to. We will not be returning, we will settle for our own homemade smoothies unless we go further away from Hiram in Dallas. read more

A huge variety at the store. What I didn't like was I was looking for something with protein/meal replacement and you have to ask to see what's what. Everything is just listed and it's not broke down like a planet smoothie or some other shops. I wanted something with some high calories also but none of the shakes show the breakdown either so that's a downside. A plus is you get to pick your fruits and proteins in the shakes and there are a ton of varieties so the options are nice. The price is higher then most shops. It was over $8 for a medium drink. I can very easily go to another smoothie shop for a better deal. Nice choices, and the flavor was food but this wouldn't be my idea spot. read more

I stopped by out of convenience. It was actually my first visit to Tropical Joe's in general. I was not greeted upon entering and there were only 2 people in the store. They had a wide variety of flavors which made it difficult to choose. I wanted something tropical so I went with the passion fruit smoothie. It aso came with hemp protein, which I've never had. I got the 32oz, which was filling. I haven't decided if it was worth $7 yet though. The girl was pleasant and we had a nice conversation while she made my smoothie. read more

So many choices, beyond reasonable prices. I will try to stop here every time I'm in Hiram. Every smoothie I've had has been awesome. This place is a paulding county gem. The employees are super informative and approachable. I would say this is the ideal place to grab dessert after dinner. My only complaint would be that the large cup doesn't fit in my cup holder! But how much can you really complain when it's 7.43 for 44oz! read more

So this was my first time coming here after hearing about it (word of mouth). I ordered a small Lemon Twist. It was actually delicious!!!! No lie, it tasted like a frozen strawberry lemonade. It was refreshing and filling. I am so glad Hiram/Paulding County FINALLY has a proper smoothie place. I absolutely love their smoothies. The staff is usually very friendly. My go-to is the Georgia Peach with fat burner or the energizer.

They are never open. They have their hours online that they're open from 8am-7:45 but their doors are ALWAYS locked. They need to change their hours online or let people know they're closed instead of letting everyone waste gas just for nothing. read more

I visited this location for the first time yesterday. I wanted a smoothie that would make me full and give me energy. I did not know which smoothie to get or what to get added to it, but the employee helped tremendously. The smoothie tasted amazing, it gave me energy, and it curbed my appetite. I've been coming to this place for years and I'm extremely disappointed! At the beginning of the pandemic I stopped going after I noticed the employees weren't wearing masks or gloves but I decided to give them a second shot a year later and I have to say I don't think I'll be coming back! The place was gnat infested and just had this over all sticky feel and still a year later the employees don't wear masks or gloves absolutely discussing! OK. I love Tropical Joe's in Douglasville and was so excited that one was opening in Hiram near me. The people who work there are awesome and customer service is top rated But I wanted to buy a bag of wheat grass to have juiced. It used to cost $18 a pound now it is up to $20 a pound well 19.99. They brought out a bag of wheat grass that was yellow halfway up the stems. I rejected it. I can go to Arden's Garden and pay 14 for it. I ordered a flu bomb and was watching them pour each shot and they were actually using lemonade from a carton for what I thought should be a freshly squeezed shot of actual lemon. I mean are we talking about our health here? I wanted so badly to have this Tropical Joes B is great as the one in Douglasville but so far it has not. So I guess for now I will go a few doors down and go to the Blended smoothie place. Little disappointed with the quality of my order, after reviewing the menu online a friend was going and I told him what i wanted ( 2 piece bikini ) come to find out they don't have that on the menu and had to piece it together in order to make what they hoped was what I wanted. Telling my friend they hope it taste good because we had to add more to mix with cocoa mixture, instead of just telling him they don't make that one or its an old menu item online. After he made it back to store with my order first sip gross, called into location about returning this and getting something on menu and told by person Id have to spend an additional $7+ for another after being told this may taste funny. I was beginning to become a regular here. Every time I come here the service was always great and my smoothie was always exactly what I expected. I stopped in one day last week to try one of the green juices they offer. I usually get a smoothie but wanted to try something healthier and with less calories. I asked the woman behind the counter which drinks had the least amount of calories and were the best for you and she proceeded to list the top three. I picked one of the three to try and paid for my drink. The drink included apples, pears, pineapples and ginger. I had my 1 month old daughter in my arms so I went to put her in the car and I got in also.I didn't even make it to the light before turning the car back around. The drink "in my opinion" was disgusting. I couldn't taste any other ingredients aside from Ginger. It was spicy and burned my throat. It was overwhelming and I couldn't get it down. I've had juices from other places like "Kale me Crazy" for example with the exact same ingredients. You can taste each one with just a hint of Ginger. That's what I was expecting but that's not what I got. I was gone out of the store, had to have been less than three minutes before I came back inside. Prior to me leaving, the woman behind the counter was super nice and polite. As soon as she saw that I had returned, she instantly had an attitude. So... I had an attitude. I explained to her that the drink wasn't good. It didn't taste like anything else but ginger and it was spicy and burned my throat. She told me she didn't know what she could do for me "Because I had already left the store". So I'm instantly irritated because I just paid $6-$7 for something that I'm not going to drink. I say to the woman, how the drink is disgusting and she says again...she doesn't know what she can do for me because I already left the store and she can't take it back. I ask her what does that have to do with anything? Whether I took a sip in the store or outside of the store...shouldn't the drink go in the garbage regardless??? I have to take a sip to know that I don't like it so If you don't want to remake it just say so but the excuse she gave didn't make any sense. She stated that it wasn't up to her and that she needed to contact the store owner. After we stood there and blinked at each other for a few seconds, she contacted the store owner and explained the situation. I could clearly hear the owner through the phone who " Was Rude" and wasn't aware that I could hear what she was saying.The store owner told her that she can remake the same drink but she doesn't know why I would order a drink with ginger in it if I didn't like ginger...or make another one but I would have to pay for it. So I looked at the woman behind the counter and said. "Can you not just re-make it without the ginger in it????" I wasn't asking her to make anything other than what I purchased. Without hesitation, she says "Sure, I can do that".... In my mind, I'm like...why couldn't you just have done that from the beginning...why did you have to go through all of that? Just to get a drink re-made??? Also, I'm thinking to myself at the same time....Are you taking people's drinks back that didn't like them... that took a sip out of them.."Inside the store".. and remaking them in the same cup???? As much as I was excited for this store and as much as I liked going there. I won't be back. Not even because of the drink. Some drinks you like, some you don't. This store lost my business purely from lack of customer service. The feeling I got from that situation is that I'm only as useful to them as a customer until I swipe my card. After you pay, they don't care about the quality of the product that they're selling or if you as a consumer are happy with that product. If they did, it would have been handled differently and more professionally. Also, if it's a "policy" that you for whatever reason have to taste your smoothie before you "leave the store" or they can't remake it...then they need to have that posted somewhere so that customer's are aware of that. read more
