We ordered a holiday cake a couple days before Christmas Eve but the bakery team still pulled through and made us a triple layer mocha cake a day later. The cake was beautiful (clearly Yelp's AI thought so too, and now it's the cover photo). The Kaluha buttercream was absolutely perfect, but I do wish the bread was softer - the vanilla cake was a bit dry even with the layered syrup in between. As for drinks - the thai iced coffee was nice and strong, but for our second drink, they made us a latte, not a mocha as I requested. They did seem a bit busy during this dinner time, but there's quite a difference in flavor between the two when you're craving a sweet drink you know (also a minor price difference)... While we've only been here for lunch otherwise but I must say their pastry case items look so appealing at every visit (oh how we managed to be good). We came here with a large group, over 20 people, and the restaurant was very accommodating, comfortable, and provided fast service. After our meals everyone in our party had praise for what they ate and the variety really fit the options of our group as there is a good variety sold here. We had a cake made to celebrate our occasion and it was delicious!! It was very most and the frosting was to die for. I've also had cake pops here that were so good! We evacuated during the hurricane to our daughters house in Villa Rica Georgia. We visit her quite often. We stumbled into a new place that's serves breakfast lunch and lots of bakery items. Bakery 27 Cafe is a really nice place. They have a lot of yummy custom-made bakery items. A lot of gluten-free items. A really good breakfast and lunch menu. Everything there is fresh made in house. Their kitchen facilities are very clean and up to date. The whole place is very clean and orderly. Their Gelato is delicious. It is also a very relaxing and comfortable no rush place. The Staff is very customer oriented, fast, and friendly. Parking is easy out back. They are just off the main drag on Maple St. Their prices are very fair. We met with the Owner and head Baker and They are putting together a Special Order of GF treats for our Daughter for tomorrow. They do lots of Catering as well! My mom has severe food allergies, and the pastry chef sat with us for 10-15 minutes talking about ingredients, checking with other chefs and making sure she could eat a treat. He even gave us his card so she could call before our next visit and make sure there was a pastry item that she could have. Best service I've ever had at a bakery. Thanks Bakery 27! This was the first time my husband and myself visited this establishment. We thoroughly enjoyed the food! We went there for lunch. You go to the counter to places your order, take a number and sit down (or order takeout). They have fountain drinks with free refills (Coke Products). They offer specials of the day that are not on their regular menu. Food came out fast and the flavor was on point. There is also a Small bar area with bottle beer, wine and some liquor. They have a bakery selection that I would like to try in the future because everything in the glass case looked scrumptious.
