The ice cream is wonderful and the flavors are all great. I'm a fan of the waffle cone, and they make them well here. I do wish they had more savory flavors, for example, a goats milk cheese and cherries. The service is quick and friendly and the location is right in the square. read more

This place is pretty cool with some very yummy ice cream! They have different flavors daily (they do post their current flavors online & if they have a particular flavor behind the counter they'll get it for you if you ask). I loved the Irish coffee flavor and had them turn it into a shake! Also sampled some of their baked goods: red velvet crumble cookie, Blondie, peanut butter pie, and their cheesecake. On Thursday, September 5th, I was walking into Butterd'udder Carrollton when I noticed a man who I recognized as Michael, the owner, screaming at his young employees. I don't know what exactly was going on, but it was an extremely unprofessional way to display his feelings, considering it was during business hours. The employees always go out of their way to make my experience better, and it hurt my heart to witness such mistreatment. I can't risk my precious grandbabies being exposed to this harmful environment. Safe to say they have lost a loyal customer. read more

Full disclosure, I have never been to their actual storefront so this review is all about what matters - the ice cream. I've had a handful of flavors from their ice cream truck, and each flavor has been great. The coconut ice cream is creamy with real coconut bits in it, the strawberry is solid and not too sweet or not too tart. Regular Vietnamese coffee Oreo is one of my faves, and then I tried the mint Vietnamese coffee Oreo, which I like a little more. If I had to pick 1 favorite though, it would be the Biscoff. There is nothing that compares to this place. Trust me when I tell you that the home-made ice cream they serve is probably what they will have in heaven if heaven has ice cream. The flavors are so unique and every time we go, no matter which flavor(s) we choose, it is so fresh and delicious and creamy and cold... not too soft, not too hard. These people know what they are doing, 1000% recommend them. I haven't tried every ice cream shop in the state of Georgia, but I would put the ice cream at butter'dudder up against any of them and have no doubt it would win every time. We are blessed - BLESSED to have such a great place here in Carrollton, GA. It is a family run business and it shows. The employees are great, too - no matter if it's the middle of the day or the last minutes before closing - they are there FOR YOU and make you feel like you are important to them personally. I can't say enough about it except for this: You need to try a large cup of 1.butter brickle and 2. chocolate, MIXED. OMG. SO amazing. I come here about every week. The lady who runs this place is super sweet and hires amazing employees who are all so patient and kind. My fav flavor is the Banana Pudding but if you're up for a kick go for the Bourbon wafer (I think that's the flavor) Check out the game table as well super cool. read more
