I really liked this business until today! I was over-charged for a 16 oz. smoothie (Recovery) and the Avocado Toast. Somehow that rung up to $23. I recently started frequenting this business 3-4 times a week. The Recovery rings up to $8 and some change and the Avocado Toast is $9. I know that I'm not crazy but that should be $17 and tax...and tax should NOT be $6!! After going back and forth, and the employee telling her manager something in Spanish (with a smirk) and then the manager explaining that the Recovery was priced wrong on the board, I decided not to argue anymore and paid the $23. Please go give this place a try! I have been four times in two weeks....only because I'm restraining myself from going daily. The food could not be any fresher, and it's a healthy menu I feel good about eating with my family. I'm not a fan of styrofoam take-out boxes, but I'm happy to pick up some deliciousness to enjoy at home on my porch. I've tried the chia seed pudding (delicious except the granola tasted a tad overcooked), the exceptional avocado toast with boiled egg, the hummus and apple toast (creative goodness), the almond butter and banana toast (yummy!), and two custom smoothies (love the little sample they give you to try to test the sweetness). Grab a card at the counter to pick your smoothie ingredients (base/liquid, fruits, veggies, proteins, and sweetener)...cute and efficient! It's not super cheap, but if you account for all the fresh fruits and veggies and attention to presentation, it's worth it. I want to try everything on the menu, but unfortunately, they don't open early enough to stop on my way to work. It's a fun afternoon snack though or weekend brunch. It feels more like a take-out place, but they do have a few tables with cute chairs in a colorful space - fine for meeting a friend after a good workout. My family and I have been searching for a place like this around the Acworth/Kennesaw area for a while and we finally found it. Good Acai bowls are hard to come by, especially one's that are prepared the right way. We've been there twice so far and plan to go back. Everyone has been so nice to us and very helpful to our needs since we customize our orders most of the time. The only constructive criticism I have is the time. We've been fortunate to be in there when there's few customers, but the amount of time it takes to get one of their delicious bowls can sometimes take a while and if they get very busy, that time will be even longer.
