That's one sandwich of a pound, but the original is not that much cheaper. Add in all added expenses and your at a $40 sandwich.

Price is crazy have to pay more for lean meat otherwise all you get is grizzly meat. When ordering online you have to use a service not straight through them big disappointment. If you get all lean meat and extra pickles your over fourty dollars for 1 sandwich, yes a pound of two meats split but I can get a pound of each meat, loaf of rye and Swiss for that. The Russian dressing is a watery terrible mess. I rate most things really high but stay away, unless you want to use your Gold card credit card if you have a family of 4.

Bread Basket on 8 mile and the one located on Middlebelt in Livonia has seen me for the LAST TIME! I spent close to $50 including tip and received this NASTY FATTY Reuben on Sunday 11/16/2025. The owner said they're under NEW MANAGEMENT. Well, the quality of the meat is NOT good, the cuts are DISGUSTINGLY FATTY and the man had the AUDACITY to say that I can pay extra for lean!!! In my years going to both spots, I have NEVER paid extra for lean. After paying about $25 per sandwich, it should be PERFECT! Instead, the quality tastes like it's a CHEAPER/LOWER GRADE piece of meat, and the customer service is INSULTING! He wanted me to bring the food back same day or he would so graciously give me 10% off on my next visit. WHAT???? I ended up throwing the sandwich away. I'll go get my own corned beef and for $50, I can get a nice cut with onion rolls, Swiss cheese and sauerkraut and have a few nice sandwiches. This is how restaurants that USED TO BE GOOD, END UP GOING OUT OF BUSINESS! DO BETTER! I've been coming to BB for about 10 years. They have LOST ME, and I will encourage others to go elsewhere. Your business/loyalty is NOT appreciated here. The NEW OWNERSHIP SUCKS!!!!

    Corn beef eggroll

The egg roll was absolutely terrible. I attached a picture. Couldn't even get past one bite.

We ordered the 17oz corned beef and pastrami sandwich and an egg roll. The food was delish. We are from Michigan but moved to Florida. There are no corned beef shops there so this was a real treat. Yummy!

The tenderest well made corned beef sandwiches around. I've been coming here for years, and I would recommend it to any and everyone.

Went to this place on a recommendation from a friend. We ordered the #12 and 2 corned beef egg rolls . I thought it was pretty good the sandwich was stacked , but those egg rolls were to die for. If I wasn't stuffed I would have ordered more of them . We sat inside at the booth Service was good , but it definitely needed some updating in my opinion, but hey if people keep going I guess you don't have to do a thing if the food is consistent. If in the area id recommend trying it out

So very good. Hit the spot. So yummy. My friend and I got two corn beef sandwiches and they magically just melt in your mouth. Delicious!

They do have a dining room, but my order didn't give me an option to mark it "for here," which added to the confusion. Despite the place not being busy, it took about 25 minutes to get my food. When it finally arrived, the grilled cheese was a miss. It was served on a flatbread and came out rock-hard--so tough it was barely edible--like it had been overcooked. The soup did arrive with it, but the overall meal didn't feel worth the wait. Customer service was another weak spot. There wasn't much guidance or engagement, which made the ordering process and the delay more frustrating. I had high hopes for Soup Dive, but this visit was disappointing. If you've got plenty of time for lunch, you might give it a try, but it's not a great option for a quick bite. I'd love to see improvements in the ordering flow, speed, and food quality--there's potential here, but it didn't come through on this visit.

They hand make their dumplings as well as many of their items and it shows. The noodles are really good and not your prepackaged variety. In fact the noodles are excellent! We had their dumplings, wontons, pot stickers, two types of noodles, eggplant, beef rolls, and meat buns. The eggplant dish was so delicious! And their noodles with tomato egg tasted very much like tomato beef chow mein which we have on the West Coast. It was so good!! The type of cuisine is Taiwan or Northern style with lots of chili oil, but not overly spicy. The place is very clean! You order à la carte from a big menu at the counter. You get your utensils, bowls and plates from a table in the back but they bring your food to you. The service was quick, friendly, and excellent. They have a menu board with multiple options listed. You order at the stand at the back of the store, and then our food was brought out to us even though we had ordered it to go. I am not sure if that is always the process- I was expecting to go to the counter to pick it up myself so that was a nice surprise! We ordered our sandwiches to go even though we were dining in as we knew we would be taking home leftovers. The seating area inside is no frills. They have less than 10 tables inside, and when we were leaving all of them were full with people waiting for seats. They did appear to have 2 tables outside but they were not being used as it was raining. They did have a carafe full of ice water that was self serve by the door, and they had large cups available which I appreciated! My eyes were immediately drawn to the Spicy Chicken Caesar and the Napa Club. Since this was my first time I ordered both and planned to share half of each sandwich. When I opened the Spicy Chicken Caesar I was surprised by the appearance of it. I had expected a lot more lettuce inside. It looked more like chicken salad rather than salad with chicken. The flavor was good and it was not too spicy! The focaccia was very soft. The Napa Club had great flavor to it, but when I was eating it I could really tell that there was avocado inside of it. The predominant flavor was the garlic and herb aioli. I did feel the chicken was a touch on the dry side. Overall, my experience and food were good; however, I am not sure I agree with the rave reviews. I would return in the future and would love to try some of their other meats aside from chicken, and their pasta salad also looked nice. The service was friendly and I feel like the price was fair. It's a nice addition to downtown Farmington!

After graduating my girlfriend [now wife] and I would make it a point to try and eat at Matsu-Chan when in the area, even after our first kiddo, and eventually our second. Last year before one of our trips to the area my wife let me know that they were under new management and when I looked at the new menu, I was saddened that all of my favorite items were no longer present, and it seemed that my beloved little slice of Japan was now "just" a ramen shop. While my wife loves and can handle ramen and the broth, I would typically get the different rice bowls, or other entrees because while I love me some good ramen it doesn't work out well for me with the hour or so trip to the area. We'd get some rolls, takoyaki, and other appetizers to share around the table before digging into our main entrees. With the increased prices, and fewer options, I will end up going to any of the multitude of places [Aji-ten is usually our #2] to get my kick. I'll miss the little shop and the times I've had, like perusing the manga while waiting for a table. I wish the old owners the best, and the new management as well, especially if it was a familial transfer, but Matsu-Chan is not for me anymore. My wife will eventually get up there and let me know how it is, but for now, I'm just happy that a little bento shop opened near my workplace run by two first gen transplants, so I can at least get my fix without the drive.

I appreciated that the meal was sizeable and inexpensive - I was able to stretch it to two meals. We did not linger given the number of people waiting.
