We ran across B&C at a Chucks Hop Shop and decided to try them out. I had the Wilbur and my wife had the Chick Pea Panisse. Absolutely delicious. The Wilbur may be one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Very good food. read more

Awesome food, seriously, the beer Mac n cheese is fantastic. The burger is delectable. Really great food truck. But beware of the signs! They are misleading: "get a free duck fat popcorn (when you say please and thank you)" actually means "ask for a duck fat popcorn and then say please and thank you to get it for free. Thanks for the popcorn, you guys. Keep up the fantastic cooking! read more

*Picked up a burger, brussels and fries at the Ridgehouse last night, super tasty *I love that they put bone marrow in their buns *The fries were very very average but they brussels with a hard boiled pickled egg and prok cirspins! Man! read more

Stopped by Stoup yesterday evening, and treated myself to dinner at this new food truck. Got the brussel sprout caesar salad and the War of the Pig sandwich. Both were awesome...both last night and when I ate my leftovers for lunch. Really wanted to try the beer can chicken (ok...and everything else on the menu!), but that was already a lot of food. Next time, which will need to be soon! Truck looks great too! read more

For $10 you can order a truly terrible dish of fried Brussels sprouts. My coworker and I got physically ill from eating just half of it. No human should ingest that amount of oil, it also shouldn't be considered a salad. Possibly the other choices are better but for $16 on a burger I wouldn't want to take the chance. read more

Stopped by whle the truck was at Chuck's Hop Shop on Union. The service was great - the guys were really friendly and helpful. It was my first time there, so I told the guys what I was feeling like and they made suggestions. I said I wasn't SUPER hungry but hat I wanted to try the breakfast burrito, so the chef offered to cut it in half and wrap a part of it in foil for me. Burrito itself: chorizo, egg, tater tots, something else, and cheese (which I had them omit) It was okay, but kind of salty. I don't know if they added more salt for seasoning, but I have a feeling it was the chorizo. read more

First off, finding a breakfast cart/truck that would come to Kent was not an easy task. Coordinated a breakfast with Syd for an early morning event. Super responsive to my questions and requests. Made the process really easy. Demond showed up bright and early and was able to knock out 70 made to order servings in the short 2.5 hours we had him. All three menu items were a hit and tasted great! The Tres Leeches French Toast was a hit along with the biscuits and a fantastic gravy! I would absolutely recommend Bread and Circuses to anyone looking for a high quality food cart/truck experience. Thanks again and look forward to partnering again in the future! read more

This place is NOT CLOSED...just go to The Woods in Georgetown and bread and circuses have a kitchen/ restaurant inside. Where Seattle Cider and Two Beers is located read more

The food truck is outside my office building on Tuesdays, and never disappoints. The circus burger was the first thing I got, and oh man was it great. Best burger in the area. Today the guy working in the food truck convinced me to try "the Wilbur" and it was even better than the burger. Every single thing I have had on the menu has been wonderful. The brussell sprout caeser is incredible, but be wary a large is a lot of food. Their prices are very fair. Beyond the food though, are the staff. The people working the truck have been awesome everytime. Today, after I ordered a guy showed up with a dog and got a burger, and the guy working the truck asked if his pup would like a patty on the house. They are just awesome people, and they serve awesome food. I have nothing bad to say about em. read more

Had the only vegetarian item on the menu at the Hellbent Brewery location - the quesadilla. It was soggy, bland, and I had to stop after eating half of it. I don't usually expect a quesadilla to be made with pita bread... disappointing. read more

Let me start off by saying the customer service couldn't be better. They're a nice bunch. I've had the delicious jo jos, and am excited to catch the potato tornado at some point too. Recently I grubbed on the "Spinach Panerai Quesidilla", goodness that was tasty too. There's a line, which although can be annoying, it speaks volume. This place is delicious, let's eat! Happy to see some vegetarian options too. Sorry no pictures of this good food, I was too hungry to bother. read more

See all

Twice now I've ordered the vegetarian options when the truck was parked at Chuck's on 85th. The veggie patty burger was really kind of sub par, especially since I was paying over 13$, 15$ with tip. Likewise when I ordered the quesadilla. 15$ with tip for cheesy goop on a tortilla. At least the tortilla was good. Maybe the meat options are pretty good, but I won't be back. read more

Stumbled upon this place while exploring the Seattle space needle and was blown away! I ordered their "burger" with kimchi and it was hands down one of the best burgers I have ever had. It was packed with flavor and every bite was better than the last. I love the idea of adding kimchi to the burger and the buns are so soft. They also have incredible fries. I wish I lived in Seattle so I could experience this food truck more. read more

OMG Bread and Circuses is amazing! We used them to cater our wedding reception and everything was even better than we had imagined it would be. Working with Syd to plan the event was super-smooth and comfortable. The guests all loved the experience of ordering at the food truck, but more importantly -- the food -- oh the food! The beer can chicken, Brussels sprouts caesar, jalapeno poppers, short-rib nachos, and mac and cheese were particular crowd pleasers, but frankly we would have trouble narrowing down any true favorites. It was all done perfectly. The staff was highly professional, clean, and prompt, and everything went ultra-smoothly. We would highly recommend Bread and Circuses to any of our friends! read more

Realistically, this sandwich was overpriced. BUT, that's sort of the price you pay for the convenience of getting a tasty meal cooked fresh at your favorite kitchenless brewery. That said, The Jerk chicken sandwich was AMAZING. Juicy, spicy, and just packed with flavors. I finished eating and didn't want to be done. Not because I was full, necessarily, but because it was so dang delicious I was ready to keep eating until my heart stopped. read more

The salmon reuben was very, very tasty! It's incredibly salty, of course, but everything about it was delicious.

Holy Lunchgasm Batman! Offering a salmon Reuben, beer butt chicken, pork sandwich, burger, and tofu options with fries, biscuits, and Brussel sprout Caesar salad for sides. I tried everything but the pork Sammie and all were excellently prepared, seasoned perfectly and inventive with flavors. Congrats to Sid and co. read more

Don't get the mac and cheese....had to throw it away. Kraft mac and cheese was better than their cold flavorless mac and cheese

The food is amazing, especially the spinach and pannier quesadilla. We also LOVED the tatter tots but that was a limited run. PLEASE BRING BACK THE TOTS! Bonus: The staff is also friendly and nice. read more

Brussel sprout salad - big for the price and hella good. Pickled egg was a nice touch. My husband and brother in law had the double brunch burger with an egg ( make sure you have napkins for that one) will be returning during the week to try out the weekday menu. read more

This place is fantastic! This is truck is a destination and is worth seeking it out. The porchetta sandwich and Brussel Caesar are must haves! Great food and great people! read more

B&C is a pleasant surprise hidden in the hidden The Woods tasting room. Go hungry if you are tasting beer and cider and check them out. The burger was just the right balance of beef, condiments and bun. Simple can be genius. read more

Not sure if was just the end of the night doldrums or if this is what is usually served, but if you have bread in your name it shouldn't turn into a soggy uneatable mess. I want to like this place, it was friendly and it was nice to get a beer while waiting for our food, but for a $10+ sandwich I want to able to eat more than a few bites before it falls apart in my hand. Fries are good and I have to add that since that was all I ate for the almost $30 spent. read more

We hired Bread and Circuses for our June wedding. Communication with Syd leading up to the event was seamless. We were invited to a tasting at their Sodo location with complimentary beers. Service at the wedding was smooth - everyone raved about the food (banquet style is so overrated!). Juicy burgers, cheesy mac 'n cheese, and some crazy caesar brussel sprouts stole the show! Absolutely recommend hiring Bread and Circuses Food Truck. :) read more

My review is strictly related to coordinating the Bread and Circuses food truck for an event. We found them through Seattle Food Trucks, and received *so* much support from their catering manager as we planned our event, with tons of ideas for how to customize our menu and options for our particular event size and demographic (lots of kids, so we needed some more kid-friendly options). We received EXCEPTIONAL customer service through the whole process! Amazing! read more

This place was such a pleasant surprise when I was at The Woods Tasting Room! The Woods just recently started serving food and Bread and Circuses seems like the perfect choice. The menu is small but what they offer is delicious! The boy and I shared the mac and cheese, brussel sprout caesar, and the meat and cheese board. I love a good meat and cheese plate and theirs was exceptional! Plenty of meat, cheese, and accoutrements! But unfortunately, there was not nearly enough bread. As good as this board was, the standout was the brussel sprout caesar! The brussel sprouts were crispy and the salad was perfectly cheesy and crouton-y. I could have eaten 2 bowls by myself! read more

Just had the Spinach Paneer Quesadilla from a truck, and it was better than I expected. I'm not a big spinach fan, but I tried it anyway, and was quickly wolfing it down. I would definitely get it again, and will have to take my wife some time too. read more

Had the chance to try this truck at Stoup brewing company last night and it was awesome. Super friendly chef, awesome food (jerk chicken sandwich) and crispy fries. My buddy got the burger and enjoyed it too. If you're ever near by, give them a try. read more

AMAZING. I got the Wilbur, a pork chop sandwich with apple cole slaw and sweet/hot green peppers. It was so sad when I was done eating it. I just wanted another one. These guys are the real deal! Come try their food on Tuesday evenings in Shoreline, next to Ridgecrest Pub on 165th and 5th. read more

Amazing burger, Reuben, and Brussels sprout salad. Actually, everything was really good. Love finding these guys at Chucks or the Stoup in Ballard. Hands down my favorite truck. read more

This review is just for the burger which was awesome. Flavor, freshness, bun, toppings were all tasty and extra special. The guys running the truck were friendly. I'm excited to try the other stuff on the menu. I hope they keep coming to Chuck's Hop Shop! read more

I have to be honest. I have eaten here multiple times and I have only ordered the breakfast burrito. So I cannot speak to the quality of their other offerings. However, the breakfast burrito is probably the best breakfast burrito I have eaten so far in Seattle. The fried goodness of the French fries, melted cheese, chorizo and black beans with scrambled eggs. Persons on a diet need not apply. read more

We had an outstanding lunch Sunday at their truck on Union Street....I had a fabulous hamburger with Arugula on it and my husband had the best burrito he has ever had (and he happens to be somewhat of an expert on burritos!!!)....fine quality food, super clean trucks and very friendly accommodating personal....a wonderful experience....more like being in a first rate restaurant....we loved it!!!!!....dee mcquesten read more

Kudos! Nearly three decades on this earth and I thought I'd never meet a brussel sprout I actually liked...so thank you, Bread and Circuses, for enlightening my immature palate. The Fried Brussel Caesar was ridiculously amazing, but so was everything else I tried/mooched off of my friends' plates. Definitely getting the Circus Burger again next time with a side of the Potato Tornado (fun to say, fun to eat). I'm excited to see this snazzy truck in the mix, and really hope it frequents the Ballad neighborhood because I don't get out much. read more

Love seeing local, amazing Chefs going out and doing their own thing. The Bread and Circuses guys have put their own innovative twists on quality food. Its a great mix. I had the Circus Burger and my hubby had the Beer Can Chicken (which I ate half of). Looking forward to trying other stuff on the menu and seeing what they come up with next. Nicely done, guys. Welcome to the neighborhood. read more

The war of the pig was an excellent sandwich. The bonus was it came from a food truck. The burger was just as good. I would recommend if you see this truck you should at least try the war of the pig! I will have to try more of the menu at the next movie! read more

WOW we stopped in at Seattle cider to grab some amazing cider best in Seattle for sure and decided we were hungry. So we got some duck fat popcorn I loved it couldn't stop eating it husband wasn't a fan but the garlic fries were awesome and the Brussel sprout Cesar was perfection. Rich and creamy the sprouts were tendar and the pieces of bacon were just the right addition for texture and salt. It is a must try. We will have it every time we go now. The people at bread and circus are friendly and always nice . the sounders fans and regulars are always fun . we will be back again. read more

Syd and his crew do an amazing job! B&C catered our wedding. Chef Rob and his team showed up promptly, treated our friend's kitchen super respectfully (umm I don't think they even dropped a crumb on the floor or counter), were super friendly, and made some bomb food. Our friends and family LOVED the food. A friend of ours who is a food blogger said it was the best burger she'd ever tasted. They boxed up the leftovers for us so that we could feed our friends in the am. We'd hire B&C again in a heartbeat. read more

We went to a wedding last night that Bread & Circuses catered; they put an innovavative spin on Indian food and street food. Think lamb tacos, paneer quesadillas, roasted cauliflower. It was so delicious I just wish I ate more! I woke up this morning craving those lamb tacos. Will need to make a visit here soon! read more
