For $10 you can order a truly terrible dish of fried Brussels sprouts. My coworker and I got physically ill from eating just half of it. No human should ingest that amount of oil, it also shouldn't be considered a salad. Possibly the other choices are better but for $16 on a burger I wouldn't want to take the chance. read more

Stopped by Stoup yesterday evening, and treated myself to dinner at this new food truck. Got the brussel sprout caesar salad and the War of the Pig sandwich. Both were awesome...both last night and when I ate my leftovers for lunch. Really wanted to try the beer can chicken (ok...and everything else on the menu!), but that was already a lot of food. First off, finding a breakfast cart/truck that would come to Kent was not an easy task. Coordinated a breakfast with Syd for an early morning event. Super responsive to my questions and requests. Made the process really easy. Demond showed up bright and early and was able to knock out 70 made to order servings in the short 2.5 hours we had him. All three menu items were a hit and tasted great! The Tres Leeches French Toast was a hit along with the biscuits and a fantastic gravy! I would absolutely recommend Bread and Circuses to anyone looking for a high quality food cart/truck experience. Thanks again and look forward to partnering again in the future! read more

Stopped by whle the truck was at Chuck's Hop Shop on Union. The service was great - the guys were really friendly and helpful. It was my first time there, so I told the guys what I was feeling like and they made suggestions. I said I wasn't SUPER hungry but hat I wanted to try the breakfast burrito, so the chef offered to cut it in half and wrap a part of it in foil for me. Burrito itself: chorizo, egg, tater tots, something else, and cheese (which I had them omit) It was okay, but kind of salty. I don't know if they added more salt for seasoning, but I have a feeling it was the chorizo. read more

Had the only vegetarian item on the menu at the Hellbent Brewery location - the quesadilla. It was soggy, bland, and I had to stop after eating half of it. I don't usually expect a quesadilla to be made with pita bread... disappointing. read more

The food truck is outside my office building on Tuesdays, and never disappoints. The circus burger was the first thing I got, and oh man was it great. Best burger in the area. Today the guy working in the food truck convinced me to try "the Wilbur" and it was even better than the burger. Every single thing I have had on the menu has been wonderful. The brussell sprout caeser is incredible, but be wary a large is a lot of food. Their prices are very fair. Beyond the food though, are the staff. The people working the truck have been awesome everytime. Today, after I ordered a guy showed up with a dog and got a burger, and the guy working the truck asked if his pup would like a patty on the house. Twice now I've ordered the vegetarian options when the truck was parked at Chuck's on 85th. The veggie patty burger was really kind of sub par, especially since I was paying over 13$, 15$ with tip. Likewise when I ordered the quesadilla. 15$ with tip for cheesy goop on a tortilla. At least the tortilla was good. Maybe the meat options are pretty good, but I won't be back. read more

Stumbled upon this place while exploring the Seattle space needle and was blown away! I ordered their "burger" with kimchi and it was hands down one of the best burgers I have ever had. It was packed with flavor and every bite was better than the last. I love the idea of adding kimchi to the burger and the buns are so soft. They also have incredible fries. I wish I lived in Seattle so I could experience this food truck more. read more

Let me start off by saying the customer service couldn't be better. They're a nice bunch. I've had the delicious jo jos, and am excited to catch the potato tornado at some point too. Recently I grubbed on the "Spinach Panerai Quesidilla", goodness that was tasty too. There's a line, which although can be annoying, it speaks volume. This place is delicious, let's eat! Realistically, this sandwich was overpriced. BUT, that's sort of the price you pay for the convenience of getting a tasty meal cooked fresh at your favorite kitchenless brewery. That said, The Jerk chicken sandwich was AMAZING. Juicy, spicy, and just packed with flavors. I finished eating and didn't want to be done. OMG Bread and Circuses is amazing! We used them to cater our wedding reception and everything was even better than we had imagined it would be. Working with Syd to plan the event was super-smooth and comfortable. The guests all loved the experience of ordering at the food truck, but more importantly -- the food -- oh the food! The beer can chicken, Brussels sprouts caesar, jalapeno poppers, short-rib nachos, and mac and cheese were particular crowd pleasers, but frankly we would have trouble narrowing down any true favorites. It was all done perfectly. The staff was highly professional, clean, and prompt, and everything went ultra-smoothly. We would highly recommend Bread and Circuses to any of our friends! read more

The salmon reuben was very, very tasty! It's incredibly salty, of course, but everything about it was delicious.

Brussel sprout salad - big for the price and hella good. Pickled egg was a nice touch. My husband and brother in law had the double brunch burger with an egg ( make sure you have napkins for that one) will be returning during the week to try out the weekday menu. read more

We hired Bread and Circuses for our June wedding. Communication with Syd leading up to the event was seamless. We were invited to a tasting at their Sodo location with complimentary beers. Service at the wedding was smooth - everyone raved about the food (banquet style is so overrated!). Juicy burgers, cheesy mac 'n cheese, and some crazy caesar brussel sprouts stole the show! I want to like this place, it was friendly and it was nice to get a beer while waiting for our food, but for a $10+ sandwich I want to able to eat more than a few bites before it falls apart in my hand. This place was such a pleasant surprise when I was at The Woods Tasting Room! The Woods just recently started serving food and Bread and Circuses seems like the perfect choice. The menu is small but what they offer is delicious! The boy and I shared the mac and cheese, brussel sprout caesar, and the meat and cheese board. I love a good meat and cheese plate and theirs was exceptional! Plenty of meat, cheese, and accoutrements! But unfortunately, there was not nearly enough bread. As good as this board was, the standout was the brussel sprout caesar! The brussel sprouts were crispy and the salad was perfectly cheesy and crouton-y. I have to be honest. I have eaten here multiple times and I have only ordered the breakfast burrito. So I cannot speak to the quality of their other offerings. However, the breakfast burrito is probably the best breakfast burrito I have eaten so far in Seattle. The fried goodness of the French fries, melted cheese, chorizo and black beans with scrambled eggs. Persons on a diet need not apply. read more

Chef Rob and his team showed up promptly, treated our friend's kitchen super respectfully (umm I don't think they even dropped a crumb on the floor or counter), were super friendly, and made some bomb food. Our friends and family LOVED the food. A friend of ours who is a food blogger said it was the best burger she'd ever tasted. Kudos! Nearly three decades on this earth and I thought I'd never meet a brussel sprout I actually liked...so thank you, Bread and Circuses, for enlightening my immature palate. The Fried Brussel Caesar was ridiculously amazing, but so was everything else I tried/mooched off of my friends' plates. The war of the pig was an excellent sandwich. The bonus was it came from a food truck. The burger was just as good. I would recommend if you see this truck you should at least try the war of the pig! I will have to try more of the menu at the next movie! read more

WOW we stopped in at Seattle cider to grab some amazing cider best in Seattle for sure and decided we were hungry. So we got some duck fat popcorn I loved it couldn't stop eating it husband wasn't a fan but the garlic fries were awesome and the Brussel sprout Cesar was perfection. Rich and creamy the sprouts were tendar and the pieces of bacon were just the right addition for texture and salt. It is a must try. We will have it every time we go now. The people at bread and circus are friendly and always nice . the sounders fans and regulars are always fun . we will be back again. read more

We went to a wedding last night that Bread & Circuses catered; they put an innovavative spin on Indian food and street food. Think lamb tacos, paneer quesadillas, roasted cauliflower. It was so delicious I just wish I ate more! I woke up this morning craving those lamb tacos. Will need to make a visit here soon! read more
