We had this for breakfast again today and it was so good!! We have only ever eaten here through door dash so today was our first time in the store. What a great experience! Super cute inside, they've got a greenery wall and lots of little air plants around the building. Exposed ductwork with fresh turquoise paint looks really neat! Stephanie greeted us at the door and quickly explained how to place our order, where we can find condiments/drinks/etc and helped us with the menu. I got the eggs Benedict (again, I'm a sucker for it!) my husband got a build-your-own omelette and enjoyed it a lot. I got the seasoned potatoes with my meal and they were sooooo good! If you're looking for a place to sit down and enjoy good food and service this is not the place to go. Very disappointing! We heard about Bread & Butter through Facebook and were looking to try a new weekend breakfast location. Upon walking in we were greeted, provided menus, and told we could sit anywhere. Nice place with a "hipster" feel and decor. The next contact we had was with the lady wiping our table off. She said that we had to go to the counter to order and they'd "take care" of us from then on. Staff was nice. Not exactly accurate in regards to taking care of us. We had to stand in line to order the meal and drinks. You pay and tip before getting your meal. I figured we'd be tipping for the service and them "taking care" of us. Nope! Premium prices for no service. We were given our cups and told we could serve ourselves at the drink bar and to the bread if we wanted some. Also, had to get our own utensils. Got a piece of bread and couldn't find any strawberry jelly, checking on 3 other tables myself. Refills on drinks were done by yourself. They did bring out the food, and it was good, but this is literally the only service you receive. Again, the food had good presentation and tasted good but, when paying premium prices for breakfast food I expect a bit more. We were really disappointed and don't expect to return. The experience was similar to eating free breakfast at a hotel. Our bill for 2, after an 18% tip for the service I thought we'd get, was $39.06 (2 breakfast plates and 2 coffees). Great food and friendly service in a cute clean environment. My husband and I came after a storm knocked the power out to our house all day. They had just changed their hours to serving dinner as well as breakfast and brunch. Service was prompt and the fries were the BEST I have ever had! Crispy, not greasy; creamy on the inside and so perfectly seasoned that I ate them with out any ketchup or ranch. The sandwich was delicious as well and I would highly recommend this restaurant. I want to try their other menu items next time, but am torn with the knowledge of how good this meal was. The churros were very yummy as well! Crispy and chewy with great flavor and drizzled in chocolate sauce with a sliced strawberry. I gobbled them up before thinking to take a picture! Mediocre. Got eggs, sausage and an English muffin and was charged extra for the English muffin when in reality I wanted it instead of the pancakes. I was looking for a new place for breakfast, when we walked in I was surprised at the decor it's a beautiful restaurant. There we a few people camping out doing work so I figured okay they've established themselves and people like it here. I was also so happy that they offered lunch early! Bonus! My wife got the crepes, a side of bacon, and the seasoned potatoes with a coffee, I opted for the eggplant parmigiana with spaghetti, mozzarella sticks, and a fountain drink. I never mind paying a lot for good food and at $42 for the two of us I expected good food. We got our drinks and found a table, the set up for the place is to order and sit no servers here. The first thing out of the kitchen was the mozzarella sticks, really basic nothing special they didn't come with a sauce but did have a large portion of lettuce on the plate. Everything else came pretty quick after, the bacon was poor quality, greasy, and stuck together. I'm not sure where the disconnect on the seasoned potatoes was but it came covered in some sort of sauce which had no flavor and the potatoes were undercooked. The crepes were good but had an overworked rubbery texture. As far as the eggplant it was cut very thin so I really only got breading and the pasta was overdone and gummy. Defiantly not worth the price! I will say the person that took our order was really nice, very personable and a great face for the restaurant. I also overhear several conversations the manager had with customers and they were very nice an knowledgeable. However they have an open kitchen here and at one point during our stay forgot that and the cook and the manager had a loud disagreement that really killed the vibe. I really hope this was just a bad day because I would like to see more restaurants like this come to Crowley in the future. read more

While I was told I could come to the register to order, I was not greeted. I placed my order and sat down....ordering a Spanish omelet and cappuccino. I prefer to have salsa when I have an egg meal.....the waitress never returned to the table to ask how the food was and could she get me anything. The eggs were ok....not much taste and the cappuccino was scalding hot and there was no froth. The only thing I could for flavor was sugar....no other items available from the coffee bar. I could not drink it. I bet if you took the temperature that it was far exceeding the health department temperature set for hot drinks. This was my second time......I will not be a customer again.
