I've driven by this place a bunch of times, but never stopped in. When you drive by it, it looks like it's just a small drive-through, but it actually has seating inside. I drove into the parking lot thinking I was getting into the beginning of the drive-through, but I had actually entered in the middle of the drive-through and had to wait and drive around, but that was no big deal. They said it happens a lot. They were out of Pumpkin Spice, so I got a Maple Bacon Dirty Chai and it was really tasty. It was sweet, but not overly sweet. I also ordered a chocolate croissant and it was perfection. It was different than some of their coffee competitor's chocolate croissants, which I liked. It seemed like the chocolate was baked into the layers. There wasn't a crumb left after I got after it! If you're on the side of town, I highly recommend going here instead of some of the chain coffee places. The service is great and there's a good selection of drinks and breakfast items. New favorite place %100. First things first, it is such a cute spot. Aesthetic nailed. The tots. They're insane. They're dusted in a sweet spiced seasoning that was unexpected and life changing. I live in Austin and feel like i'm cheating on my husband with these tots. I dream of them at night and am planning a trip back to Fort Worth to have them again. The price on everything was more than fair and the breakfast sandwiches delicious. The prairie girl matcha (lavender and white chocolate) was mellow, balanced, and delightfully lowkey. The best thing, however was Natalie's service. Hands down. She was friendly, give us personal recommendations, and wasn't frustrated when I took 7 years to order because every drink looked so good. Saw this shop on TikTok and wanted to try their bucket coffee. The price for a bucket is pretty good. Ordered the fort and asked for half sweet with coconut milk due to a lactose allergy. They must have added coconut syrup instead all I tasted was coconut and it felt oily. The worst part it when I dumped my coffee (couldn't finish it due to the taste) there was a straw wrapper in my cup. Drove over an hour to try this place and was disappointed. I had company with me and we got the van zandt and fort crunk which were both great. Van zandt especially creamy. The sandwich was amazing as well and the sauce was bomb. My wife and I have both had good coffee from Townes, but neither of us had been there for a while. We stopped by this morning (6/19/26) to grab a coffee and light breakfast. Unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. Both of our "hot" coffees were slightly above room temperature. My Panther tasted fine, but my wife's "skinny" Cowtown did not. Perhaps it was the sugar free syrup, but other shops' low cal coffees still deliver on flavor. This would certainly did not. Lastly, I was really looking forward to the brisket, egg and cheese biscuit. However, I was extremely disappointed. The biscuit was good, and the egg was fine. That said, I am not sure how the meat on the sandwich can be called brisket. It was extremely dry and shredded into very small pieces with zero flavor. This was my first time visiting Townes. While I enjoyed my latte, they had run out of eggs and biscuits and stated the kitchen was closed. However I noticed they have chicken sandwiches on the menu and when I ordered, I was told they could make it for me. So I don't understand why I was told the kitchen was closed when they could've offered alternative options instead. The restrooms also did not have a trash can for paper towel disposal. My experience wasn't terrible, the ambiance was nice and decor was great but the place simply has some loose ends to tie up. Maybe place sauces and napkins in dining room for customers to access rather than asking for them would be helpful. I am not sure if I will be back. read more

Hi. We are so excited to have a mom and pop coffee shop near by that offers also food. Staff is awesome and the service is good but they keep changing when they serve things. It was fun to grab some awesome tator tots for a late snack but now they stop serving anything from the kitchen after 2. ok that's fine, came to sit inside the diner tonite (along with two other people) and it was closed. No never knows when that will be open, guess that closes early now too. Nothing is consistent with hours and service.
