Story of Kahwa coffee
michelle p.

New coffee shop on Magnolia with a bright and inviting ambience. The owner was kind and friendly. I ordered the chai latte and it was delicious!! I would go back to try the coffee and the delicious looking pastries next time!

Happened to drive by Kahwa earlier in the day and decided to check them out on the way back home. Haven't ever heard of their brand of coffee and recently discovered they are fairly new to the coffee scene here in Fort Worth; in fact, Wednesday was their Grand Opening. Josh, one of the co-owners, and I visited for a little bit. Having managed a coffee shop years ago, it was fun talking about one of my passions. Looks like the shop has a full variety of drink and food offerings. I simply chose an Earl Grey hot tea. The service and personal attention given were warm, friendly, and very personable. The store seemed exceptionally clean and well-maintained. There were a handful of other patrons utilizing the tables throughout the seating area. Maybe next time I'll swing by to read and hang out. Please give Kahwa a try. You won't regret it! By the way, they are hiring.

Cute place albeit small. Service was immediate and attentive, the ladies were patient; as much as I think I know what I want, I'm willing to try something new if the mood hits. I don't typically eat muffins, but the chocolate chip muffin was recommended and very tasty. It's very quiet inside, but I'm definitely ok with that.

Nitro Coldbrew and Biscotti

Kahwa's nitro cold brew is very smooth, and their biscotti is crisp and without being crunchy and complemented the cold coffee experience. The ambiance is nice and clean with a lot of great natural light and peoplewatching opportunities along Magnolia. The acoustics are a little echoy and make a quiet conversation somewhat difficult, but overall a delightful spot worth revisiting.

Good coffee amazing customer service. They close at 5PM on Saturday I walked in at 5 the young lady was so sweet she greeted me and made me a cup of coffee.

Sausage and gravy scone, aloha coffee and the crest tea pot ever! Super cute little business! Excited to find it.

Super cute little business with tasty treats and out door seating that is pup friendly! Makes waiting on hospital scans less stressful.

I got one of their teas and it was delicious! Not too busy so it's a great place to get work done and study. The baristas are great!

If anything, that actually added to the experience for her. She liked the vibe and inside decor, not because she partakes in cannabis use, but she's not familiar with the 420 culture in the first place so it all kind of stood out. I agree with that as well. The design plays into the theme well! This of course extends to the menu as well. All sandwiches are named after different strains of weed. I got the Kali Mist - a spicy turkey club - on white and my mom got the KGB - a roast beef and horseradish sandich - on garlic herb. As opposed to small, medium, large, the sizes are nug, pinner, and blunt. We both got nug sizes since we weren't too hungry at the time but still wanted to try. Long story short, the sandwiches were absolutely delicious. They're all toasted so the bread provides a great, warm base. The avocado on the Kali Mist stood out for me, providing a nice rich flavor and texture amongst everything else. I tried a bit of the KGB as well and the horseradish gives a nice contrast to the flavorful roast beef. Overall, I would definitely come back again to try out more of the sandwiches.

This particular spot is a deli sandwich place; they do have some standout choices, but I was craving tuna, so I ordered their Pacific Blue (Tuna Melt). Loved that they toasted the buns; it was good but didn't wow me. They skimped on the cheese and didn't add the jalapeños I requested. Service was incredibly slow, but there was a huge rush-hour crowd, so I'll overlook it. All in all, the theme is cool. Loved that they had vendors and music available the day we went; it gave us an opportunity to have something to do while we waited. I did spot board games, but naturally didn't think we'd need them. The goo ball was overly buttery and definitely had peanut butter. It was good for the first couple of bites but I quickly tossed it afterward once it became too much. If a deli is your thing, give it a try. I'm sure on any other given day they'd be better at delivering a sandwich with everything.

We decided on a couple of flights to try a bit of everything. We ordered the bao bun flight and we loved it. Surprisingly the tofu one was good. I'm not vegetarian and honestly avoid tofu. The gentleman said try it. I was so happy I did. It was one of my favorites. We got the dumpling flight and we lovedd it as well. Only downside is there were so many of them I couldn't tell one for another. We also had their burger bao and my husband loved it as well. It definately is a huge twist on traditional food. We finished off with the cinnamon roll. Which we liked a lot We stepped over to grandmas bar and they delivered the food to us. The customer service and food is just what you want for a nice date

The elotes dumpling was good too, though I'm not convinced on the price ($3 for a single dumpling). Service was okay. I visited around 1:30pm on a weekday, so it was empty and I got my food relatively quick. There is indoor and outdoor seating available.

My husband found The Great Outdoors Sub Shop, and it absolutely hit the spot. I ordered the turkey and cheese with the works (minus tomatoes), and my husband went with the same sandwich but built his own without the preset toppings. The bread is baked fresh in-house, and all of the fixings tasted fresh and high quality. I grabbed a bag of chips and a drink, and it made for a solid, satisfying meal. If I'm being picky, I wouldn't have minded a little more meat--but overall, the flavor was on point. The place was clean, with steady foot traffic from nearby businesses, which is always a good sign. The servers were ready to take on all the orders that came in. Bonus points: they also offer desserts and ice cream! Definitely a great option if you're craving a classic deli experience

One sandwich was the club and the other sandwich was the turkey pastrami. By my mistake, I thought that my was going to be turkey and pastrami. The sandwiches were subpar and the soup that I ordered for almost 6 dollars was just a cup not even a bowl with a few crackers. I requested additional condiments, which we never received.

This is not my usual style of restaurant, but some people might find it appealing it. The service was good! Our waitress was nice and got us our food quickly. The restaurant was actually pretty empty for being a Tuesday afternoon. The part that brought my rating down so much was due to the food being very average. My burger did not really taste beefy or char-grilled. Rather, it tasted similar to a frozen patty made at home which I would have enjoyed equally if not maybe more. The fries were not enjoyable to me at all. Fries are my number one comfort food and it hurt me to have to leave most of them on the plate to be trashed, but I just couldn't get them down. I'm not sure if the made the BBQ sauce in house or not, but it was overly smokey and I couldn't eat that either. Normally this wouldn't bother me so much, but my bill came to over $20 for just a burger and fries. It was very overpriced for something that was half not enjoyable and half average. I would not come back.
