We lived in a 90 year old Hyde Park home on a busy street with hardly enough space for our growing family. We were very skeptical about listing the home because we hadn't lived there but a few years, and were unsure of how we would fare financially. We called Team Synergi out to discuss our options. Jen came out and went over her marketing plan and pricing strategy to sell the home quickly and for top dollar. Boy was she on target. We went forward and listed the home and no sooner than a week later did we have multiple offers on the house. Ultimately, we were able to negotiate a deal for more than our listing price! We never even considered this was a possibility, and were absolutely delighted with the results delivered by Team Synergi.

I can't even count how many times they've changed residential managers here since we've moved here…read more The previous managers were professional and helpful. the current manager now BETH she's is horrible, unprofessional, and will hung up on you if she's not in the mood to hear what resident has a complaint about. Horrible customer service. It takes them forever to get something fixed, previous property management was a lot quicker to respond. The ackermann group that took over just likes to take their time on maintenance requests. I mean, I would understand if the customer service is terrible if we live in a cheap apartment, but come on, the price you pay to live here is most people monthly mortgage and they still treat you like you shit. The exterior of the property is nice, but inside is outdated and cheap. you can find a nicer apartment for the amount of money you are going to to pay in here. nearby apartments in the area even have granite counter tops, wooden cabinets, tiled bathroom ,and also has a garage like this one offers and for almost the same price. This apartment offers vaulted ceiling but its POORLY built, our ceiling leaks sometimes when its a heavy storm. and you can see some water damage on the ceiling itself. The windows are 1 pane only and can make your electricity bill be so high. The rooms upstairs stays about 80 degree all year long no matter what setting you have on the AC, their hvac system is so outdated that it cannot accommodate tall ceilings. Rent goes up every year. the location of this property is the only thing I like about it, but If I had only done my research before we moved in here, I would have not moved here at all.

Current board is dominated by elderly board members who have no vision for future, little energy to make it all it could and should be and management could be far better, that is the downside. The upside is the winds of change are blowing and the old entrenched board who like some professional athletes don't know when to retire will be swept away either through the election process or because of the aging process. Time marches on and many of the board members are elderly some would say frail. If you are a perspective buyer don't look at these comments as a negative the time to buy is now the board and management will change for the better over time. The amenities that come with the property are very nice. The gym is 2 level with a studio and equipment I have not seen at other complexes. The decor is absolutely beautiful in all areas! They did a great job with taking their time to make this a comfortable place to relax or hang out in. We also have a resident get together every few months, which is a nice attempt to get the community together. The upgrades in the apartments are great and have a very clean look. I also love the fact that we have our own parking garages attached to each building and valet trash pick up. The cons I have are at times (rare times), if I am standing in the restroom area, I can hear my neighbors talking in their restroom. It sounds like muffled sounds rather than being loud enough to hear a full conversation. Also, the garage door in building D has always been an issue. When it breaks, it is broken for days at a time, which can lead to people who are not residents entering the building. The fire pits are also often not working. This would have been great since we had good weather well into late October and some of November, but they often would not light up. Overall, I am satisfied with my experience at Savoy. In my opinion, the cons do not come close to outweighing the pros. It's a very nice place to live.

I voiced my concerns to the management team both times my packages were stolen and they did not take it seriously, in fact they made it like it was my fault or immediately told me it was likely the delivery driver who stole it. When I initially alerted them with the first theft, the manager stated she would get back with me once she reviewed the footage, she did not. I followed up and she quickly made it seem like it wasn't something she was concerned with. The second package theft they stated they looked through 48 hours worth of surveillance, which is unlikely to do in the 45 minutes from when my complaint was received by their office to when they emailed stating they had reviewed all the footage. They suggested that I should have my packages sent to the UPS store across the street. When asked if they could at minimum put up signage stating there was video surveillance to potential deter theft, he told me "they just take them down" Overall, this is an environment where residents concerns are not taken seriously and instead made to feel inferior for even asking for assistance. Theft is occurring here and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I've read other google review with the same complaint from a year ago.
