I've worked with Amy and her team across three real estate transactions and she has consistently gone above and beyond expectations every time. The Cincinnati real estate market is pretty challenging right now and Amy has adjusted her processes to give buyers the best chance at winning a home with limited inventory on the market. Not only is she an expert in the Cincinnati real estate market having lived and worked in the area for a number of years, but she has built an excellent reputation with realtors here as well. Case in point, due to her excellent advice and relationships, we were able to make a winning bid on a home in a multiple offer situation even though we weren't the highest bidder. Amy has an excellent support team, from loan specialists, inspectors, and title agency. Everyone we have dealt with has been super communicative, eager to answer questions and all working together to support a quick closing that the seller was working for. I would have no hesitation referring Amy to anyone looking to buy or sell in the Cincinnati area. Amy is the BEST! read more

Selling a home from out of state can be incredibly stressful, but working with Amy made the entire process smooth, professional, and even enjoyable. Amy helped us sell my Mom's home while we were managing everything remotely, and we couldn't be more grateful. From day one, Amy was communicative, organized, and proactive. Amy handled every detail--from coordinating removing items, cleaning and anything else that came up to managing showings and paperwork--with efficiency and care. We always felt like the home was in great hands, even though we were hundreds of miles away. Thanks to Amy's deep knowledge of the local market and expert guidance, we received multiple strong offers and were able to close quickly and smoothly. What could have been a complicated, stressful experience turned out to be seamless. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, responsive, and genuinely dedicated to their clients, I highly recommend Amy. Amy went above and beyond in every way. read more

Amy was an absolute joy to partner with on selling our home. In today's market we weren't sure we even needed an agent but after meeting with Amy and hearing her unique and creative ways of listing a home I knew we needed her in our court. Having bought and sold now four homes we were exceptionally pleased with how responsive, attentive and professional Amy and her team were. They truly went above and beyond a "transaction" and if I had more houses to sell I would certainly call Amy again. Highly recommend to anyone looking to buy or sell. Even in today's crazy market you don't want to go it alone! An investment worth every penny! read more

My husband and I recently worked with Amy to buy our new house in the Anderson area and it was such a smooth and fun process! Amy is so knowledgeable and professional - not to mention incredibly proactive and in tune to the Anderson real estate market. We had been looking for three years prior to getting in touch with Amy, and doubted a bit when during our intro call she said she thought we could find something by the end of the year. Lo and behold we were moving into our new house within two months! Amy made us feel confident and comfortable throughout the whole buying process, answering all our questions, connecting us with reliable vendors, and coaching us through writing our first offer - which was accepted! Amy was also there for us when we were ready to sell our former home, going above and beyond to ensure it was in the best possible condition and we were able to get the best possible deal. Navigating the market as we worked to sell our home, Amy continued to make us feel at ease during what was a stressful and exciting time. I have to say my absolute favorite thing about Amy is how much she loves her work and cares about Anderson and its residents. From supporting local restaurants and shops, being an active member of various boards, and a staunch supporter for our local schools, Amy is truly committed to building a vibrant and loving community. I would definitely recommend anyone who is selling, buying, or planning to in the future - reach out to Amy B! read more

Be careful what you sign, this lady is a shark! I wanted to buy a house in Anderson, which is a suburb of Cincinnati. I live out of state and looked online to find a realtor, which seemed like a sensible plan. I found Amy and her Team. I gave Amy a call and she referred me to her "Buyer's Rep", since Amy only deals with sellers, not buyers. I explained the type of house I was looking for, and the rep asked me to sign a Buyer's Loyalty Agreement before she could send me any listings. There was nothing alarming in the agreement, so I signed it. The agreement mentioned that if I purchased a house directly from a For Sale by Owner, I could be responsible for Amy's 3% commission. I had no problem with that. Three months later, I called the Rep to arrange to tour properties in person. I gave her two weeks' notice before my planned trip, hoping to see Open Houses with her on the first Sunday I would be in town. I was arriving on a Saturday evening specifically so I could tour on a Sunday. When I called the Rep to confirm everything the week before my trip, she informed me that, for some mysterious reason, she would not be able to show me any properties on Sunday, but that she would take me out on Monday. (And by the way, the Rep never returned my phone calls the same day, she always returned them one or even two days later.) I told her this was fine (just trying to be polite), but asked it she could at least give me a list of Open Houses so I could take myself on a tour that Sunday. She responded that she was not able to generate such a list from her company's data base (Keller Williams), so she referred me to her competitor's website (Sibcy Cline). On that website, which was easy to navigate, I saw many fine listings. (After driving around town, I finally realized that Sibcy Cline has virtually all of the listings in Anderson, and that Keller Williams had none. Which made me wonder why I had hooked up with Amy and her Team in the first place. I guess that can happen to out-of-towners.) The Rep did take me out on that Monday and promised to give me a call the next day so that we could plot out our "strategy", whatever that meant. (She never called me again. Ever.) To get to the point of this story: I found a house on my own that Sunday, with no help from Amy's team, and made a successful offer. As soon as my offer was accepted, I left a message for the Rep, thanking her for her time and letting her know I had found something on my own so she didn't need to put any more time into her search on my behalf. That same evening, I got an email from Amy (who was on vacation in Chicago, but somehow had time for this matter), attaching the "Loyalty agreement" I had signed three months earlier, and insisting that I had a financial obligation to her, even though I found the house on my own, and even though I did not purchase a For Sale By Owner. I had a long conversation with Amy to explain my side of the story, but she would not take no for an answer. She lectured me about not living up to my "commitment" and gulit-tripped me about how much time she and her Team had put into finding a house for me, and insisted that they be compensated for their time. We ended up resolving this dispute by having the listing agent (of the house I bought) cover part of Amy's commission, but Amy did everything she could to make me feel horrible and guilty, as a customer. She made it clear that money is the only thing that matters to her, not happy customers. Yes, I signed a Loyalty Agreement, but when the time finally came to look at properties, I was not feeling very loyal to someone who referred me to a competitor's website and sent me off on my own hunt on a Sunday afternoon. Why would I feel loyal to someone who is not even loyal to her own company? (Actually, I completely forgot that I signed the darned thing three months ago!) By her argument, if I shopped for cars, I would owe a commission to each and every sales person who showed me a car, whether or not I purchased from them. Everyone knows that realtors are not compensated based on how much time they spend working, but only if they are successful in securing or selling a property. The only thing that counts to receive a paycheck is the end result, not the effort. But building relationships is an important part of being a realtor, and being gracious and humble is also very nice. Amy doesn't seem to get this. Frankly, I think Cincinnati has many better agents to choose from than Amy Broghamer and her Team. read more

We have used Amy B Sells multiple times over the years to buy and sell homes and most recently in January 2022. Amy and Jenny are true professionals that know how to navigate the ever changing and often chaotic real estate market. They are totally transparent through the entire process, establish all expectations upfront, and go above and beyond to get the transaction completed. Their numerous years of experience and pragmatic approach has resulted in us having many successful and extremely smooth home buying/selling experiences and we are forever grateful. While we no longer live in the Cincinnati area, we highly recommend AmyBSells to anyone. read more

She is always professional and willing to help. Her no-nonsense process for selling our house was strict but well-thought-out. I appreciate the subject-matter expertise she brought to selling our house. We very much appreciated the outcome. Thanks Amy. read more

Amy B was simply amazing! My husband and I needed to buy a house in a short period of time before he started his residency in Cincinnati. We were living in NY and had to navigate buying a home in a city we were unfamiliar with during a pandemic. Amy really saved us. She did virtual walkthroughs with us, gave recommendations for any services we needed and made all arrangements. She made a nerve-racking process easy and seamless. Amy went above and beyond for us during a difficult time and we couldn't be happier with the home she helped us get! read more

I worked with Jenny to purchase my home in Cincinnati and she was incredible to work with. She was warm, kind, and incredibly intelligent. Being a first time home buyer, and single woman, I didn't have a lot of experience or knowledge of what to look for, what questions to ask, and Jenny was very thorough and patient with me throughout the process. I was also looking at primarily older homes in the Northside neighborhood and she was able to offer a lot of advice at each home we looked at. She was also very prompt to respond to me emails and texts and set up showings quickly. I'd recommend Jenny to anyone looking to buy a house in the Cincinnati area. read more

My wife and I closed on our home about a day prior to Ohio's Shelter-at-Home order. No better time to make huge life decisions then in the middle of a pandemic, right?! Thank goodness we had Jenny Van Kirk as our agent and the amazing crew at Amy B Sells to work with. Jenny was really a dream to work with, she understood exactly what we were looking for and constantly kept us engaged and focused. She gave great recommendations, and knows the city and her market well. When we toured houses she was really great at spotting all of the potential pros and cons of each place, many things that we wouldn't have even considered. She stopped us from settling when it took us some time to find what we were looking for, and helped us keep our heads when nothing seemed to be on the market. When our ideal house did hit the market, she really shifted into high gear. Not only did she quickly help us navigate a competitive bidding process, it was many of her recommendations and her negotiating that ultimately helped us land just the house we were looking for! We were almost forced to spend our quarantine time in our old house, but instead Jenny and her team helped us sign and close just in time. So instead we've had about 6 weeks working from home to get settled in our new place! My wife and I are forever grateful to Jenny and the team at Amy B Sells. Home buying is always a whirlwind of a process, but there's no one else I'd want as a partner than Jenny. read more

We reached out to Jenny on March 31, 2020 for help purchasing our first home. Not only were we first-time homebuyers, we were also on a very tight timeline, new to the Cincinnati area, and began our home search during the height of the COVID-19 public health crisis. The circumstances were certainly not ideal, but Jenny went above and beyond to make our first home buying experience as seamless and informative as possible. Jenny worked tirelessly to help us find a place in less than a month and a half!! We initially reached out on March 31st and closed on our new home on May 15th. Throughout the process, Jenny made herself available at nearly all hours of the day to accommodate socially-distanced home showings and answer all of our questions. She took the time to get to know us, learn about our preferences, and help us narrow our options, and she did all of this quickly enough to meet our desired closing date. She was patient with us and helped us through a difficult and extensive negotiation process, resulting in a great deal on our first home. We felt very taken care of by Jenny. She took us under her wing and devoted time to get to know us, despite the circumstances. The extra time and energy she invested helped us find the perfect home for us at a very reasonable price! Along the way, she helped us to understand the behind-the-scenes processes so we will feel more informed next time we purchase a house. We have nothing but great things to say about Jenny and Amy and plan to recommend Amy B to any friends who plan to buy or sell a home in Cincinnati. Thank you, Jenny and Amy!! read more

Whenever people ask me if I know a good realtor, I tell them no -- I know a GREAT realtor! The AmyBSells Team sold our house in 2010 for 100% of asking price in 2 days. They also moved us into our next house, smoothly and on time, with no temporary housing. Amy Broghamer took her time with us, educating us about our market (Deer Park), giving us honest advice about pricing, and referring us to a rockin' staging expert to get our house ready to sell. She did everything she could (and advised us on what we could do) to help us sell quickly. We were able to get the most money possible for the sale, and had excellent communication back and forth throughout the process. I referred my elderly great aunt to the AmyBSells team when she was ready to sell in Mt. Washington (later in 2010). She had a similar positive experience, from beginning to end. She was able to sell quickly for a good price and move into her new retirement community. read more

I had originally reached out because my wife and I were relocating from California and we had worked with a less than adequate real estate agent in the weeks prior. Jenny responded to my inquiry extremely fast, and I told her the three things I was looking for in an agent: knowledge, responsiveness and urgency. Jenny completely blew us away with her positive and professional demeanor from the beginning. She outlined the process very clearly and was incredibly thorough and thoughtful throughout the entire experience. As an anxious couple trying to find the perfect home in a very different part of the country, we were also met with a great deal of patience and understanding. I'm not a big yelp reviewer but I found Jenny's group on yelp and had to recognize such above and beyond work. I really couldn't recommend them highly enough... Thank you for helping us find a home to start our family in, Jenny!! read more

My husband and I were referred to this team when we decided to sell our house and buy a new one. Off the bat we were impressed with the fact that Amy was honest with us in referring us to one of her colleagues to sell our condo downtown as that was more his core competency - that showed that she was geniune and not just looking for a sale or a quick buck. We did use her team to buy our new house though and I would not recommend anyone else to work with. Molly, our buyer, I cannot say enough great things about. Right from the beginning she took plenty of time to understand exactly what we were looking for and not looking for to be sure she could be as helpful as possible in our search. And again it was amazing how honest she was about areas that she could have easily said "oh this is a great street" only to find out after we bought the house that it was mostly renters or a busy cut-through or one of the other things we didn't want. She would rather look at 100 houses and find one that we were completely satisfied with than make a sale and move on to another client. Molly also made the process of buying a house relatively painless. We always knew exactly what was happening and when, or when we needed to be doing something and she was always willing to go the extra mile to help us get something we wanted or needed. We love our new house - and it has pretty much everything that was on our "must have" list from our first meeting with Molly. I couldn't recommend a better team to work with if you want a really smooth buying process. read more

My husband and I were first-time home buyers. We had a lot of questions, but Amy and Jenny were soooooo patient with us, even when we ran into lots of trouble with the first offer we wrote. They offered confident and professional advice. They were both prompt and extremely good at communicating with us throughout every stage of the process. They referred us to excellent professionals when needed. They helped us buy a solid home in the perfect neighborhood within our budget. I always felt like we were in good hands with AmyBSells, and we'd recommend them to anyone buying or selling a home in the Cincinnati region! read more

Where do I begin? I've worked with Amy and her team twice now in the past decade and have had wonderful experiences both times. She was my agent when I bought my first condo back in 2007 and did a wonderful job walking me through the process and truly keeping my interests and well-being as the priority. Amy ended up catching an error made by the seller's agent that saved me literally thousands of dollars over the course of my mortgage. Over the years I lived there Amy remained a trusted resource for anything I needed even remotely related to my condo. Of course I also confidently referred her to many people over the years (something I'm usually hesitant to do with decisions of this magnitude). When it came time to sell this condo nearly a decade later a lot had changed in my life, but my trust in Amy and her team had most certainly not! I was living out-of-state at the time and frankly didn't have a lot of energy or time to devote to selling it, so having someone I knew and trusted was paramount. She handled EVERYTHING for me: assessing what needed done in order to sell at top price, scheduling and handling every detail of said repairs, coordinating with a stager to make sure it showed at its absolute best, etc. I ended up selling it at a great price - during a time when that was NOT the case for many similar properties. We know that her attention to detail, experience, marketing, networking and professionalism played a huge role in this. Finally, the entire closing process was handled by the Amy B Sells Team without any stress (or much involvement) on my end. Thanks, Amy! read more

Great experience working with Amy and Jenny, we just moved from California and they made our transition so easy. We had a bad experience with a first realtor and we found her through Yelp and since the beginning Jenny was always available for us, answering all of our questions and giving us recommendations on where to buy. It was scary for us specially coming from a different state and moving to an unknown area, but they did their best to help us get the our dream house! We've been living here for 2 weeks now and we love it!! Couldn't have picked a better Realtor company. Thanks Jenny for all your hard work and thanks to Keller Williams for welcoming us to Ohio. We really appreciate it! read more

I've worked with Amy twice now in the last 10 years, as a buyer and a seller. I've also worked with a couple of other realtors over this same period (and previously) and can say with conviction that Amy's commitment, drive, tenacity, attention to detail and thorough, hands-on approach are very rare. Hence, I'm not surprised that she consistently ranks among the top performing brokers in the area. In addition to her competence and success with core realtor responsibilities; her lean-in, client-focused approach have been personally invaluable to me. Twice now, Amy and her team have made the real estate buying and selling process turn-key for me, which has been invaluable for enabling me to do what's needed to complete these transactions in tandem with other life and work duties. Two thumbs up all around for Amy and her team. I confidently recommend her team to anyone in the market for a realtor and won't hesitate to work with her again. read more

My husband and I recently purchased our first home using The Amy B Sells Team and her Lead Buyers agent, Jenny. Jenny met with us at the start to explain the process step-by-step and was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Although we were not her only client purchasing at the time, Amy's buying agent answered our calls and emails immediately, and was genuinely excited to help us with the purchase. It is no surprise that Amy B Sells Real Estate Team has an amazing track record of winning, as they are truly the best in Cincinnati. I am 100% confident that we would not have gotten the amazing home at the price that we did without Amy's determined and experienced sales team. Amy, Jenny, Terri and their other partners like the lender and inspector make everything predictable and smooth, we closed on time and were thrilled! I would recommend them to friends and family in a heartbeat! Thank you again for all of your help! read more

I had an amazing experience working with Amy and her Team. I am not experienced with buying and selling homes so I was very nervous about who I was going to be working with. Amy made me significantly less nervous about the experience and was able to help talk me through the process. Our initial meeting was to discuss what I was looking for and what my expectations were. She provided helpful materials and contacts of services that would assist with the entire process. Given how serious I was going into the process, we were able to work quickly and knock out everything on the list of tasks that helped me get into a home quickly in this incredibly competitive market. Believe it or not, I was able to acquire an accepted offer on my FIRST offer. It wouldn't have happened without her help in making sure I had all of the necessary boxes checked before making my first and only offer. Her years of experience and knowledge also eased my nerves when selling my house as she knew how to identify any red flags that may have come through on any offers for my previous home. Overall a great experience! read more

I never hesitate to refer the AmyBSells team because I know that 100%without a doubt Amy B will go above and beyond to help her clients. We actually had a longer relationship with Amy as she helped us understand and achieve financial goals with owning our second-home, our dream home. Working with Jenny and her team was a fantastic experience! I began the search for my first house during a time when the housing market was not favorable for buyers. Through the entire process Jenny was patient, understanding, and empathetic to my journey and experience. She was always positive and encouraging. As a first time buyer she was very thorough, detailed, and patient in explaining the process and answering my questions. She would always be my voice of reason and was conscience of not just the here and now with buying, but also long term with the selling potential. With every step of the process, Jenny went above and beyond. I was very confident in her and her team and trusted their guidance when needed. I will definitely use them again and encourage others to do so too! read more

My wife and I moved to Cincinnati in July 2017. We leased an apartment in Clermont County, and although we love Cincinnati, we have not enjoyed apartment living and we knew it was a temporary stay. After the birth of our second child, the apartment started to feel very small, and we knew it was time to start looking for a house. My wife researched realtors and found the Amy B team on Yelp. We connected with Jenny and knew immediately that she was the right person to help us find our dream home. We were not in a hurry to find a home, but we found a few we wanted to see and Jenny scheduled our showings immediately. We ended up placing an offer on the perfect home in Anderson Township on the second day of seeing houses. Jenny was as sweet as can be, readily available, and very knowledgeable. She advocated for our wants and needs and gave us advice when it was necessary. The Amy B team as a whole were shining stars. From emails with the utilities we needed to set up at the new house, to recommendations on movers, the team was resourceful from start to finish. We would recommend Amy and Jenny to anyone looking for a home in or around Cincinnati. read more

I rarely write reviews as I typically tell people how they did and prefer to give word of mouth referrals. However, this summer I had an amazing experience and I wanted to share with more than just the people I communicate with daily. We purchased a new home and were challenged with selling our home quickly. Amy Broghamer and her team were the most professional and proactive team I have ever worked with. From the first communication, to staging of our home, to the negation of sale and the closing process, Amy's team was there every step of the way. She achieved a price point that far exceeded our expectations. When we first contacted Amy, we were not sure when we were going to sell, but based on finding a home and acting quickly on our new home, it was paramount that we had already started the conversation with Amy and her team. If you know of anyone looking to sell or just interested in what is out there in the real estate market, I would highly suggest meeting with Amy and getting a better understanding as it is a great time to sell. Meeting with her when we did, not only got our house sold in 24 hours, but it also allowed us to get a considerable amount more than we anticipated. #AmyBSells #experiencesuccess read more

Picking a good realtor is something you want to get right the first time. When i picked Amy Broghamer, i knew she was the right one. we were in florida when we listed our Newport Ky home with Amy. Amy went right to work setting the price and making it easy to sign documents electronically. Amy hired a stager to come in and rearrange things to make it easier to appeal to a larger group of potential buyers. Amy handled all the details with the stager and painter. Amy provided storage boxes and took time to handle the details since we were out of town. She managed our property during our absence , ensuring contractors had access to complete the work needed. When the offers came in, she helped us navigate towards the best one for our situation and we used electronic signature software to quickly and easily sign the sales contract. Amy provides a really sharp service. I just never dreamed that the Amy B sales team were so much on the ball. we were happy from start to finish. i hope this helps others in their decision of hiring a realtor. read more
