Part of the AAdvantage dining network, we were staying at the Marriott within walking distance nearby (2 pluses). We started off sharing a house salad (10 bucks) & it was pretty small and just ok. I ordered the margherita pizza and it, too, was just ok (looked better than it tasted). I was not offered any red pepper flakes nor parm cheese. BFF ordered some pasta dish and he said his was excellent. My cousin ordered either a penne or rigatoni pasta dish but she did not comment on whether she liked it or not (I didn't ask, either). As for libations, I had a regular martini with vodka and vermouth and olives (I thought the description stated bleu cheese but they were regular). BFF ordered some type of specialty drink that the server recommended and he said it was good (cousin just had a regular iced tea). The restaurant itself is large and very beautiful inside (& clean, too). It was not crowded as it was very early (4pm). Not sure if I would be back tbh. I like trying new restaurants and unless they are a stand out, I usually could take it or leave it. read more

Waited 10 minutes before a hostess came out. Asked if we can do patio cause of pet. They put us out there, another person came out and said patio is off limit. They just left us there with menus, and none of the door works so we couldn't even get back in to look for a waiter. They left us outside for 20 minutes before we just left because literally WHAT IN THE FUCK? What a way to treat people who visit your town! Don't come to this place. I hate to leave negative reviews, but WOW what a mess of an experience that deserves one star. We are in town for the holidays & knew ahead of time we needed a place to have dinner on Christmas. I found this spot & called ahead a week in advanced to make a reservation. Our reservation was for 5pm & the resturant said it was open until 9pm. Upon arrival the resturant was busy which is understandable due to it being a holiday however the experience went down hill very fast. Food wise it took well over an hour to get our food. They had customers food sitting under the heat lamp for almost an hour, we saw a piece of what looked like fish barely under the lamp and it Sat there for 45 mins before being served to the person. When we finally received our food almost all of our dishes were cold. Some of the dishes they were serving to people in the resturant and to go orders weren't even where they were being kept warm, they were literally sitting on the desk/counter. Seeing as how almost nothing was open to being with and how late it had gotten, we just dealt with it. There were a ton of upset customers and not just us. They were telling TONS of people they were running out of almost everything and even when we left there were a lot of guests waiting to be seated & the manager was telling them he couldnt guarantee they were going to get food at all, there was still two hours until they were supposed to close.The steaks two people in our party ordered were not cooked properly, one wasn't cooked enough and the other was overcooked. The chicken in one of our dishes also wasn't 100% cooked all the way. Part of why we felt like the service was so bad and they ran out of so many things was also because they were filling online to go orders and it seemed like they were concentrating on those orders first before the guests already seated. I did have issues trying to call them on phone to ask about allergens. 27min wait before I gave up after they'd said they would check. But in person it was like 5min to check. Bad food and value. The shrimp appetizer was mushy and lacking a lot of sauce. Also they gave 12 mini shrimp. For the price of $20, you would expect more or higher quality. The lobster and shrimp scampi was tasteless. It had no salt, and also there were exactly 3 really small pieces of lobster and 6 mini shrimp. For $40, I would expect a little more seafood. They take you out by loading it with chunks of tomatoes that could look like seafood. Also look at the portion! This was a small to go box and they barely filled that a third of the way! The bread pudding was bad. They actually served the ice cream as just a melted pool of cream. It was literal soup served on the side. The chicken was covered in mushrooms, pounded flat, and also had little sauce on it making it also dry. There were no more than 25-30 people in this large restaurant, and our party was 15 of them. Lots of options to choose from we settled in with the Spaghetti Bolognese and Italian wedding soup and Pasta Bravo with Lobster Bisque. Wedding soup had good flavor while the bisque was rich & creamy. The bread that came out was nice and hot. The Bolognese sauce was good, with a mild flavor. The Pasta Bravo was flavorful. It had a thick vodka sauce, the chicken was most likely breast. It would have been dry without the sauce. For dessert we split the warm chocolate cake. A small piece topped with vanilla bean gelato. We finally tried this restaurant. The dining area is very elegant looking. Reminiscent of Italy. I had the chicken parm and it was very good, but a little over cooked on the chicken. My boyfriend had the Fra Diablo and he said it was excellent. It has campanella pasta with a spicy tomato cream sauce & lobster butter. The service was excellent and our waitress was friendly and attentive. And of course the Creme Brulee was to die for! Will definatdkt go back soon. Haven't been here in 3-5 years, but I could have written an almost identical review then: The bartender was charming, helpful & knows his stuff as a self-professed lover of bourbon, he made a killer old fashioned (skip the menu version, go for his). The artichoke/spinach dip was good, the bread was good too. But the calamari was TERRIBLE. How is it both under done on the outside (white batter, not crisp) yet also over done on the inside (rubber)? The entire dish was cold & the arrabbiatta sauce had no spice at all, the lemon aiol tasted only of mayo. I couldn't do it. But then, the restroom... the room stank, the floor was sticky, the trash was piled up. It was enough that I will definitely not go back for 3-5 years, unless it's for a drink alone. read more

She smiled and walked off. The manager approached and apologized regarding the issue. We moved on and that's it. We sat down around 1320ish. Order was taken at 1330ish. Drinks arrived at 1347. Even the manager was confused that we still didn't receive the drinks. The hostess moved some tables besides ours to accommodate more guests. Six of us came on a Friday @ 5 pm for Happy Hour which is typically served only in the bar area and patio. The hostess had to get permission for us to sit in these areas because there was only 1 bar tender. It was a warm day and the place was pretty busy. So I have to wonder 2 things: 1) why would there be only 1 bar tender on a Friday @ 5 pm? and 2) why would you even consider turning away people who want to spend any amount of money??? So my group was happy to be seated in the restaurant and not make a fuss -- but then a smart manager decided to give us 'special dispensation on a one-time basis) to order from the Happy Hour menu from our table -- SCORE 1 point for that manager!! Our server was a young woman who was very sweet and accommodating. We all ordered drinks (they were slow to arrive) and the white wine was not quite chilled enough but we were happy to be served at all. The food items were good - not great but good. One person ordered a pizza (not off the HH menu) and it was only cheese but he did not care for it so he decided to take it home for the grand kids to snack on later. I got the Bravo burger and fries. The burger was plain - no lettuce or tomato or condiments. Our server never came back to ask if we wanted a second cocktail. Went to Brunch Sunday after Valentines day at 11:45 AM. Bravo opens at 11:30 AM. Sat at the bar. B ar Tender was responsible for making drinks, waiting tables, and serving food at the bar, she did a great job considering her responsibilities. The bad part; Coffee and Water came at 12:00 noon, 30 minutes after opening., No condiments at the Bar, Wife order Eggs Benedict, No Hollandaise sauce, Poached were card as rocks, When Hollandaise finally came it was just light yellow water. Fodd was worse than awful. The restaurant was filthy, used napkins under tables, food and debris on the floors, Restroom were not acceptable. Bravo is a beautiful restaurant, but maintianace is bad. It took us more than a hour to be served breakfast and we were only 2 of four customers at the bar. Beware we will never be aBravo Customers again. read more

Very disappointed with our waiter, his attitude from the 1st encounter. Very dismissive with,our table of 5 women. First interaction, " selective hearing ", not funny. I've been a server and the attitude we encountered was not appreciated. Never came to see how our meals were, had to ask for more water, and combative when we mentioned the stunning price for a glass of house wine. We all understand that it was busy, not enough staff, but we rarely saw Julian other than at the next table but did not interact with us until time for the tickets. So disappointed, this is the 1st time I have experienced sorry service at Bravo in at least 10 years of happy hour, lunch or dinner. Will definitely think twice about coming back. I've always loved the food and atmosphere at Bravo. But this time we came for a friends birthday. We were seated at a booth which was different than the tables. The tables had nice clean white table cloths on them BUT the booth tables were old and worn - not nice at all which were depressing. We each had a drink before dinner and my Cosmo was pretty good. Then we got a cup of their Lobster bisque which was very good. The bread basket only had 3 rolls for the dipping sauce. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi w pasta. My friend ordered something called Pasta Woozie? I expected that wonderful garlic flavor to make the pasta go Wow with the shrimp but it was bland. Not flavorful at all like you'd expect of Shrimp Scampi. The pasta Woozie seemed ok. We finished w the Tiramisu for desert which was good. I found the meal to be Mehhh compared to other times I'd been there. Hopefully it was just an off night w the Pasta Scampi pasta but I don't believe I'll order it again. This was once a well managed operation but I've definitely seen it deteriorate over the last couple of years. Today, for example (Sunday), we arrived for lunch at around 12.30. A host was not present to greet anyone, but since we wanted to eat in the bar area anyway, we sat ourselves. Two other woment were present in that area. After a few minutes, I got up to retrieve a couple of menus from the host station since none of the workers were manning the bar area (the host station was still not staffed, by the way). I figured staff would show up any minute in the bar area. After reading the menu and chatting with my friend for several minutes, we realized that nobody was going to show up to serve us, so we got up to leave. That's when the two others in the bar area said, "Are you giving up? If so, we don't blame you because we sat here forever before someone acknowledged us and brought us a cup of coffee." We've had several restaurant closings in this town over the last year, and honestly it doesn't suprirse me. Service as we once knew it no longer exists. I predict that this place will close in the next 12-18 months if this keeps up. Sad. read more

I made an online order for 2 today.  I walked in and there was no one, no hostess, no workers around.  I saw two ladies sitting by the door and I asked if they had been helped and they said no.  One of the ladies said she had been waiting for 15 minutes and no one had helped her.  I waited for maybe 5 more minutes and decided to walk in the restaurant to find someone.  I saw maybe only 3 tables of people eating out of the whole restaurant.  I walked closer to the kitchen area and still no workers.  I see the cooks and that's it.  They see me but don't say anything. I see a line of orders all sitting on the counter. I finally tracked a bartender down who is serving a man at the bar, she walked in from the back i'm guessing. She said that the hostess is somewhere and he will be right with me.  I see a guy pop up from a bread station.  He was eating.  He walked over to my area after about 2 minutes of staring at him. He didn't ask me if I had been helped.  I then said excuse me, can you help?  He waved me off and said  are you here for a to go order. I said yes and I gave my name.  He pointed at my bag of food that was already wrapped up and looked good to go. "oh it's right here. " He told me to go to the front and he would be there to help me.  WHAT!?!  I went to the front and here he comes and helps the two ladies that were waiting and then helped a man take a togo that got there after me to order and then still didn't acknowledge me.  I waited another 5 minutes and he walked back up and took payment from the guy who just ordered and then walked away again.  I went to the bartender and asked her for help.  I let her know my name and that my order was to go by 2pm.  She apologized and said ill get it for you.  Sure enough she grabbed it, just as it was before when I saw it. and gave it to me.  CJ then walked over and mumbled something to her and walked away.  The bartender told me she was sorry and told me his name "CJ"again and said that my food has been ready and that CJ is always rude.  I am so frustrated. i got there at 2 nd walked out after 2:30 I called minutes later to speak to a manager and CJ answered.  I asked to speak to a Manager and he said they were in meetings all day.  I asked who teh manager was? CJ said why?  This guy is extremely unprofessional.   He yelled at me and said he was only doing his job and began to yell at me on the phone and I hung up.  I would really like a call back or email from someone.  I fear he spit in my food. something worse.  He was incredibly disrespectful and should be far from customer service and far from the food industry. He is unkind and disrespectful.   He is the hostess and sets the tone for every customer.  That's unbelievable for him to act that way. My food was cold and dry. I don't normally leave a bad review, but this place was absolutely terrible. Almost every single thing was wrong. First I ordered a hot drink that was supposed to have whipped cream not only did it come without whipped cream, it was room temperature. They were out of several menu items. The Caesar's salad had almost no dressing and the entree size was the same size as the side salad just more expensive. It seems the food sat under the heating lamp for a long period of time. When the soup got here, it had a thick skin on it and the pasta Alfredo was hard as a rock. Also, the entrée spaghetti and meatballs was the exact same size as the kids spaghetti and meatballs just more expensive and the kids spaghetti and meatballs even had one more meatball. Dec. 19 th, Brava had a notice from the city on it's closed doors. There was a handwritten note explaining the water heater didn't work. Upon further investigation, Brava was shut down about a year ago for roach infestation. I image if you simply fix a broken water heater, the city doesn't shut the place down. read more

I came here for an early dinner, and of course it's that time of year when it gets dark pretty early. I have to say the outside is pretty dark and given that some of the places nearby had closed I was a bit concerned it was gone too! We get the calamari appetizer which was delicious and just the right amount of crispy. It was a nice sized plate for an appetizer. I also ordered the shrimp fra diavolo. There were a good amount of red pepper flakes in it to bring the heat, definitely not for the feint of heart! The pasta was perfectly done. I was a bit disappointed at the amount of shrimp in the dish, it was pretty overwhelmed by the pasta, thus one less star. It was quite good though. The tiramisu dessert was also excellent and all for a pretty reasonable price for a somewhat fancy dinner. Our server was excellent. Checking on us frequently, refilling the water glasses and happy to give us recommendations. She knew the menu very well and had good recommendations based on our questions and preferences. read more
