H&A Auto Body - Before repairs

    H&A Auto Body

    (9 reviews)

After comparing estimates from multiple shops, H&A Autobody provided the most competitive quote,…read moreexceptional service, and attention to detail. The team at H&A is courteous, communicative, and efficient. Here are the complete repair estimates I received from three local autobody shops, including tax: * H&A Autobody LLC: $5,085.56 * Special Interest Autobody: $5,894.21 * Caliber Collision: $6,595.23 OEM parts were the largest cost driver since the liftgate on the 2025 KIA Carnival required full replacement due to internal structural damage. Before choosing a repair facility, I contacted the local KIA dealership to ask about obtaining OEM parts for my 2025 KIA Carnival with the goal to reduce costs for the repair. There are many websites online that claim to offer lower prices for large replacement OEM parts, but these prices rarely hold up once you reach the shipping step. Freight delivery for items such as bumpers or liftgates often adds significant cost, which brings the total right back to what a reputable shop would pay through official suppliers. During my conversation with the dealership, they spoke favorably about the way H&A Autobody handles parts deliveries, noting that the owner personally inspects the quality of the parts before the supplier's driver leaves. While they were not making a recommendation, their positive comments about H&A's attention to detail gave me additional confidence in choosing them for the repair. Parts pricing, excluding paint materials such as paint, came in as follows: * H&A Autobody LLC: $2,547.24 * Special Interest Autobody: $2,675.68 * Caliber Collision: $2,808.37 The estimator working at the front desk was professional, clear, and helpful throughout the process. I also met the owner, who has an engineering background and previously worked in aviation maintenance before following his passion for automotive work. This background lends itself to meticulous attention to detail which is reflected in the shop's workmanship and processes. There were no surprise charges, no attempts to add repair work. The only additional cost was for the single use clips required to properly reinstall the panels. Even then, the team expedited delivery, and the estimator personally picked up the parts from the local KIA dealer to ensure the repair was completed on the promised timeline. The remaining price differences came primarily from hourly labor costs at $75/hour at H&A, $78/hour at Caliber Collision, and $85/hour at Special Interest Autobody, as well as additional miscellaneous charges at the other shops. These charges included pre and post repair scans, certain disposal fees, and test drives. H&A performs all of these steps but does not charge extra for them passing the savings onto the customer. While I hope I do not need collision repair again, I would not hesitate to return, and I will be recommending them to anyone seeking fair pricing and high-quality workmanship.

I am looking for an autobody shop to do work on my 2015 Golf R. I heard some people have had great…read moreexperience with this shop. The last autobody shop, a Fix Auto location, did a terrible job on my car. Over spray on rims, paint cracking later on...over spray on my hatch gas shock. They didn't mask off at all and the bondo work was terrible! Top Tier Autobody, from people I know, does not cut corners or do poor work. They take pride in doing an excellent job on repairing your vehicle and I heard they warranty it as well. After my husband had a great experience here, I felt compelled to write a good review because I am currently having to go back to a fix auto location because their repair job is cracking! Go to Top Tier, avoid the headache of other autobody shops doing bad work. Top tier has competitive pricing and not only does the owner know his stuff with cars, the receptionist is a car enthusiast herself. Their passion shows in their work. And if you pay out of pocket, they won't rip you off either. I know from the experience of people I know. And I give this shoutout because I wish someone would have recommended me a shop before I went to the wrong one.

I had an issue with my 2014 Mustang GT500 where the rear tires being very wide rubbed on the inside…read moreof my fenders to the point of melting and chipping the paint off of the edges. It happened due to four people in the car with luggage and the car being too lowered. I was recommended Top Tier from my go-to mechanic shop, Top Spec, and I got a quote from them as well as quotes from other autobody shops. Not only was top-tier competitive with their pricing, they were half the price of Absolute Autobody. And they even painted and installed a pair of Ford OEM side scoops I got from the dealership a couple months ago. I had decided that I wanted to have them installed at the same time as my fenders that I was getting repaired. So not only was Top Tier more competitive with their pricing, they included the side scoop install with the repair and did a wonderful job on my car. The color of my car is a ruby red metallic with a tinted clear coat. It is a tri-coat color. And one of the harder ones to paint match. Top Tier had no problem doing a superb job making sure the repaired areas matched well. Becca at the front desk was very communicative. And Connor, who did the walk around with my car gave me an excellent explanation of the process that they were going to do to repair the vehicle. They are friendly and they have a nice waiting room that is much more accommodating than the Fix Auto Autobody locations and other autobody shops I have been too. They also just added onto their current building and the business is expanding and becoming a very capable facility to take on any repair needs you have. Whether you're looking to spice up your car or get a collision repair, Top Tier will take care of you and if you're paying out of the pocket like I did, they won't break the bank like some autobody shops will. I will be back. I'm so happy to have found my autobody shop of choice. Being from San Diego when I moved up here a year ago and needed to get a clutch installed on my Mustang, I went around to six different shops, getting quotes trying to figure out the best mechanic to go to. I do my research with shops because I'm a car enthusiast with more than one vehicle. From my research, Top Tier is one of, if not the best option, in the Everett/Seattle area to go to for collision repair or giving your vehicle a new look!

I had work done in my car last year, 2023. My Honda pilot was rear ended during a hit-and-run so…read morethe back was pretty smashed up. My service started out great, with a great advisor. Some of the parts needed to repair my car Were on back order, the advisor. I had said he would release the car back to me until the parts came available and then I could bring my car to finish the rest of the back bumper. This worked out great for me as I wouldn't have to have a rental car for too long. I dropped my car off at the end of June to begin the work, and I picked it up about two weeks later. This was the time that I was waiting for the last piece of my bumper to come in. A couple months go by and I hadn't heard anything from the advisor. So I decided to give caliber a call and the advisor that was working with me had moved to another location and the priority of my car got pushed to the side. It was a little frustrating, but I understood and had them schedule me in once the part came available. About a month and a half later I went in and caliber put the last piece on only to realize there was a shiny bottom lip part that was still missing. I ended up waiting another month to get it fixed. During all the months that my car was in and out of the shop, my car sensors were not working. Anytime I would hit the sensor button. It would keep screaming. I figured this was because it didn't have all the bumper pieces on it. So I got used to not using the sensors. I reached out months later, as I noticed that the sensors were not working still, and the bumper repairs were all done. When I called the Everett location. I spoke with the woman who is very rushed on the phone. I told her she could call me when she wasn't busy and gave her my phone number along with my information related to the car claim. no one ever called me back. For all the time that I patiently waited to get my car repaired, you would think they would have the decency to give me a call back. While the work was good, the service not so much. And the time it takes to get work done and the back-and-forth isn't really worth working with them. I went to a caliber close to my house to get this issue repaired and it's been a nightmare of runaround once again so I can consistently say I think it's the business itself doesn't put priority on cisor back up their own work. NO ONE FROM THE EVERETT LOCATION HAS CALLED ME BACK
