We've lived in the area for 10 years and have frequented this location since it's opening, however lately the food has been too salty. The last time I even got a burnt burger and I called to speak with the manager and wasn't even offer anything for the Terrible food except an apology and to come back next time. This will be my last visit to this location. After having started in the food industry and working in several kitchens customers have so many options that the least you can do is put your money where your mouth is. I go to Braum's in Murphy all the time. Went today and had the worst experience I have ever had at a fast food joint. My cousins and I went today for a quick ice cream run and around 6+ workers were behind the counter - not a single one had a smile on their face or greeted us at all. Many of the ice cream flavors wanted were missing as well. After getting our food and sitting at a table, we found a piece of hair in an ice cream. Also, my sister ordered a strawberry shake which had some white substance in it that tasted bitter and gross. We threw everything away and left. read more

Never eating inside again. The dining room was filthy @ 3:30pm. Sticky booths/tables, dirty floors, the soda fountain didn't look like it had been wiped down in ages bc the syrup had dried into goo in some spots and white smears all over the walls! It looked like someone tried to clean it, but used a dirty rag or dirty water?! My son wanted to use the bathroom before we left, but I told him "No way! Hold it." It was so bad, I'm actually thinking of calling their corporate office to let them know how awful the conditions were. read more

If I could give this a negative 10 stars I would. Whoever was working the drive thru tonight was RUDE! First I waited in the line for about 20 minutes and when I pulled up to the speaker she asked me to hold. I did for about 3 minutes, throughout the order she sounded like she didn't want to be there and had an attitude. As i got my order from her she never once said thank you. We didn't receive napkins so I waited for her to come back to the window, when she did she just opened it and looked at me, didn't ask what I needed and when I asked her for napkins she rolled her eyes and handed them to me. I told her she should stop with the attitude and as I was driving off she opened up the window and yelled, "what!?". Whoever this "little girl" was at the window needs to learn some customer service. This place has gotten dirtier and dirtier the more I go. The tables are always dirty, the seats are always dirty, the floors are always dirty, and none of the multiple employees do ANYTHING to make sure the place is sanitary. Who knows how sanitary the cooking area is if the actual restaurant is so filthy. It has recently gotten even worse and I've started losing my appetite every time I go there. If something is not done about this soon I will directly complain to the health department. read more

We had never been into a Braum's before and our visit was a pleasant surprise. We had the small grandkids with us and were looking for a quick afternoon treat. This is the perfect place. Very clean, reasonable prices with excellent choices and best of all the young folks behind the counter are well trained and friendly. This was our first time, but nit out last! read more

Worst braums I have EVER been to. I have been several times since it I opened. The Icecream is ALWAYS melted, and they NEVER get your order right and the ice cream cones always break. I'd recommend going to the one off 78 or in plano. Really sad that this braums doesn't have it together, yes it may be new but all the more reason the experience and product should be better. The customer service is terrible. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Hopefully new management will come in and fix it soon or business is doomed. read more

We went to Braum's only because it was newly opened and really close to where we stay. It was extremely crowded and noisy so honestly we didn't (or couldn't) buy anything the first time. We went in again later in the day and managed to get burgers and fries since we realized that the long line was for ice cream and not for food. It was pretty good for the price. We went in again the next day to get ice cream, it was still crowded and noisy. I got a pralines and cream single scoop cone. I could barely hear myself shouting and gesturing over the counter because it was so noisy. We didn't get a table to sit at so we decided to take our ice creams to the car. It was the ice cream that made me write this review. It was really creamy and there were lots of delicious praline bits. I think the warmth outside made the cool ice cream taste even better. My husband loved his sundae too. And did I mention we got 2 sundaes and a single scoop cone for a little over 5 dollars? Judging by their ice cream, that's a pretty good bargain I'd say. I am writing to update. It was a huge mess as prior explained and want to tell you they have changed. It is so much better with their cleaning of the place. Had friends stop in and tell me the same, it is fine. No one is perfect, I just want a place to take my kids too that I don't have to look at the seats to make sure they are clean. Braum's is what it is and has always been. Nothing fancy and mostly run by teenagers. It is not always the cleanest place but it is pretty good with nice burgers and lots of good ice cream flavors. I've been to this location about 4 times without any problems. read more

I've been to this place several times since it has opened. I stopped going at night because it is always packed, understaffed and dirty . You can tell the employees don't have each other's back , the young kids seem to get annoyed with the adults working there . Today since in was raining my kids wanted ice cream but did not want to get down to eat , so the only drive thru place near me is this or sonic . We went to Braum's I ordered my kids cheeseburger plain and dry . My son is like mommy I want ketchup on mine , I corrected my order to the young lady in the drive thru . She quickly changed the tone to annoyed ! She said They come with ketchup! I'm like oh in that case let me make sure one is just meat and cheese . I proceeded to give her my order she sounded annoyed and overwhelmed. Got to the window gave her cash because well I lost my card. She gives me the change back in a manner that most of my change fell on the floor , did not apologize or anything. Ok I'm not upset over a few cents , she gave me one of my sons ice cream again the way she handed it most of it landed on the floor . Okay let me call up there to see who I can talk to because she seems to be having lots of issues the lady next to her seems to be a supervisor of some sort , but not giving her any pointers or apologizing. I called up there spoke to the store GM who quickly got defensive repeating to me she is only 15 , which I reiterated to her I know she seems young that's why I did not give her the opportunities I'm giving them to you so you can coach her in a manner she can actually understand she totally was defensive blowing me off . This location has been open for a while now and they can't seem to get things going inside. The tables are always filthy. We've given them many chances but will not eat inside ever again. It's probably just a management issue of not enough teenager workers or poor training. The quality of the food is as good as Braum's always is but I can't tolerate the nasty dining room anymore. read more

Honestly this place doesn't even deserve one star. They charged me twice then didn't refund me my order so now I have to go back. Not only was the lobby full, the drive thru was wrapped around the building. The employees were just laughing and not #1 giving me my money back but #2 holding my ice cream while it melted. This was the first Braums in my area which led me to try it for the first time and I do not regret it. It's a great place to just go hang out with your friends or family and enjoy some delicious dessert. Clearly I'm not the only one who agrees with this considering it is always packed with families, sports teams, couples, and friends. I have brought my cousins and friends here after a long day and they have all enjoyed the experience. There is a nice selection of different ice cream flavors, shakes, and smoothies. My favorite flavor of ice cream is cookies n' cream, I would surely recommend it to anyone who is unfamiliar with the place. Personally I have not dug into the food menu but there is a decent sized menu which is great fast food service at cheap prices. Not only is their food and ice cream great, but it has brought a quality grocer to the area. The building doubles as a grocery store which brings only the best produce to the shelves. In fact my family has been buying milk and eggs from them since we first tried it earlier in the year. The location itself is great but the building space could have been bigger. They make up for the building space with the convenient installment of a drive thru for people who want to enjoy something on the go. Despite what other reviews tend to say the customer service has never given me any issues during my multiple visits to Braums, and until I see it for myself I will continue to use their services. read more

Went in today for burger and limeade. Got it home 10 mins away. Burger was cold, soggy, giant hunks of lettuce. Totally unacceptable. Fries were cold and hard. Won't go back. read more
