I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. I've been a Whataburger fan for years. Having another option is great. The order was filled quickly and accurately. I've been back several times since.

Yet none of them show up so here I am again. I have come here no less than 100 times because it is on a common path for me and I love Braum's. To me it's a great concept because you can get several small items groceries and of course ice cream or even hamburgers! The other big advantage is that if Braums produces it, it's some of the best that you will get whether it's a french fry and ice cream a hamburger or anything else! Braum's also is very good at hiring great people! The customer service here is fantastic, which is a reflection of good folks, and good management! On this particular trip, I found myself a few items short in the pantry. I've been able to cook some of the things I am cooking for Thanksgiving. I needed some whipping cream and some half-and-half, along with some sausage and eggs. It was great to be able to do a quick in and out and be on my way and back to the kitchen.

I recently visited Big Dash and I'm still thinking about the desserts!…read more The hazelnut baklava tasted just like a Ferrero Rocher -- rich, nutty, chocolatey, and perfectly sweet. Absolutely delicious. The butter cookie roll was soft, buttery, and indulgent without being overwhelming. But the real star was the kinafa. The cheese pull was INSANE , perfectly crispy on the outside, warm and gooey on the inside, and balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. Easily the best thing I tried. Don't walk, run to try their desserts. You won't regret it!

This is a bittersweet review for us to write. As you can see, we posted our first glorious review…read morein 2017 when Bigdash first opened and could not have loved this place more. It was SO special. We haven't been back in many years and not only did that magical original location close, but what we found instead was this monstrosity of a location that felt hyper corporatized and commercial--in other words, soulless. Listen, we don't begrudge them their success. And we were so happy for them when we saw them being mentioned in the NYT a few years ago. But now Bigdash has gone full American--they've expanded to multiple locations, the quality has gone down, and that je-ne-sais-quoi magic is completely gone. We came here yesterday after a stellar meal at Khashoka, excited since it's been so long since our last visit. We walked in (it was freezing) and the whole place looked like a Disney-ified version of the original Big Dash. There was one woman working, and she was very friendly, but what a different experience than mingling with the original owners in the unpretentious cozy ambience. The worst part is that the ice cream is nowhere near as good! The original Arabic ice cream's level of rose water was off and the ice cream's stretchiness felt less organically created. The pistachio was OK. Our daughter got this crazy container of small individual frozen fruit shapes that were covered in chocolate. Those felt cute and special and we liked them all except for the grape. Again, we're happy for Bigdash's success. They deserve it. But we will not be back again because what we loved so much about this place is no longer. Tis the American way, alas! Three stars and sincere best wishes to them.

We ordered the Ube Tres Leches and Mango Halo-Halo. The Ube Tres Leches was incredibly moist, rich, and packed with ube flavor without being overly sweet. The Mango Halo-Halo was refreshing, loaded with toppings, and perfect for a warm Texas day. Not pictured was the Ube Oreo Cookie, which was equally delicious and a great treat to take on the go. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was relaxed. We love finding places that offer Filipino-inspired desserts, and Scoop N Buns definitely delivered. Looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu!

We got the Pandan halohalo & mango halohalo to try. Since it was at a festival, the price was more expensive and it was $12 each. Both of the halo halo were refreshing and the ice cream were so good. My favorite topping was the flan, it was so creamy and paired so well with the shaved ice, but I wish they give you more flan though. Overall it was a good experience but I'd probably not going pay $12 for it again.
