Our first time at Braum's and the assistant manager was so sweet and gave us our shake for free. 10/10 quality service and sweets.

This Braums has some of the lowest standards Ive ever seen. The place was filthy and the blinds looked like they haven't been cleaned since the 80s. For a place that usually has the best limeades, the limeade was watered down and disappointing. The burger was lacking the usual delicious flavor. The kid at the ice cream counter was very good and helpful, but when we received our order, we realized the overcharged is and got the order half wrong. Usually braums is one of the best places we go for ice cream. Today was a disappointment at this particular location. read more

I asked for a small Vanilla Frozen Yogurt with butterfinger (candy mix shake) They were out... so chocolate was all they had.. It was not busy. He not only gave me a dirty cup but none of the employees working the ice cream area were wearing gloves. Ended up not purchasing and left. I have mixed reviews on good ole' Braums! We only go for ice cream and fries for my toddler (who doesn't like ice cream, if you can believe that!). The scoops are hefty, and the prices beat any other ice cream shop in the area. Sundae's are classic, and perfect for the sweet tooth. They even still carry their peppermint ice cream, which I remember distinctly from my childhood. The fries are crinkle cut and crisp... the perfect addition to you ice cream of choice. They've also got their little store on the side, which stocks some pretty nice items; upscale salad dressings and juices, produce and other staples. The staff is really great with kids, and I always appreciate their attentiveness to my 4 year old. The last visit however, the majority of the seating areas were filthy, and really made our visit unpleasant. I had to clean my own table and scoot all of the food on the floor over and away so we didn't step on it. I was pretty grossed out. I've been before, and this wasn't a problem. My boyfriend got us breakfast from here yesterday and they messed up our order. We didn't want onions in the burrito and the receipt clearly says "NO ONIONS"! He got home and it had onions in it. Smh Today we decided to give them another chance. Let me tell you! The biscuits were hard AF!!!! We couldn't even eat it or bite into it. This place is trash!! AMAZING service from Chris the manager. I can't even begin to explain all the ways he went above and beyond just to take our order. After delivering our food to our booth with napkins, straws, and ketchup included we saw him go and check on each one of his employees and then began cleaning the side glass door. It was nice to see a manager who wasn't afraid to get in the trenches with his employees instead of the typical person who refuses to get his hands dirty because of his management title. We like the banana splits (with all chocolate ice cream and hot fudge), the limeades and the burgers. Though I prefer char grilled, these flat-top cooked burgers are pretty darn good-definitely one of the better cheap chain burgers around. On the rare occasions I get French fries, I ask them to cook their crinkle cuts extra crispy - with a little salt, pepper and ketchup, I'm happy. Service is good and fairly quick. The tables are a little sticky (probably from all the melting ice cream that little mouths can't eat quick enough) so I get my food to go. They also sell a limited selection of groceries. This includes naturally raised beef (with no hormones or antibiotics) at better prices than Whole Foods. I hope they use the same meat in their burgers. read more

I really like Braum's in general, and this store even received a much needed facelift recently. That being said, this particular location has dwindled in quality immensely over the last few years. Food looks sloppy, there's no attention to detail, burgers are overcooked and hard, and things just aren't up to snuff really. Aside from all of that, Braum's is a fantastic place to get ice cream and "classic" burgers. So what defines a classic burger? A classic burger in my reckoning is a simple one, with all the fixings, Iceberg lettuce, thick cut tomatoes, mustard, ketchup, or mayo, and a simple white bread bun. Their prices on ice cream and very fair unlike Baskin Robbins and company who now charge nearly $5 for two scoops. They have a wide variety of flavors, and most of them are nicely executed. I hope somebody in upper management will read this review and overhaul whatever it is that's causing this noticeable funk at an otherwise outstanding chain. read more

Let me just begin by saying I LOVE Braum's. Seriously, people. I'm addicted to the chocolate malt made with legit chocolate ice cream, and extra malt. But what is up with this location? I used to come here all the time, and never had problems. The last SEVERAL times I've come here I've had a really liquidy malt, or it didn't HAVE any malt, or it was liquidy on the outside and super unblended on the inside... Just always something. Braums is basically a family farm that opened up ice cream shops and restaurants so that they could sell ice cream at retail instead of milk at wholesale. They were doing organic milk before that phrase was ever invented. That being said, this particular store appears to be suffering from a napkin shortage since they've neglect to include any in my orders for the last week. read more

I do rather enjoy Brahms as a whole and this location is pretty typical of what I have seen. Big portions of homemade flavorful food at very reasonable prices. My family of four just had huge portions of ice cream, a banana split with 3 custom flavors of my choosing that granted, sound horrible when mixed, but hey it's what my belly wanted. A hot fudge brownie sundae, with a cone added, and two double dips of ice cream. All for the amazing price of $13ish. Really that's a great deal. And everyone is happy. Only general improvement I would recommend, and took a star away for, had trouble finding a clean both, only two were in use but the others hadn't been cleaned. If they improved on that one aspect alone, 5 star. Oh and they have a reasonably priced grocery store, great for a quick stop for eggs or whatever. read more

The children who work in the drive thru are extremely unprofessional. Stopped here for an after dinner treat. The young person working the window was too busy joking around with her friend to properly serve us. She gave us our items before she even gave us our card back since she was too busy giggling and joking while on the job. We had to ask for our card back which she returned without a "sorry" or "enjoy your meal". The ice cream is also blah at times. I can't even count how many sloppily prepared, leaking, half-filled sundaes we've received. And what's the deal with not providing bags for ice cream products? Maybe service is better in-store. Little stop by the in-law's house. We like their natural ice cream and their burgers. I got the bag of deluxe burgers, which is about 5 burgers for under $5.00. Not the best burgers but they are decent. They are similar to the dollar menu burger from McDonalds. Wife an Mother-in-law like their strawberry ice cream and waffle cones. Worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. The woman rudely interrupted me several times throughout my order to let me know that the simple flavors I was ordering they did not have up front (even though it's on their website). After two attempts I asked what flavors they did have? And of course with attitude she rambled off flavors I could barely understand. I ended up ordering something we didn't even want because we were so rushed and disrespected. Such a simple task it's unbelievable that your employees would treat a paying customer that way. One of my favorites, a place with good hot food AND Ice Cream, where you can still get a great root beer float, and go get a gallon of Ice Cream, fresh milk and snacks, BRAUM'S was OPEN FOR BUSINESS! I spoke to the Asst. Mgr. & she said four of them made it to work OK, so they were running the place like normal! I got my usual special and a few things in the ice cream area, and gave each of the four a tip for making it to work! I'm guessing the other restaurants could have too, but FORECASTS being what they were, and a few slippery spots kept them shut down all day and night! Good for them, BETTER for Braums! My husband and I went for a burger meal. He order a number 2 with a strawberry shake and I order a number 1 with no onions no tomatoes. Mustard on the buns. Get to the window. My husband told the lady that he wanted mayo packets. Well we get home and I open my burger to ketchup on one side and mayonnaise on the other. I can not have anything tomatoes. Then my husband didn't have a double meat. He received one patty no dressing on the buns and milkshake tasted sour. Very upset . read more

I have been here twice, both times at the request of my Texan cousin. She recommended that both of us eat lunch there. They don't just serve milkshakes and ice cream. They also sell burgers, one of which I bought. The burger and milkshake were ok, but they made my stomach hurt a bit afterward. The fries are passable, but not great. This location has become just plain awful. I used to come here quite often and really enjoyed the burgers. Now, they are pre-cooked with no flavor and really soggy bread. 4 out of 5 times my food wasn't correct and had to send it back. The last time, I just gave up and got our money back. OMG thier Bacon Chicken Club Sandwich/Burger is the bomb.com! Huge!! It's kind of heavy! I like to get the fried version: it's an actual pounded-out chicken BREAST (not patty!) with decent-portioned bacon, cheese, mayo, tomato, and lettuce on a big sesame home-style bun! Juicy and delicious! The grilled original version is good too. And of course their crinkle-cut homestyle fries are the bomb too. I recommend them! read more
