Braums ice cream has a good reputation and the Denton store does a lot of business but it is the nastiest food service place I have ever been in. The first time I went there was spilled pink shake on the floor in front of the register. Customers were expected to just stand in that. I asked a young man that was standing off to the side picking his nose to clean it. He did but he was smart mouth about it. Each time I have been there the Sunday bar is slurry of mess partially dry and partially fresh. The glass doors over the ice cream were all smeared. I could go on and on. I saw several young folks working but no one who could be identified as manager but someone needs to be in charge and clean up their act. A health inspector would not be pleased. I come here for milk, for some reason my coffee and smoothies just taste fifty times better than grocery store milk. It's fresh, delish' and I am able to buy it at almost all hours of the day or night. Ice cream...its okay...Shh.. I am a BB lover. There pre-packaged ice cream doesn't seem as creamy as other brands. The fat kid inside me needs creamy ice cream! As I said, I am the random person coming once a week for milk, and sometimes other diary products. Which are AWESOME. Bad service. It wasn't too busy and they had a lot of staff, but after waiting over 15 minutes for our order, we discovered that they lost the order. I heard the checker asking the manager about it and she said, "Well I didn't see the ticket being place". Very ugly like, and she did nothing to fix the problem, she's just fat and lazy. Worst experience at a Braums I've ever had. Cashier very unfriendly, no greeting, smile or thank you. I almost apologized for ordering. Today's visit was unnerving and it was only 10:30. After placing an order for sundaes, we noticed that the counter at the register was dirty. Then we saw that the glass covering the ice cream was filthy - fingerprints and drips of ice cream on the tops. The counter where they make the sundaes was trashy. And the worst was a fly infestation. They were all over the equipment and the person making our treats kept swatting them away from her face. Had we noticed the flies before she made the order, we would have left and gone elsewhere. Then when we went to the condiment counter by the booths, catsup and trash were all over the top and a bag of catsup was just plopped on the counter. The entire place was nasty and disappointing. The Health Department would have closed them down today. read more

This is a great Braum's. Their burgers are fantastic and the service is very fast. The restaurant is newly remodeled, bright, and the temperature is very comfortable. As far as the actual restaurant goes, I prefer this one to the other in Denton. However, I always have strange experiences with the other patrons at this location. It's not the restaurant's fault but it seems to attract a strange crowd. read more

I placed an order here via the drive-thru, drove to the 1st window only to have a staring contest with the person accepting the money. The young lady just stared at me when I got there, it was so awkward and weird. Not the best burger in town bit pretty good. Slow service on food orders is my only real issue. Its always been slow except when you order ice cream. It seems like cooking a burger takes them forever. If you have time to wait you will like this place. If you are in a hurry just skip it. read more

I was in Denton visiting family. Where I'm from we don't have Braum's, and I'm glad because I would go there too often. I had their steak sandwich, which caught me by surprise because the meat is deep fried, but I liked it (had it three times so maybe I liked it a bit much). You can't beat the cost of the ice cream either. For an order at the counter fast food place, I would go to Braum's over the nation wide burger joints. read more

The store has great Location near I-35 & University Dr. but the store looks too old. They need to paint the store & also put big sign on American Flag like McDonald near by & put some special like coffee $1.0 or some other special. When you operate next to #McDonalds who runs special all the time& America loves their products & specials, you must have some Attractions to draw the traffic Inside. read more
