I've been coming to this Braum's location for years, and the food is honestly why we keep coming back. This visit, we ordered a double bacon cheeseburger, fries, a strawberry shake, a grilled chicken sandwich, and a root beer. Flavor-wise, everything was good, and Braum's always has great ingredients, solid deals, and one of our favorite drink selections. The only thing that continues to stand out is the drive-through experience. It tends to feel a little low-energy and not as warm as I'm used to. The interaction at the window came across a bit cold and dismissive, which unfortunately takes away from an otherwise good food experience. I completely understand that everyone has off days, but it has been noticeable on more than one visit. The food still tasted great, though it was put together a little messily, and the fries were more lukewarm than fresh. Their deals and bag of burgers keep us coming back, and with just a little more care in presentation and customer interaction, this could easily be one of our favorite quick burger stops in Denton. Fast food restaurants but add a market. That's what you get when you enter into Braum. I had looked at the menu and was aware they were a fast food spot but I was pleasantly surprised by the market. I ordered the Gouda burger with no mayo combo and the nibblings got the quarter lb burger meal no tomato and a quarter lb with bacon burger plain. I enjoyed my burger, it was huge and flavorful. The jalapeños were plentiful so I had to take a few off. The bbq sauce and the jalapenos give the burger a perfect sweet and spicy taste. I like how you can get either a shake or a drink. I gave my drink to my niece and she decided on the cookies and cream ice cream made into a shake. You can choose any of the ice creams and make it into a shake. There were no complaints from the nibblings. My burger was actually really big and I was able to allow my nephew to finish it. We walked through the market and they have a little bit of everything. I didn't look at the prices but they have a wide variety and is truly a small grocery store with in the restaurant. I was happy to see my favorite Cesar dressing and a few other items among the selection. The portions and the price were very reasonable and we got a lot for our money. I'm glad we stopped and would definitely return in the future. I want to give the breakfast a try and try some of the ice cream flavors. To keep it short, this is the worst braums location i've ever been to. I love braums and I usually go to the one on the interstate or the one in flower mound and there's never any issues. But at this location the manager was so rude and disrespectful, The staff on the other hand was okay. The manager yelled at the people in line because the door kept opening due to how long the line was. The store itself was filthy and disgusting. All of the glass and counters were covered in ice cream grime, and the milk shake mixers were extremely dirty. The scent in there was foul (caused by the bathrooms). This location definitely deserves an update. We stopped by for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon in December and I was blown away by how exceptional the food was! Our meal was hot and fresh with juicy burgers (a bit shocking for the size) with melted cheese and hot, crispy fries. We both commented our surprise and how this was way better than other fast food burgers. We've eaten there an additional two times in the last month, both on the weekends, and each time has been just as consistent as the December visit. I don't know what they changed, I don't know who they hired that works on the weekend or how they changed their training or their suppliers, but it is working! I haven't had the ice cream from their restaurant side in a while, but we've had it in the past and it's very good. What we have done more of lately is shop at their grocery store inside. While we've been here before and grabbed an item or two, their products recently grabbed our attention and we've purposely included them in our shopping rotation. All the Braum's labeled products we've purchased have been so good! They have a small produce section, but what they have is good quality. The milk is extra creamy, we've now switched to getting milk from here. The plus side is that the A2 milk is easier for several of our family members with digestion problems, so we even got extra to bring to my grandmother on a trip. Their ice cream bars were the best either of us ever had and their yogurt was really good too! My husband loves their brand of hot dogs and we recently discovered that their cookies are the best you can ever get from a grocery store setting! The first time we got their cookies, they didn't even make it out of the bag because I got a call about a family emergency and we left town for a week. So by the time we tried them it was at least 10 days after our purchase date and we couldn't stop talking about how soft and delicious they were. We've since bought several more containers and they are outstanding- try the peanut butter, yummmm! We are truly impressed with their grocery store! Obviously you can't do all of your shopping here, but I really recommend you consider getting your dairy items from here at the very least. The only product I haven't been able to try is the cream cheese. It's been out every time we go, which is usually on the weekend. I don't know when their truck delivery day is. However, I don't find this concerning since there has been a cream cheese shortage for several months now. We've found every item, including meat, that we've purchased from here has been superior to what we normally purchase between 4 other grocery stores. Their expiration dates are good too, the only items I've seen expiring within a week are the bread and bagels; everything else is at least 2 weeks out, if not more. Plus, those tiny conveyor belts are adorable! We've been coming here for years, but never this frequently until recently. Kudos to Braum's for making the necessary changes and doing things right. I absolutely love Brams's burgers, goodies, and ice cream. They are malts have real malt, and that is uncommon anymore. Their restaurants have become less and less pristine over periods of time. This one was extremely busy but the grime and dirt and greasy floors and services at this level doesn't happen overnight. I was disappointed and the booths and the restroom. Having said that there is frequently a line from both order registers and also through the drive-through. I'm an ice cream lover. And this is one of my favorite ice cream spots for affordable, great tasting ice cream options. Plus they have food as well. I've had their burgers and I was decently impressed. Their milk shakes can be made with whatever ice cream flavor you want! They have a bunch of great flavors! Try mint chocolate chip shake!! Amazing! I've also had their banana split! Now, I love Dairy Queen.... but this makes Dairy Queen's banana split seem like a sample size. You get to put any ice cream flavor as the three scoops, then add toppings of your choice. And the size is twice the size of Dairy Queen's. The only down side is I asked for no nuts and got nuts anyway. But I survived. Sweet Tea Rating: 2/10 Their sweet tea does not taste so good in my opinion. Went here twice this week. It's a super cool ice cream shop/burger joint/dairy store. They have so many flavors of ice cream to choose from, where you get a select few for sundaes and you can choose to make a shake from any of them. The employees are really kind and actually smile (which I don't see a lot in California), and they are very helpful. There are booths for small parties and larger center tables for a bigger group, which I would recommend going with because it's just so cheap. read more

You can order grilled chicken if you want less fat and cholesterol. We split a hot fudge brownie sundae. Far exceeded my expectations.
