This experience was just very strange. The kid just laughed at me when I was making my order and then told me to pull up to the window to make my order. After I get to the window he takes the next vehicles order... didn't make any sense to me. Then looks like he whipped the top of the cone with his finger. Hours are listed as closing at 10pm but at 930 pm on Thursday 5/22/25 the door was closed with a closed sign at the window. A worker was sweeping and a young lady was just sitting at a booth with a backpack. One additional worker was in the rear of the building. My last visit was at about 7pm on a weeknight, with 2 trucks in front of me in drive through, which took about 15 minutes to finally order, and another 10 to pay at the window. Missed so many DQs while driving but finally made it to one! The outside sign for the store doesn't look anything like the logo so I almost missed the entrance. There's only two people working the store, which can create a bottleneck when more than four customers come in... Besides being a bit slow, still, service was OK. I got a Reese's blizzard! OK, I arrive right at opening time 10 AM. No one around but in a few minutes the owner pulls up behind the store. I'm in an RV and it's parked at the side of the restaurant. Now remember, it's opening time and no one else is around. What does the owner do but come out and fuss at me for "taking up all of his parking spaces on the side". I informed him that as soon as we get our order we will be back on the road and all he does is frown. 10 minutes later he hasn't opened the store nor has any of his help arrived. I ordered one item, there's extra $1.75 something charge for no reason, nothing additional on my order, they make up some obvious blabla and have an attitude when simply being asked about it, then tell me go park up front to wait when there's one car behind me and no one had been in front of me or parked waiting, nor was there anyone inside besides the 4-5 employees. We came one time and ask them to subtotal and she said she couldn't. This was in the drive through. Really? Today I went inside and they were busy. Helpful and friendly at the counter but forgetful. This is perhaps the consistently slowest fast food restaurant that I have ever been to. If you come to this location, I strongly recommend going inside, even if you're in a rush to take it to-go. The staff is relatively polite and does their job, just the speed of service is complete unacceptable, especially relative to other locations. DQ has fairly good ice cream and other food, so 1 star would be unjust despite the poor and slow service. read more

We went to Dairy Queen last night. We ordered through the drive through, which took for ever. We got out of the car, in the parking lot to let the kids eat their cones. The ice cream was immediately melting ant got all over the kids. We tried to let the kids go into the bathroom to get cleaned up before we got back on the road. When we got to the door a gentleman let us in, then a teen age girl started telling at us that the bathroom is already clean. I said "Are you telling us we can go clean up!" "No I'm telling you you can't go to the bathroom", she yelled back. She then grabbed a few crappy brown paper towels and got them wet and handed them to me. I stood there and pulled them apart handing one to each of the kids. I then ask for her corporate number, to which she got even ruder and yells "We are independently owned!" "Ok, give me that number" "We are not allowed to give it out, look it up online!" "Ok, what is your name ma'am!" "I am not required to give that to you!" "Umm, ok! You realize we are paying customers and you will not allow us to use the bathroom!" If you want to be treated with great disregard and disrespected, this is the place to go! read more

Not the best, yet is not the worst. Pros: Literally 4 minutes down the road from the house. I know what blizzards I like, and which ones they tend to butcher. (Ex: Turtle, wayyy to much chocolate and caramel.) Better than going to McD's for a cone. They have BOGO's...which is when I usually go. Cons: Slow, yet I have never really been to a DQ thats fast... Never flip the cup of the blizzard...isn't that their signature? (They always pierce the cup, so they put your initial cup into another.) No one tends to dress in uniform... Always starts locking doors, etc - 10 minutes before closing time (Not to mention they close extremely early.). Not joking, they begin closing down 10-20 minutes 'till. Drive thru...expect to spend a few minutes there, if you order something they aren't already cooking, expect to be told to park in the front and wait. A lot of their menu items are not the same as the website...such as salads, or Grilled Cheese sandwiches, which my niece wanted. They should seriously consider updated the menu... Overall, if you are craving a blizzard...their ok. Closest in the area, if you want other food...prepare to wait. Very old looking DQ. This DQ did not attract me to going just by looking at the outside. Service took 7 minutes for 2 blizzards. Tables were not very clean, so we wiped them down with napkins. Overall wasn't pleasant. read more
