It was well worth navigating the detours. I ordered my go-to: a Double-Double Protein Style, crispy fries, and a strawberry shake. The burger was everything I expect from In-N-Out--fresh, juicy, and loaded with crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, onions, and their signature spread. Going Protein Style lets the quality of the beef really shine. The fries were cooked just the way I like them--crispy on the outside while still hot and tender inside. I even managed to finish every last fry, which doesn't happen very often! The strawberry shake was thick, creamy, and the perfect way to finish the meal. One thing I appreciate about In-N-Out is the consistency.
