It's good, if you like pretzels. I got the sweet type. It was good, but I think I'll get the original next time.

My partner in food wanted to try the King Kong against my better judgment. Looking at the photos, it didn't appear conceivable - to make matters worse, he wanted it to go! It came deconstructed. Four HUMONGOUS beef patties and probably a whole pound of bacon and beautifully melted cheddar. The bun was questionable, mostly because it was nowhere near enough bread for all that meat, but I get it, in a challenge situation, I wouldn't want to load up on bread. The patties were well seasoned and firm. I would have preferred medium, but since I was sharing, well done was fine. Not over done and still juicy. It also came with a container full of steak fries! I admittedly put a hurting in the fries, dipping them in the house ranch mixed with the jalapeño ranch. I wanted the fries to be crispier and the ranch to be thicker, but they were delicious nonetheless!! So how much of it did we finish?? I finished one patty with out bread!! My partner finished one and a half patties with sandwich bread. The bun got designated to my leftover patty. Tomorrow's lunch will be a single patty burger with half a pound of bacon!

The food looked great when it came out -- generous portions and nice presentation -- but the flavor didn't quite live up to the visuals. The burger patties were cooked through but a little dry, and the seasoning was pretty mild. The mushroom and onion topping added some flavor, but the bun felt a bit soggy halfway through. The cheeseburger was fine, but nothing that really stood out. The chili dog had plenty of chili and cheese on top, but the chili itself was a bit bland and heavy. The fries were thick and crunchy at first, but cooled off quickly and lost their crisp. They tasted more like frozen fries than fresh-cut. Service was polite and friendly, though the wait for food felt a little long considering it wasn't busy when we came in. The place has a laid-back, old-school diner vibe, which is nice in theory, but the inside could use a little refresh. It's not bad if you're nearby and craving a burger, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Honestly, couldn't have done better myself! When the meal arrived it was still warm (again, thanks Bernard!) but one of the sandwich orders was incorrect. We wanted a Karl's Deluxe but got a Karl's Grilled Cheese. Who do we notify? MrBeast? On The Border? We would worry about that later... Sampled the Karl's Grilled Cheese, Beast Style Double, Beast Style Fries, and Seasoned Crinkle Cut Fries. Sandwiches were pretty mediocre... but the fries were some of the best fast food fries I've ever eaten. Grilled Cheese was undercooked and burger was pretty bland. The fries, however, the seasoning is pretty awesome and I've already scoured the 'net for their proprietary blend (no dice, yet!) Also, the packaging is really cool, and makes you feel like you're eating some badass kids meal. Anyways, being National French Fry Day I posted a story on IG--to which MrBeast Burger slid into my DMs with a "*french fry emoji* *hands raised emoji*". I responded with a bit of sass, "Y'all were lucky it was not National Patty Melt Day bc I ordered a Deluxe but got a grilled cheese..." After some questions about my location and the order number, they ultimately refunded the price of the Deluxe. Overall a pretty alright fast food experience. It wasn't terrible... but it also wasn't great. Will I try again? Maybe. I still want to try that Deluxe! Yeah

False advertising, lukewarm food, "seasoning" by the pinch...my first time ordering from a virtual burger joint and I kind of wish I had just opened my cat's wet food and called it a day instead. Not only was the food Yeesh, I ordered 4 BOTTLES of soda and instead got 4 CANS for 9.96! Are y'all on something to charge THAT much for CANS?! Sweet swaddled baby Jesus...what a joke...HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND! Following a raccoon to their dive spots would have been better and more cost effective. Unbelievable...

It's still a big deal to find modestly priced high-quality burgers served super fast. This isn't your Mickey D's or those five dudes or even that burger royalty. In-N-Out is simply awesome and they now have some 40 locations across Texas. Mrs. K. and I stopped in because I saw the big neon sign tower from the highway and could not resist. After parking (because the Sprinter won't fit in their drive through), I ordered at the counter. it was busy at 6:30pm on a weekday so it did take about ten minutes before my number was called. That gave Mrs. K. enough time to drain a first cup of sweet tea and send me for a refill. I picked up my burger and brought it back to the table. A "double double" which comes with two burger patties and two slices of cheese plus the other great stuff, along with a small basket of fries. Mrs. K. isn't eating meat these days so while I enjoyed the heck out of this hot and delicious burger, she consumed about half of the fries. A couple of things to keep in mind, that I had forgotten. In-N-Out has a great secret menu. You can order our burger "animal style" which adds mustard grilled beef, extra pickles, extra grilled onions and extra sauce (it's like Thousand-Island dressing). And I forgot that In-N-Out does their fries a little light - I have to remember to ask for them well done for crispy fries. Next time! [Review 413 of 2026 - 722 in Texas - 25596 overall]

I get the double double protein burger, which is 2 patties and 2 slices of American cheese, sliced tomato, pickles and their special sauce wrapped in lettuce - totally awesome.
