I love that I am always quickly in and out of this Brassica location. This location is much bigger than the one in the short north, there is always plenty of seating! Beware that parking can be a challenge here, I had to make three loops around the parking lot before I was able to go in. If you haven't tried their pink mint tea lemonade, definitely get a glass while you're here. I am not often one to order a drink while I am out, are usually stick with free water, but this special drink does it for me every time. So good and refreshing along side a delicious meal! read more

My friends eat here a lot so I was excited to go when they suggested it! It gives you a fancy chipotle vibe. You can choose a bowl or pita. I did the bowl and pretty much just added in everything that sounded good to me! Lettuce, rice, falafel, cauliflower, cabbage, carrots and roasted pepper sauce! The fries are also a must!! Honestly, this was so fresh and good that I'm not surprised by how much they eat here. They also gave my friend their food for free because they had to wait 15 minutes for fresh bacon. Wow! I want this place back home in Virginia. My brother in law described it as a Mediterranean Chipotle. But that doesn't do this place justice. The food is so fresh and tasty. There is a wide variety of sauces, vegetables, add-ons for free or little extra charge. I had the falafel bowl with hummus, cauliflower , cucumbers and more. The minty pink lemonade was delicious and not overly sweet. It looks super hip inside and a good ambiance though I did take mine to go. Curbside parking is limited but was able to find another spot and walk in to pick up. read more

Pros: the food! OMG the food! My favorite is a bowl with lentils & rice, brisket, red pepper sauce, spicy carrots, and pickled cauliflower. Everything is so fresh tasting, vegetable forward, and the possible combinations are endless. If I lived in Bexley, I would probably eat here every single day! I'm not sure my words can truly capture how amazing this restaurant is. I was visiting from Atlanta and stopped in for lunch before headed to the airport! My experience was great from start to finish. The manager was incredibly helpful and friendly and you could tell all the staff enjoyed working there! My falafel was better than I can find in Atlanta and the carrots, eggplant and cauliflower I threw on top of my bowl were AMAZING! I don't typically eat dessert but the tahini chocolate chip cookie looked so good I had to. Out of this world good. This location has great customer service and the food is consistently delicious and fresh. The salad is very filling and is almost enough for two, though I wouldn't recommend splitting. Fries are also very good and well seasoned but I'm personally always stuffed after the salad. I came to Brassica because I was looking for a place that was fast, unique to Columbus, and not too far from Highway 70. I wasn't looking for much other than a quick and solid meal, and yet what I found instead was a place that has Ah-mazing, will-be-thinking-about-for-days level food. Seriously, my brisket pita was too die for. Everything in it was so unbelievably flavorful: The brisket is juicy and tender. The pita is homemade and it shows, because it was incredibly warm and soft. The "special sauce?" I don't know what's in it, but there's some sort of magic in that sauce because I couldn't stop eating it. The hummus was creamy, and the Baba was delightfully smoky. Don't even get me started on the toppings. The carrots, cauliflower, pickles, sweet beets, and pickled cabbage are so damn good that I could've ate a pita just filled with these four things and wouldn't have missed the meat. If you're vegetarian or vegan, you'll have no trouble finding something to eat here. If you ever find yourself in Columbus, or already live in Columbus and have never been to Brassica (Why??), then go here. read more

Finally got time to try this place and it was a good find. Everything very fresh and the place was clean. Really tasty lunch and glad we went after the lunch rush. First time here and had a very good experience. Went on my Friday lunch hour and the food and service were both great. Got a chicken lentil bowl and loved everything but the Baba (but I'm also not a huge hummus fan so take that into consideration). Highlights were the fries, special sauce and jalapeno roasted cauliflower!!! Im not even a big veggie person and I loved it here. This is a sure fire date night HOME RUN! A out of the dog house Special One is the freshest, most flavorful build your own restaurants I've been to. This Brassica has a few pluses that cannot be found at the other locale: 1) plenty of FREE parking all around, 2) a bigger floor plan with more seating indoors, and 3) a nice patio area out front for people watching. The menu here is the same (at least to my knowledge), so great taste is uniform. First time for a go at their fries, and two thumbs up, stamp of approval. I tried their salad base, grilled chicken as my protein. Sweet pickled cucks, marinated roasted eggplant, obviously, yes, HUMMUS, and their homemade white tzatzikish sauce was a perfect topper. By far Brassica has the best flavors in Columbus. And the price is spot on for the quality and quantity. I ordered the salad bowl not realizing they put the rice and lentils in your bowl under the lettuce mix and it's a $2 up-charge, not sure I would order the salad bowl again for a spoonful of chopped salad. I choose the brisket as my protein-omg, meat melted in mouth, so tender-great choice! I added baba ganoush( they put a spoon of on the side of bowl) and pretty much all of their veggies. Everything was so flavorful however I did choose an array of items so the flavors were all over the place, but I enjoyed my meal and feel like it was a healthy meal overall. I love this place. I love it even more so that they have one closer to me now and with a parking lot. This location is great because you can park on the side of the building. Now aside from the great parking. The food is just wonderful. I typically get the sandwich but I put a slight spin on it. I put the rice and lentils in there along with the greens. I also get half brisket and half chicken in mine. It's like the best of both worlds I tell you. Then I get the tahini sauce and the carrots and I'm all set. The food always taste fresh and the service is pretty awesome as well so that is definitely a plus for me. This sunny restaurants is a lovely addition to the strip where City hall is now located. Their homemade pita bread is the best I've had. The hummus is rich and they offer to top it with paprika and oil. My daughter had hers topped with brisket. My other daughter had a salad, they assemble it as you pick the toppings. read more

This place was just flat out awesome! I was traveling for a work trip and ended up stopping at the Bexley location. The staff was super helpful and friendly and the ambience, for a lunch spot, was perfect! I was really hungry so I ended up ordering the falafel and fries, and it was really good! I ended up getting quite a few toppings (see pics) and they all were super delicious! I ended up getting full pretty fast, so I took the rest home with me, and they were really nice about re-wrapping up my sandwich. Overall, a great experience. I loved the fast-casual, but cozy feel of the place, and I highly recommend it for either solo or group lunches. Parking was also really easy - tons of street parking in that area of Bexley, so that wasn't hard, either! read more

We were fans of Brassica from the outset - but were particularly excited to find out they were opening in our neighborhood. If you know the original Short North store... you have the basic idea. Great additions at this location are... a) abundant parking... b) a great patio to sit under the London Plane trees and watch the world go by while you eat... c) wine wine wine (that is wine by the glass, wine by the bottle and wine by the can!). It makes for a great date night... a bowl of their delicious/high quality Mediterranean eats, a nice chilled bottle of wine and a seat on the patio. While it is accurate to say the service style is "a la Chipotle" - it is worth spending a few minutes looking into the prep kitchen. If you are there at the right time you get a pretty good show - and more than that you realize that essentially they are bringing in raw ingredients and making just about everything they sell in house. This is a significant differentiator. And you can taste it! I love the brisket ("while it lasts") and baba... add some of their made-in-house hot sauce. But from our experience you can't go wrong with any of the combinations. If you aren't sure, the friendly team is always willing to make recommendations. read more

I'd been to the High Street location earlier this year, and wasn't wowed, despite the strong reviews. My girlfriend (who is a fan) coaxed me into trying this Bexley location to see if I would change my mind, and I did...for the most part. I still think the franchise is a bit overrated and overpriced, given that it's essentially a Chipotle for Mediterranean food, but looking past the hype and the relative price, the food is indeed good, and the atmosphere of *this* location, at least, is much more conducive to sitting down and enjoying a meal. On this occasion, I wound up getting a falafel "sandwich" with various greens, pita chips, hummus and special sauce, while my girlfriend had the brisket with similar fixings, and we shared an order of French fries. The fries were admittedly excellent -- crispy, savory, and rich -- and my falafel sandwich was great as well. I've been on a bit of a falafel kick this year, as my girlfriend makes it every few weeks, and this falafel was definitely very good. I also appreciate that it was made to order, meaning that it didn't have time to get soggy; I was happy to wait a few minutes for it to arrive. I still don't understand the purpose of the metal rings that hold the sandwiches, because the paper inevitably gets all bunched up by the time you're halfway through eating, and it forces you to have to pull off pieces of the pita, rather than use a knife and fork...but this is a quibble more than a serious criticism. All told, this location of Brassica does a good job at the important parts -- the food, service, and atmosphere -- though there's still a part of me that thinks that more ado is made of it than necessary. We finally decided to give it a try and am so glad we did! Everything was delicious! I ordered a bowl with chicken and the flavor of the chicken was so good. There's a lot of different topping choices and sauces so you can really customize your flavors. I ordered a pita on the side and it was chewy and delicious. The pink lemonade is so good! Mediterranean fast casual at its finest! This place is off the charts delicious. Unique, fresh ingredients delivered creatively and with plenty of flavor! I had the chicken sandwich. The chicken was tender and tasty. The fresh greens were crisp and a perfect pairing. I could drink the red pepper sauce out of a glass it's so good! It mixes really well with the special sauce, too. I opted for the roasted cauliflower with jalapeños and the sweet carrots, and they were simply amazing. The cauliflower had a beautiful char roast on it with just enough subtle heat, and the carrots brought a really unexpected compliment to the rest of the sandwich. And the pickled red cabbage is a big winner! I can't wait to come back to Brassica. Everything about it is different and done right, and the prices are super affordable.
