So i went to Brass Customs to get upgraded speakers and a new radio. About an hour after I dropped my car off they call me saying they cant do the work unless I payed an extra $700 for the upgrades that I wanted. I told them I wanted better sound and for the buttons on the steering wheel to still be functional. This was the original bill. Trying to get me out my $1400

I couldn't be happier with the work they did (nicely tinted windows and a new stereo install) but it was the customer service that blew me away! The whole experience was TOP NOTCH! I will be back in the future and I will definitely recommend them to others.

Had some lowering shackles installed on a 17' F150. Completely satisfied with the work; no appointments, first come first serve. Luckily, I have a very flexible schedule lol. Get there at 0830, the wait was well worth it. I will definitely recommend.

For anyone in the Killeen area looking to have custom work done on their vehicle, you should really give Steve at Brass Customs a call. They do all kinds of auto modifications - audio, wheels, lighting, bed covers and tons of other stuff too. We had a new stereo/temp control system installed in my son's Camaro and we couldn't be happier. Steve and his wife were amazing to work with. I wanted to replace the junk radio in a 2003 Saturn Ion that my son just purchased. I asked what would be a good choice and Steve showed me a Sony MEX-5200BT it has everything I wanted and more. $125 good price, With: Bluetooth USB CD Player Android and iPhone support They charge $75 to install it. They did a nice clean professional installation. The wiring harness looked great. It was worth it. He did a much better job than what I could do. read more

They were okay. They used to be awesome. Their 5% tint doesn't really look like it anymore since they "switch brands" so now there's cheap stuff on my windows thats 5% but I can see everything inside which defeated the whole purpose. Great . 225$ gone. For a tint that doesn't do what it's really supposed to. If I can see what's going on inside the back seat then it's no bueno! That's my last time. Matter fact F*** em read more

Steve is a cool dude, hands down. I walked in about three weeks ago to get air suspension for my car. He treated me as if I already bought it. I've been to a couple other shops in Killeen and they treat me like I had no money (not gonna dime no one out). Steve did great work.. I will post pictures here soon. I don't go out of my way to write reviews, but today one of my bags went out because of a defect. I called Steve and he show up in BLORA within the hour to pick up my car. FLAWLESS customer service!! I recommend Brass Customs to everyone. He does tint, alarm and stereo also. Great price too.. I got my bags and installation hooked up for less than $3,000.. I drive a 2014 Lexus is250 fsport. read more

I went here Aug '12 to get a subwoofer put into my '13 mustang. I am no stereo expert, so they took the time with me explaining options and sizes. I got a great sub, way better priced than any of the other shops I looked at. They ordered it the day I came in and installed it only 2 days later! Service was awesome, seems like a very laid back shop with a friendly acknowledgeable staff. They were quick, honest, and friendly. I first called to get some information by phone and the owner was helpful. My husband was the one who ended up taking it in but they gave him the same courtesy in person and did a great job on removal and installation of new window tint for my car. I'd recommend them. read more

I had a new stereo and speakers put in my husband's 2003 vehicle. I don't know much about car stereos; I felt comfortable asking questions. Staff was helpful and honest. They did not try to oversell me--which I greatly appreciated. I had found some speakers online, and they told me about a cheaper set that would serve my purpose better. The installation only took a couple hours and was ready for pick up. Sounds great and I felt their pricing was very reasonable. I would use them again and would recommend their services. read more

Terrible customer service if you have any issue with your tint they will not back up their product. Rep I spoke with was extremely rude, didn't apologize and hung up the call. They don't even deserve one star. read more

I was immediately greeted when I walked into the business office. I did not have an appointment and I needed to fix the antenna on my car. It was hit by a soccer ball and just didn't work right. Steve was able to diagnose and fix the problem in about 10 minutes!! He was kind, generous and had excellent customer service. I will visit them again for all my car audio needs. read more

During the installation, he claimed my screen wouldn't turn off properly and said the backup camera I purchased was defective. He then offered to sell me one for $69.99 (back up camera) and added another $30 because I have a Volkswagen Beetle. I ended up paying $386 total. The next day, multiple electrical issues started: my lights stopped working, my windows wouldn't roll down, and my trunk wouldn't open. When I returned, they wouldn't even open the door for about 30 minutes. When the owner finally came out, he dismissed the issue and refused to inspect or fix anything. The only solution he offered was to reinstall the original radio and charge me again. I then took my car to AutoZone to check the fuses. They confirmed no fuses were blown and said the issue likely came from improper wiring during installation. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

Because of these issues and lack of thoroughness on the first visit, I'm giving a 3-star rating. I appreciate the corrections made, but better attention to detail and communication would go a long way in improving the overall experience.

I've stopped trusting them and checking myself because half the time they are still flagging you forward but they are not even looking at your car much less the tire. I have had to completely stop and wait for them to look because I knew was off even though he was blindly waving me forward. When he finally looked over he directed me to adjust my wheel. They other thing that can be highly frustrating with the pre-washers is most of them barely spray the front and sometimes don't do the back at all...they use to brush the grill so bugs will come off during the wash but I only get this every so often now. And when they do it's barely a brush at all right before the car enters the washers. It's an okay wash, nothing spectacular and I always have to do the grill myself because it's hardly ever clean especially after travel. I have a subscription with them but I'm going to try another company we have here. I tried them right after traveling in another city and it was unbelievably amazing. I did not have to do a thing after and the prices were lower. Go figure. So Today's is okay if you just want a dust off but don't expect anything spectacular.
