Visiting them feels like seeing good friends. Dr. Chung stays up to date with current practices and makes excellent recommendations. I truly value his opinion and encouragement. My experiences with him have always been smooth and positive. Dr. Chung is attentive, soft-spoken, and makes sure to understand my needs and concerns, clearly navigating all of my questions. Not only is he highly educated and intelligent, but his bedside manner is also incredibly impressive. He cares for his patients from start to finish and takes a gentle, positive approach to health and life. I have chosen Dr. Chung not only as my primary care provider but also as a pulmonary disease specialist because I trust him and appreciate his care. Cynthia Chen, Dr. Chung's medical assistant, is the jewel of the office. She is always pleasant on the phone and in person, and she is one of the friendliest people I have ever met. She greets everyone with her sweet, lovely smile and treats every patient with the same kindness. Because of her caring nature, patients like me often feel better before even seeing Dr. Chung. I can't thank Dr. Chung and Cynthia enough. Both have truly changed my life for the better. I feel healthier because of them, and I appreciate their care more than words can express. Thank you so much!w

I went in to see Dr. Reid because of some hives and my usual doctor was booked out far in advance. When I explained my situation to the front office staff they assured me Dr. Reid could assist in the matter. I had already seen my dermatologist, who has my trust and respect, and we agreed on the root cause of it. My dermatologist suggested seeing an allergist to see if there was anything further they could do. When I explained the root cause to Dr.Reid that once again, both my dermatologist and I agreed on based on the derm's other patients and my personal health history, Dr. Reid said "oh that's bullshit." Throughout our 45 minutes together he kept bringing it up as "bullshit" a total of 5 times. Not only are they unprofessional and disrespectful, but what's more worrisome is their completely dismissive attitude; for a doctor to not even consider possible root causes with data to back it up, is extreme cause for concern. They continued to speak poorly of my other medical doctors without even knowing them. Touting that "my primary and dermatologist should have been able to control my hives." But after doing what Dr. Reid prescribed for an entire week, I am still in no better shape. Lastly, he is a poor communicator: 1.) I didn't feel heard because I would explain in great detail "what happened" and he would immediately ask "okay so what happened?" and when I would ask him to clarify what further information he required, he would get irked at me. I've never had so much apprehension come from a doctor. 2.) He often interrupted me. He asked for my history of hives and when I would say "back in 2015 I tried this facewash and it gave me hives.." he would interrupt me to say "you can't call it hives because you don't know what it was." It was completely unnecessary and the third time he tried to interrupt me when explaining my history I finally said "OR whatever you want to call it." My medical team at the time diagnosed it as hives and it was treated as such, so constantly "correcting" me isn't fruitful. Needless to say, it was an utter complete waste of 2 hours and $40. I will never return.

Lisa is an excellent physician and her network of specialists is also really truly top-notch. She never punts on a recommendation and takes whatever you need to ask about seriously but nonetheless remains candid. She also keeps the communication friendly and encourages updates about more mundane things like work and such that give her insight into what's going on and such. Three important comments: 1) I am a guy and feel 110% comfortable with a female primary care physician (actually feel more comfortable with her than with my male doctors of yore); 2) DO NOT be late. Try it some time and see what I mean. You won't be late ever again! 3) Put your cell phone on vibrate or silent before you enter the office or again push those limits and see what happens. Don't worry, she's not a hard-ass; just trying to make sure we all respect each other and help her stay on schedule etc.

No judgment on your discussions of, well, anything really. You can be honest with her and she will make you feel secure about your decisions, both past and present for your health. I had a physical with her today and left feeling better than when I came in, and there was nothing wrong to begin with. She makes you feel that she honestly cares about YOU personally, and that is a great feeling to get in today's day and age of crappy health care. Five Stars!!

I've dealt with surgeon offices before and can say that Dr. Yung's office was the best of the bunch as far as responsiveness and patience I had so many questions and I concerns about the process but the office staff answered all of them, carefully reading my emails and answering everything in an exceptionally timely matter. Dr. Yung herself had very good bedside manner. She listened to me, answered questions and, when I was about to go under for the surgery, she comforted me by telling me that I was safe. Further, when I was at my first follow-up, I cried from relief that everything was healing well and they turned off the lights and gave me a weighted blanket to help me calm down. The results are amazing. There's still a lot of work to be done but it's all on my side as far as being confident in using the voice that the surgery has made available to me. I've shared my results with other people who have given rave reviews and several of them are planning to consult with Dr. Yung as well. I will always recommend Dr. Yung and her staff.
