I've never been upsold on anything, unlike larger commercial places, but I've never been sold anything that felt like a compromise either. It pays to note I am an inherited customer from my long-time optometrist [a dear man who kept careful notes so he could cheerfully ask me how life had gone since I saw him last]. It is a testament to the skill and warmth of Doctors Lindsay and Kurt Jung that I have not suffered the least hiccough or disappointment from the transition when he retired. My wife once tried another eyeglass provider, but the difference in quality and service was clear, she is happily back to this Lenscrafters. I also strongly recommend their replacement insurance. It has been incredibly consistent in fixing or replacing any issues I've had, and over the years it has truly been a lifesaver, saving me significant money overall. Yep, eyeglasses aren't cheap, but it's easier when I trust that I'm getting the quality and service I pay for.
