I returned to have both pair of glasses rechecked and adjusted many times to no avail. Finally I asked to be refunded, but instead they " pleaded" to let them remake one set of lenses, which they did. This week I noticed a crack in the right lense near the hinge area. I visited today to inquire about thei manufacturer's warranty. I was told if could happen if I wore them outside in the sunlight. That's completely unacceptable! I have been wearing corrective lenses for 50+ years and I've never heard that one before. I was told they wouldn't do anything for me. I suggest you try shopping somewhere else for your eye care products.

I had a wonderful visit with Dr. Poling. However, when I went to order my glasses, it was an…read moreentirely different experience. The optical tech helped me pick out a pair of sunglasses. I chose a pair of Costas. They were very expensive, but I was excited to invest in a nice pair of sunglasses. After I was fitted for them, I went back several weeks later to pick them up. I had ordered progressive lenses so that I could read and see far away. The transition of closer to far away was not good, and I could not see to read at all with them. The tech was very nice and said that she would order a new pair and have the lenses adjusted. When I went back the second time, then I could see to read, but could not see far away. The tech became very frustrated and walked away when I told her that I still could not see. She sent a different tech over to help me who said they would refund me for my glasses. I told her that I didn't want to be refunded, I just wanted to be able to see clearly out of the glasses that I was paying so much money for. She escorted me to the front, and I asked her why she was not offering me other alternatives for glasses that might work better with progressive lenses. She was dismissive and told me that she could not help me. If there are certain styles of glasses that do not work with progressive lenses, I should've been told that up front. I also expected a much higher level of customer service to try and find a pair that would work for me. I felt blamed, dismissed, and disrespected. I will not be going back. I called a few days later to speak to the office manager to share my experience and no one returned my call.

It's always very easy to schedule appointments and you can literally take a visit on a lunch break, as she is efficient and honors appointment times. So much respect for doctors and practices that try their best to stay on time and respect your time as well. All of the staff are friendly, they do a great job explaining what to expect, and it's no frills billing that you pay during your appointment time. Aside from my routine eye exams, Dr. Fripps has excellent chair side manner and holds space for you to address any questions or concerns you may have with your eyes. Then not only does she make recommendations, but also tries to give 2-3 recommendations in varying price points and locations (online vs retail) for whatever budget you may be hoping to stay within. This is one of those places you almost wish you visit more than once a year or so, but it's a welcoming practice and she remembers little details about you even though visits are infrequent. Highly recommend!

On the flip side, I'm not sure why businesses have an email form when there doesn't appear to be a willingness to respond to submitted emails. It's not always easy for me to call during normal business hours, so I had thought the email using their own form online would be a good solution.

It was about a month out to schedule. The exam was about 50/50 between Dr. Pinsky and the assistants. The entire team did a thorough job. Dr. Pinsky did her best in dealing with my son, although I noted stress in her voice at different points. The glass selection was pretty good for kids. We certainly were able to find a pair that complemented my son's face. Not positive she is the best choice out there for kids, but she certainly wasn't bad and I would most definately recommend her for adult examinations!

The staff was friendly and Dr. Aslop was awesome and very competent, but even after purchasing the $55 Groupon I was out $284 for a total of $339. It was supposed to include an eye exam and $125 toward a pair of frames. Okay, I can pay for the lenses. Those normally aren't too bad. I was charged $50/lense then $75 for anti-glare and another $25 for installation. I was given a $125 credit for a pair of $209 frames. That's where the $84 came from. My recommendation would be go to Sam's or Walmart then send your prescription to Warby Parker. You can get frames and lenses for $95 from Warby Parker which includes anti-reflective prescription lenses, anti-scratch, free shipping and 30-day return. You should be able to get an eye exam and stylish glasses for about $200. Lesson learned.
