Didnt tell us how long itd be, after 2 hours hadnt looked at it said itd be another hour. Took our business elsewhere. Rude. And i understand there is a line but let someone know and be polite after 2 hours we ask whats going on. Had to wave someone down to even come in lobby. Awful customer service. read more

Fast service for brakes on all 4 wheels. Good price as well. Guy at the front was also helpful and explained everything that was needed.

Very pleased with the thorough, professional care I received. As usual, I THOUGHTI knew what was wrong. They took the time to find the actual cause of my trouble and fixed it at a fair price! Great experience! read more

We take our cars there regularly to maintain service and we are always pleased! I took my car there today to get a drive light fixed and they had it done in no time. This was a special service they preformed for me because they usually do oil and brakes. I was very pleased with the service and how personable they all are...Thank you we will be back with all our car service needs read more

Everyone was friendly and helpful. I was able to drop my car off on a weekday morning, have it evaluated, fixed and ready before the end of the day. Communication was great. I will definitely be going back for any brake issues and oil changes. read more

I am so great grateful to have found this place. Everyone at this location is very knowledgeable and kind! Especially Dean, he went over everything that is needed and showed even showed me all that needs to be done for my car. Very great for visual people. He was thorough and able to answer all questions I had. I just thought I need brake pads, but I needed a little more than that. Glad they did an inspection! Such a great job they did. I will come here anytime I need them. I highly recommend this location to anyone. They had the best prices as well (I shopped around for two weeks). read more

Mechanics there were great, determined my car didn't need an alignment so wasn't charged anything! Only downside was that they had my car from 8am until almost 6pm when they didn't fix anything for the car. read more

I've been here three times now just for them to correct the issue they created when I put my new brakes on. Not only had I wasted my time with them in going back but they were very resistant to correct what they have done Don't need to say anything else when you give them a one star. Will never go back. read more

I went here to have my brakes fixed, halfway through the service the mechanic called me and said I had additional repairs that were necessary, adding several hundred dollars in addition to the estimate, when I refused he in turn refused to put the car back together for me to take it elsewhere, effectively blackmailing me into paying extra. Don't go here. Don't. Go. Here. read more

I needed my oil changed and I avoid doing it because I hate the pressure to get other things done. It is so uncomfortable and I never know what to believe. Cash handled my experience so well a couple weeks ago. He focused on what I came in for and very kindly made note of other suggestions. He offered to schedule them one at a time to respect my budget. He was all around great. He checked on all of us in the waiting room multiple times and was truly great at his job! read more

Little background, I have wrenched on rally cars on a pit team since a young age. 2 weeks ago I had bought a 30 year old low mileage Volvo, I replaced bushings, steering rack and steamed the gas tank got it running and wanted to drive it to flagstaff that day. I called around and found a place that was on my way out of town and had open availability. In the lobby I told them exactly what was wrong and they tried to blow some steam up my ass. I had mentioned that I have done alignments before using string and a bubble level, the one technician's mind was blown! So I explained to him how that works and believe it or not they have aligned wheels since before computers and laser alignment machines. I wait... Took them an hour to test drive it and get it on a lift. So when I saw it on the lift I asked if I could see underneath just so I could take some notes on what had to be replaced and the condition on the rust on this Hawaiian barn find. Wasn't being overbearing just wanted to look for my own information collection. So they got the shop manager and before I could look at the tailpipe they start feeding me some bullshit right off the bad. Telling me the struts are bent and needs a full front end rebuild. I take a measurement tool from my bag to see the bends. Actually perfectly straight. After that they proceed to tell me they can't align it for this reason or that reason; each more outlandish then the last. At that point I asked them to lower my car and let me out and proceeded to give them some advice on how to treat paying customers. I went home and got in my truck To go up to Flagg had a great weekend despite brakes plus. After work on Monday I aligned the wheels myself using 4 jack stands a string and a bubble level 13mm 21mm wrench and measuring tape. All the info to do it yourself can be found online. Anyways, horrible shop, young and uneducated staff trained to be lying money hungry con artists. read more

Most horrible experience now two times! I tried giving them the benefit the first time but no. They tried to screw me over a second time. It's sad that they treat women that walk in there like they know nothing and they can just take advantage of them. So sad! WOMEN STAY AWAY!!!!!! read more

I had an appointment for 10 AM. Was told it should be an hour. This was mid-week. Everybody moves around like molasses and I'm still here at 11:45. I would not recommend this company for service unless you have loads of time on your hands. read more

This place saved both my daughter on her brakes and then me on fixing the steering after a curb check. Together we saved more than $3000 from what we were told by another repair place needed to be done. Looking for good, honest people? Come here read more

Amazing service. Russ did an awesome job at making my work complete. Definitely will be coming back

Russ was so Great to me. Took me out to my car, showed me what needed to be fixed, walked me through the quote and when I couldn't I afford it he helped me work out how I could. Thank you Russ! I'll see you in a few months for the rest of the work! read more

They might have been more expensive than other companies. However, cheaper than the dealership and great customer service. Explained everything in detail so I knew where my money was going. They seemed very busy the day I took my car in, but I only waited about 2 hours for my breaks to be fixed. I'd definitely recommend and plan on getting regular service here. Thanks team! read more

Shout out to Cash for taking care of me. I came in today for an alignment and I am very happy about the service. Cash broke down the price which was better than most of the other shops around their area. Will be coming back here for more services. read more

2nd time coming in for both cars this whole staff is funny ! Welcoming and honest!!! Not only did they tell me what was going on in my wife's car but showed me each and everything (3things) specifically and explained it why I should get it done... I'm a fan and will only be coming here read more

BEWARE. Went in for an oil change and one week later the coolant is leaking and they didn't replace parts and screws properly. If you're a female they will damage your car. Do not go alone. read more

Absolutely love this place. I was recommended by a coworker for my car needs. I was greeted by Kash, he was such a down to earth type of guy. He answered all my questions and was set to get the maintenance my car was such in need for. Staff is extremely friendly. Will definitely go back. Thank you guys read more

I called three places that were 'brake specialists' as I wanted to ensure I got the best price as well as quality of work. After all, my daughter and grand-daughter will be relying on those parts. Knowing Phoenix drivers she will probably be using them quite often.. Brakes Plus gave me the best price and James was by far the most polite and helpful of all the people I spoke to. The check of what was needed was free, can't beat that. They were thorough in their explanation of what was needed and why. We opted for the Ultra-Premium package as my family's life is worth the price of high-quality brakes, rotors, etc. The work was done on time and we are very happy customers who have no problem saying this place is worth a visit and we will be back when needed! read more

If you even consider using this place make sure you get a full written price on the parts beforehand. They tried to charge me a 300% mark-up on a part and act like they doing you some great favor. Shop around people and take there "quotes" to other shops or better yet ask for the exact parts they need to use on your car and do a simple google search. You will see they are ripping you off big time. Hey every business has a right to make money but there mark-ups are beyond greedy. Had the work done somewhere else for less then half the price they quoted me. read more

Brakes Plus has replaced my struts and most recently done some routine maintenance on my car. Roger gave great customer service and answered all of my questions about my car. I would definitely recommend for service! read more

Wonderful experience! I had taken my car elsewhere because my brakes were squeaking like crazy and they told me that my brakes were FINE. A week later, my brakes started 'moaning' - I took it to Brakes Plus PV and they advised me my rear brakes were almost metal to metal! They gave me an excellent deal and the service was TOP NOTCH! There was even an error on my bill that the GM caught and removed! A lot of places would gouge you but not Brakes Plus! I will be returning!! Thank you !! read more

Sad to say this is my second terrible experience with this Brakes Plus location. I went in for a simple battery change in November, and being a young woman, they must have seen a money sign stamped on my forehead, so they installed the wrong battery thinking I wouldn't notice. Unfortunately for them, my dads a mechanic and I know how to identify when something doesn't fit, especially something as obvious as a battery! Took it back to get it changed again and thought that would be the end of it. It's now February, barely three months later and the battery died. Triple A took a look at it and said it read like a three year old battery and had a dead cell...are you kidding me breaks plus? Taking advantage of young women, not cool! read more

Went in for summer service, radiator, transmission and AC. They worked on the AC system and failed to notice the low pressure valve connection was loose. After replacing the valve and the Air Compressor that was covered by O'Reilly Auto Parts, I lost all cooling in the system. Because it was my part-The Customer) there was no recourse or warranty. I found out the failure was due to too much oil in the compressor. Bottom line, stay away unless you need something simple done. New Management from Colorado now in charge. They cannot be trusted to work on anything complex. Expect to spend $100's replacing unneeded parts improving their bottom line. Pretty disappointed as I felt I found a place I could trust. I avoid driving by this location. read more

Friendly, experienced staff went over all details. They did good work. I will come back for future services.

I drive a 2009 Smart Passion Coupe, and needed new brakes. The Mercedes dealership quoted me $500+ for the pads and rotors. I called several places and got anything from $400 to $250. Then I called Brakes Plus and they quoted me $230. I spoke with Allan and he was unbelievably nice. I went in and asked for him. I was simply blown away with his attitude, his customer service and their price. I mean... $500 compared to $230. Go figure! It is on my way home, too. Just an overall great experience, and Allan... Cheers! read more

Don't get scammed! Went in with my vehicle and asked what the noise from the tire was. They told me it would be $60.00 to "inspect" it. I let them an hr later they gave me a bill for around $1400 saying I needed struts and few different things. I went to another mechanic who looked at it for free! Said struts were fine and that the piece i needed was a loose shim for the brake caliper that was $20!!!!!!!!! Wow. They are vultures! Not only that I called another brakes plus in Glendale a couple weeks later to have them do brakes on my other vehicle and they DID NOT charge me for an inspection! This is by far the worst brakes plus shop in town. They will scam you. I have 3 vehicles that constantly need repairs and now because of your dishonesty, I will never be back. Horrible store! read more

I brought my car here after my check engine light went on. They were professional, speedy and informative. They called me to let me know that it was just a gas cap crack that was causing the issue and that they would take care if it for me. They also wanted me to know that the previous place that I had my oil changed at had forgotten to connect a hose by the air filter. Also my tire only had 2 of 5 bolts in it and they believed that the previous place did not screw them in all properly and I am lucky that my tire did not fall off. The manager was so nice and explained everything to me. This is great place to bring your car to! They even called the next day to check and make sure everything was working ok. read more

Came in prior to the July 4th Holiday and was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get in for a quick oil change. Spoke to Mike the manager and he was able to match a coupon from another competitor. Great customer service. I will be going back to Brakes Plus for all my automotive needs. No more spending twice at the dealership for the same work. read more

The service their was terrible! One employee kept talking sh*t about my vehicle when I was right there and the guy Russ jokingly well atleast I hope it was jokingly said that he was going to fucking kill me and I didn't appreciate that and the cost of the repair seemed too pricy for what it was!. I don't recommend this place! read more

Took my 2001 Explorer in for shocks , they were $50 cheaper than any where else I got a quote. I knew there was other work that needed to be done , they quoted me a price , I took back in 2 days later for work , they took me back to the hotel I was staying in and picked me up when the work was done . Fast and friendly , would recommend them to anyone . read more

It's sucks to get ripped off (Russ Stanfield was the general manager) My vehicle is a 2012 Mazda 3 s Grand Touring Sedan 2.5L with 78,000 miles. I was charged $1178 for replacing 4 brake rotors , 4 brake pads , and a supposedly brake flush , they charged me $453.96 for "replacing" + labor the rear left and right calipers , I checked and it was never replaced , I doubt they even "serviced" the rear left and right calipers, I don't even know if there was anything wrong with the calipers since they never replaced them. I also think they pumped the price even without the calipers , I should have gotten the hint when I asked to collect the old hardware that they removed from my vehicle(old rotors , pads calipers etc) Russ Stanfield said that they can give me everything but the calipers , he told me that collecting my old calipers involved with a fee (core fee) , they never respected my request to receive the old parts that was removed from my vehicle, It's really sucks to be taken advantage like that. I will never use their services again and hopefully this review will warn others. I chose this business because of the good ratings/reviews but it's really easy to fake reviews , all it takes it to open bogus gmail account and to give 5 stars reviews to their own business , there is no control over that. I complained to the BBB, hopefully they will investigate. This is fraud\theft I am really upset !!!!! UPDATE I just realized that my hand brake is not working anymore , it was working before *Brakes Plus* serviced my vehicle ! Now I have to spend more money fixing it read more

This place is ridiculously expensive! Rude intimidation towards me to spend $900 for a simple time up job! Do not go here!

Great Service, Friendly staff! I came in and got my brake pads replaced, tires rotated and my oil change, affordable price and fast service. Highly recommend this location. read more

Had an A/C that was making a strange noise in the 12 yr old minivan. Took it in on a busy Saturday morning and Russ squeezed it in. He and the guys took a look only to discover that the alternator had magnetized itself?! A couple of hours later I was out the door with a new part and everything runs well. Thanks to Russ, Roger, Cash and the other guys. read more

I brought my 2016 Jaguar F-Type into Russ at Brakes Plus on Tatum and Bell for diagnosis after my experience at another shop left the car with a horrible squeal. Russ and his team took less than an hour to diagnose the problem, and gave me more knowledge about my own car than anyone ever had before. I am grateful to have come here. Their prices are fair, their people are extremely knowledgeable, and I highly recommend them. read more

I brought my Avenger in for an oil change and to have the front brakes looked at. It was going to cost more than I thought because my brakes we in really bad shape. Curtis (I believe that was his name) was so wonderful. He worked with me in explaining what was most important to get done and worked it out so I could afford it. Mike made chit chat and was hilarious, making the already short wait time seem even shorter. I will definitely be coming back to this location. You guys are rad :) read more
