I found her on Yelp the night before l wanted my hair done. I wasn't expecting a while lot. Just a decent work. But I left her place more than satisfied. I am usually extremely picky, complicated, and hard to please when it comes to hairstyles. I am the type it usually takes 3-4 days at least to appreciate a new hairstyle l have going on. But as soon as she finished (even before she finished) l was totally digging the style. She was extremely accommodating and also knowledgeable. I sent her pictures of a brand l have never tried before saying it would be the one l wanted as l saw videos about it on YouTube and pictures on Pinterest. I was not even sure where to find them as it was already super late the night l called her and l wanted to get my hair done the next morning. She, not only, recommended a beauty supply near her place that would be open and where l could find it, but also explained to me that she doubted the extension l wanted would last and instead recommended another brand with curl patterns similar to the picture l sent her. And let me tell you the brand she recommended lasted beyond my expectations and looked exactly like what l wanted. You know that sometimes you have an idea, a really vague idea of what you want, but do not know how to make it happen or how to get it, or even what you need to make it happen. In those cases you need that person who could almost "read your mind" and organize your thoughts, bringing them to life. Turning it into something wonderful that goes even beyond your expectations making you think "Dang! I wanted something that good? Oh wow! How did she know?". She is that person. I was planning to keep my crochet for 4 weeks. I made it to 6 weeks (dont worry people l was still shampooing as needed). I went shopping on Sunday of the sixth week after church and 2 ladies were talking about me. One came up to me and said she looooooooved my hair and wanted to know where l got it done. She took contact information, gave me hers so l can send it to Nachi in case she couldn't find the phone number later (she was at work and didn't have a phone). I was thinking about taking down the hair that day, but decided to keep it another week. Honestly it was still looking super good even at 7 weeks. I just wanted a little break which is why l took it down. My first experience 4 years ago with crochets was a huge disaster and l have never tried it again till this past May (and it was also not good at all but mainly due to a bad choice of extensions, and l wished that hairstylist would have known better and warned me like Nachi did). I almost totally gave up on crochets... until l met Nachi. Now l will make sure to stop by her place at least 2-3 times a year. I will also make sure to always recommend her whenever l can. I am extremely pleased with this first experience with her. I will probably add pictures later, unless she does it herself. Well, that was my super long review (sorry about that, but l was just too happy of how the experience turned out and wanted to express my gratitude). Nachi is absolutely FABULOUS. I went to her to have knotless braids installed. Not only does she has gentle hands, she was professional and accommodating. My braids were not tight, they felt really light. I have been to other braiders and have not had the same experience. Medium, long braids were done in about 5 hours and a little change . I wanted goddess locs and wanted to do the individuals. Nachi provided me options in regards to the style. She encouraged I do crochet in the middle and individuals around. I wish I would have done straight crochet because the individuals kept slipping out of the locs. I had to go back to her to fix it and they were fine for a few days but again slipped out. I know it was the type of hair and not her quality of work. Everyone gave me compliments on the hair even with the slippage. I only had it for 2 weeks.
