The kids jumped for about an hour then came upstairs for the pizza, chicken tenders, and cake. Given that the party seemed rushed there was no time to open gifts so we helped take them to the parent's car then we all left. My main reason for not giving 5 stars is that we were all advised that prior to the party to fill out the online waiver (which is required for all of these types of parks), which we did fill out. Upon arriving, we were asked to fill out a paper waiver -- I advised the young staff member that we already filled this out online so why are we now having to fill it out again. She seemed to be dumbfounded and didn't know -- told me that she was just told to have all party guests fill out the waiver and that she thought it was because they were having system issues but wasn't sure. Frustrating but I made the hubs fill it out since I did it online previously and didn't feel like filling it out again.

I am absolutely disgusted by what happened at Skate Station tonight…read more My six-year-old daughter was using a skate assist while skating on the roller rink. The rental period for the skate assist had come to an end, and an employee from skate rental came onto the rink to retrieve it. He came onto the rink while my daughter was at the inside wall and took the skate assist from her. I was on the complete opposite side of the rink watching her skate, nowhere near her. He then left her there clinging to the wall, screaming and crying because she could not skate by herself. She is SIX YEARS OLD. I understand that the rental period for the skate assist had ended. That is not the issue. The issue is that he removed the skate assist she was relying on while she was still on the rink and left her without a way to safely get around or get to me. If an employee needs to retrieve a rented skate assist from a child who is still on the rink, the absolute bare minimum should be making sure that child has a safe way to get off the rink before taking it away. Instead, he took the skate assist and walked away. When I confronted him, he tried to justify his actions rather than acknowledging what had happened or recognizing how unacceptable it was to leave a six-year-old stranded without her skate assist. I immediately spoke with the manager. Unfortunately, I was equally disappointed by how management handled the situation. The manager went over and spoke with the employee, who appeared to be his buddy, but I saw no meaningful accountability, no genuine apology, and no indication that management understood the seriousness of what had just happened. I am not upset that the skate assist rental ended. I am upset that an employee removed a skate assist from a six-year-old child and left her clinging to the wall, terrified, screaming and crying for help because she could not skate independently, while her mother was on the other side of the rink. There is a massive difference between retrieving rental equipment and safely transitioning a child away from that equipment. My daughter deserved to be treated with care and dignity. Instead, she was left crying against the wall while the employee walked away with the very thing she needed to skate. That should never happen to another child.

Below is the formal complaint that was emailed and submitted, however, there has been no response: Good morning, I am submitting a formal complaint regarding a private event held at Splitz Bowling - Gainesville, FL on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The reservation was under the name Josie Jackson, and we paid $435.38 for a private section with four lanes for two hours. Lanes 27 and 28 experienced continuous technical issues throughout the reservation period. While I understand that having more than six participants per lane can sometimes contribute to delays, lanes 27 and 28 did not exceed six players during the first hour and were the first to malfunction, confirming the issues were not related to lane capacity or guest usage. During the final hour of play, lanes 29 and 30 also began experiencing issues, further reducing usable play time across all four lanes. Additionally, our dedicated server was present for less than an hour and did not return, and multiple staff members were disengaged despite a busy venue. Management arrived 30-45 minutes later and offered minimal remediation (initially 15 minutes, then 30 minutes across all lanes), which did not resolve the technical issues. No meaningful follow-up occurred despite assurances. On-site security staff were inattentive. We were mostly not impressed that the lane kept having technical malfunctions then when we went to renew for another our lane stopped working completely and they had us wait 10-15 minutes just to wait for another lane to open up in the boutique area. Staff wasn't exactly helpful.
