The skating rink was decent and the shoes- well they're rental shoes so not the best by a long shot - they have rollerblades if you want for extra $- still expect rental shoe quality. We were shafted out of our go cart rides (thanks rain) but were offered other activities to do- rock wall climbing- bouncy kid house thing- or jumping on trampolines with bungee cords. The kid house thing was a huge hit with the littles. The other stuff we didn't do - nobody wanted to. The video game area is pretty small but good i thought. The staff was very very nice but if you schedule a party here they seem kind of rush rush when your having you r cake and pizza stuff. They need more party rooms. That would prob help. They let us bring in a fruit tray which was awesome cuz some places don't. I would do it again. *edit * My partner actually complained to me about for 40 min straight about how crappy the food court area was- took like 30 minutes to wait for a couple of pretzels, pizza was sh*tty, if somebody had an order ahead of yours forget it. He said all that junky good should be already ready and not made to order in an airfryer, takes too long. He also complained about how rushy the place was in using the party room. He said the hostess needed to stop hassling us about getting stuff done-might as well said 'hurry tf up and finish your pizza & get out'. Said the whole organization was chaotic & "completely inefficient". I mean I didn't see it that way but I'm not all tightly wound up. At least not on that day.

I am absolutely disgusted by what happened at Skate Station tonight…read more My six-year-old daughter was using a skate assist while skating on the roller rink. The rental period for the skate assist had come to an end, and an employee from skate rental came onto the rink to retrieve it. He came onto the rink while my daughter was at the inside wall and took the skate assist from her. I was on the complete opposite side of the rink watching her skate, nowhere near her. He then left her there clinging to the wall, screaming and crying because she could not skate by herself. She is SIX YEARS OLD. I understand that the rental period for the skate assist had ended. That is not the issue. The issue is that he removed the skate assist she was relying on while she was still on the rink and left her without a way to safely get around or get to me. If an employee needs to retrieve a rented skate assist from a child who is still on the rink, the absolute bare minimum should be making sure that child has a safe way to get off the rink before taking it away. Instead, he took the skate assist and walked away. When I confronted him, he tried to justify his actions rather than acknowledging what had happened or recognizing how unacceptable it was to leave a six-year-old stranded without her skate assist. I immediately spoke with the manager. Unfortunately, I was equally disappointed by how management handled the situation. The manager went over and spoke with the employee, who appeared to be his buddy, but I saw no meaningful accountability, no genuine apology, and no indication that management understood the seriousness of what had just happened. I am not upset that the skate assist rental ended. I am upset that an employee removed a skate assist from a six-year-old child and left her clinging to the wall, terrified, screaming and crying for help because she could not skate independently, while her mother was on the other side of the rink. There is a massive difference between retrieving rental equipment and safely transitioning a child away from that equipment. My daughter deserved to be treated with care and dignity. Instead, she was left crying against the wall while the employee walked away with the very thing she needed to skate. That should never happen to another child.

Stopped by after work for a 9 hole. Lots of parking. plenty of space to change in the women's…read morelocker room/ which is more of a restroom. Pro shop employee was very nice- young guy. Picked up a bucket of practice balls- the automated machine is broken, so the shop employee had baskets and a big trash can full of balls. I recommend the small, because it's $5 and he filled that small basket to the top! Shop has shoes, clubs, shirts etc, anything you might want or need. The practice facility you have to walk up to. You can't drive the cart to your spot. The mats were quite beat up but they have short and longer fake grass. The carts are basic- no speaker and no gps. No towels. No cooler. Handheld magic sand and a bucket of it. Course conditions were ok. Some of the greens were very nice and some were scorched. The fairways were ok. The rough areas are super sandy, lots of weeds. Had a great time golfing. Booked on GolfNow, and paid $26 at the course. Apparently they have twilight prices which are even cheaper, but I'm not quite sure when that starts- approximately 6:30pm. There's no restroom between 3-4. There are some water hazards. Bunkers were ok. Tee boxes were ok. But I found myself in the rough quite a bit and the conditions were so sandy and weeds! Made it difficult to get out of. Bar staff was super friendly. They have a pretty good food menu and good prices on alcohol- that booze bucket would be my drink of choice! Service on the course only Thursday through Sunday, so make sure you get the booze bucket on days the cart girl isn't out there. They have a league Thursday evenings and lots of info on upcoming tournaments/charity events. I would golf here again. Will return to play the back 9.

Our foursome drove down from Jacksonville to play, and it was hardly worth the time or gas money. We won't be back.

I met the resident PGA golf instructor Darrin Nowlin. He was very polite, professional and accommodating. And, I was only there to purchase a few tees! I asked Darren if I could look around the "store" because I found it quite unique. Darren was very open to this and said to get with him should I have any questions. While perusing the facility, I had the opportunity to meet the owner and fellow PGA Golfer/Instructor Sammy Samson. Darrin introduced me to Sammy whom I instinctively took a liking to. As it turned out, Sammy and I had "plowed" a lot of the same lots in life. As a retired police officer and having the privilege to have served in our country's military not much really "impresses" me anymore. However, Sammy Samson was quite the exception to my "rule"! Without going into detail, suffice it to say Sammy and I had shared many of the same life experiences. Onto golf. Sammy and Darrin were the most easygoing, low pressure and unhurried businessmen I've ever encountered. All my questions about golf instruction, golf clubs and custom golf club fitting were answered with nothing expected in return. I researched Sammy and discovered him to be one of our "WORLD'S" "top 100" CUSTOM CLUB FITTERS for 2015! This was for the phenomenal KZG Golf Club. I was taken aback by his knowledge, expertise and consummate professionalism, while remaining impeccably unpretentious. You simply have to experience it to believe it! Sammy ordered the respective parts for my custom KZG clubs after he and DARRIN spent over an hour getting measurements I never heard of. Sammy explained what he was doing as we went along. The club fitting took into account my physical disability (prosthetic shoulder replacements). Absolutely nothing was overlooked. Sammy was adamant about the model KZG'S I should have and he laid out a plan that justified his position. After working up a price, I was MORE THAN HAPPY to order the clubs. (And NO,, Sammy didn't sell me the most expensive clubs. He "did the right thing" by putting me into a set of clubs that are relatively easy to hit (mid to high handicap). The clubs arrived several days later and I was 3rd on the respective list to have my clubs built. I stopped by Tree Tops Golf to pick up these beautiful golf clubs. To say I was taken aback by the craftsmanship and attention to extreme detail with all shafts properly splined, lie angles perfect, grips properly placed, etc, would understate my enthusiasm. As I mentioned above, "everyone" who loves the game of golf, should have the sensational experience I had. I've started my lessons with DARRIN who works tirelessly in assuring we began by building a strong learning foundation; both mental and practical. Not a minute is wasted. Do yourselves a service. Don't spend outrageous monies in buying $500 drivers that 90% of us can't hit anyway! Golf is a multi-billion dollar business in our nation. People get their "Golf Digest" and scurry through the periodical to find the latest greatest clubs coming out for that year with their "old ones" dust ridden because they couldn't "hit them well"! Please realize we are NOT going on tour! My clubs are made for me and no one else. They're gorgeous and I can tell I'm going to be spending an enormous but fulfilling time golfing. I'm developing a great relationship with Sammy and Darrin. It's just the A to Z service which is unparalleled in the golf industry today. Everything from square one of just meeting both these gentlemen to now be effortlessly striking the ball with the only golf "coach" I ever had, coupled with the only set of custom clubs I ever owned, has led me to believe this no " by chance encounter". I'm excited to be get this opportunity to learn the proper way to play this great game and feel quite satisfied about having great equipment hand-built by one of the top 100 golf club builders on the planet! Match that with expert instruction from Darrin and look who's in the "catbird's seat"!

The background area - storage unit next door - takes away from the actual golf course; it has a lot of potential without the distractions and/or possible additions (beverage and food service). We were too tired to do both, by the time we finished golfing; therefore, we saved our batting cage tokens for another time.
