Best golf course in town. Generally in excellent shape with fast, true greens. Can get slow paced during peak times.

I have wanted to take golf lessons for years and finally made it happen: I couldn't be happier to…read morehave started my golf journey with Andy! I had 4 hour-long lessons at a great price. Andy's passion for golf is evident as he doesn't pay attention to the clock, only to the student's needs and endurance. He obviously studies and studies to hone his craft and contribute to his teaching. It was clear to me that getting the fundamentals was paramount to my long-term success and Andy helped me with every detail and let me practice the nuances again and again. He provided visual aids and even sent me videos after my lessons to reinforce what I'd learned. His ability to see minute body positions and movements indicated to me that he can improve any level of golfer or any specific concern. My understanding of and enthusiasm for golf have been greatly elevated and I believe I'm off to an excellent start! I highly recommend enlisting Andy to learn or improve your game!

His set up is nice and you're not around distractions and people at other levels so you don't get nervous. I looked around for a bit for lessons and the prices were high. Andy's price is beyond fair and quality! I played the day after my lesson and I already was much more consistent with his tips! Definitely will be back!

The ranger…read moredoesn't no enforce pace of play and refused to enforce 'one-ball/one player' rule to singles who jumped in front of us on the back nine. The fairways were as expected for a course in disrepair, and you never get a good lie and seldom get an grass under your ball. Lack of sand in the traps coupled with unmarked obstacles made the play miserable. There's no food in the clubhouse, and no cart girl selling refreshments. Our foursome drove down from Jacksonville to play, and it was hardly worth the time or gas money. We won't be back.

Picked up a bucket of practice balls- the automated machine is broken, so the shop employee had baskets and a big trash can full of balls. I recommend the small, because it's $5 and he filled that small basket to the top! Shop has shoes, clubs, shirts etc, anything you might want or need. The practice facility you have to walk up to. You can't drive the cart to your spot. The mats were quite beat up but they have short and longer fake grass. The carts are basic- no speaker and no gps. No towels. No cooler. Handheld magic sand and a bucket of it. Course conditions were ok. Some of the greens were very nice and some were scorched. The fairways were ok. The rough areas are super sandy, lots of weeds. Had a great time golfing. Booked on GolfNow, and paid $26 at the course. Apparently they have twilight prices which are even cheaper, but I'm not quite sure when that starts- approximately 6:30pm. There's no restroom between 3-4. There are some water hazards. Bunkers were ok. Tee boxes were ok. But I found myself in the rough quite a bit and the conditions were so sandy and weeds! Made it difficult to get out of. Bar staff was super friendly. They have a pretty good food menu and good prices on alcohol- that booze bucket would be my drink of choice! Service on the course only Thursday through Sunday, so make sure you get the booze bucket on days the cart girl isn't out there. They have a league Thursday evenings and lots of info on upcoming tournaments/charity events. I would golf here again. Will return to play the back 9.

The driving range is not very long only around 200 yards, so the longest club I could hit was a hybrid. There is a putting and chipping green. There is also a good Cajun Grill to eat after of before a round. Overall a good public golf course in Gainesville. I play multiple times a year and hope to play for years to come.

I'm not a high end golfer by any means and I don't expect to walk into a clubhouse and see marble floors but seeing this guys bed next to the concession stand is very troubling. Update: A week after posting my review the owner Jeff contacted me called me dishonest about the beds location explaining to me the bed was his and is farther from the food than I recalled and asked me to remove my review. I hope this course gets better and Jeff starts to listen to his customers who in my case genuinely want the course to get better and want to come back.

It's a gorgeous venue (includes bridal cottage and groomsmen suite) for both the ceremony & the reception. Not only is the venue amazing enough but the people involved are what make it. Debbie (the event/day-of coordinator) went above and beyond for us. Answered all of the questions we had leading up to our day and also handled all of the vendors the day of so we didn't have to worry about anything. We also followed her vendor recommendations that worked out perfect. Libby & George own the property and Libby was our officiant as well. She handled the ceremony part to perfection. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The endless photo opportunities, the indoor spacing and set up for reception & the people involved are why we would highly recommend Clark for a special day. - the Kopp's

It would be awesome to see them get things up and working again. we have been multiple times over the last few months, every time the go karts and batting cages are not open..... the rink is huge, the flooring is odd for the rink, but everyone has gotten used to skating on it now. We bring our own rollerblades so not sure the quality of the ones to rent. Their pricing guides are confusing as their website does not line up to the different signs posted (and even those contradict each other) I think it would be better if management did a sweep and got all their signs and website to post the same information. Also if you pay for a wrist band to do all activities, well you spend forever waiting for an employee to come let you on (for instance our last visit it took 35 minutes for an employee to let me kid on the rock climbing wall, and the place was not even busy, felt like a waste of money for any extras other than just skating)

In fact the paint looked fresh, carpet was ok, place was decorated decently. The skating rink was decent and the shoes- well they're rental shoes so not the best by a long shot - they have rollerblades if you want for extra $- still expect rental shoe quality. We were shafted out of our go cart rides (thanks rain) but were offered other activities to do- rock wall climbing- bouncy kid house thing- or jumping on trampolines with bungee cords. The kid house thing was a huge hit with the littles. The other stuff we didn't do - nobody wanted to. The video game area is pretty small but good i thought. The staff was very very nice but if you schedule a party here they seem kind of rush rush when your having you r cake and pizza stuff. They need more party rooms. That would prob help. They let us bring in a fruit tray which was awesome cuz some places don't. I would do it again. *edit * My partner actually complained to me about for 40 min straight about how crappy the food court area was- took like 30 minutes to wait for a couple of pretzels, pizza was sh*tty, if somebody had an order ahead of yours forget it. He said all that junky good should be already ready and not made to order in an airfryer, takes too long. He also complained about how rushy the place was in using the party room. He said the hostess needed to stop hassling us about getting stuff done-might as well said 'hurry tf up and finish your pizza & get out'. Said the whole organization was chaotic & "completely inefficient". I mean I didn't see it that way but I'm not all tightly wound up. At least not on that day.
