The weather is the only negative, so plan accordingly with sunscreen, fans. hats, rain ponchos, money for the Kona Ice and Dippin' Dot vendors and so on.

The negatives I found about this establishment is the prices, they are outrageous but it is a nice zoo with plenty to see and lots of animals. I would visit this zoo again, there is plenty here to do to keep you and your kids busy for a few hours. I recommend checking their hours so you have enough time to enjoy the zoo while you also have time to get away from the Florida heat for a bit and enjoy a meal,this zoo offers different places to eat.

As I was signing in to the park, I was notified of a substantial price change across the entire campground. Roughly 30% or more as I recall. Shortly after that, both cable/satellite tv went out and so did their wifi. Very little has been done to correct either. When I contacted Lori in the office, she stated that nobody was willing to come out to fix it due to the pandemic. That doesn't account for them paying their vendor for cable/sat AND wifi but the end user cannot use. Couple that with the water or electricity being off multiple times per month with no explanation. Don't try calling these events in to the office as they won't be taking your call, nor replying to your voice messages. I have personally requested a copy of my monthly statement for my records but I have never received such after several months. To say the least, I am frustrated with the lack of care and compassion when it comes to customer service and if I can find suitable affordable arrangements near by, I will be leaving like so many others have already done.
