We do not live in the Gainesville area but we do have family that does. We came here for a birthday party for my nephew and this place is very similar to the other trampoline parks I've been to. This one, however has arcades, laser tag, and a rope course. Looks like they had party room options but our party was located upstairs at a long picnic type table. What I did like was that they had large loungers (very comfortable) available along the wall upstairs where parents and the adult guests could sit while the party took place. The kids jumped for about an hour then came upstairs for the pizza, chicken tenders, and cake. Given that the party seemed rushed there was no time to open gifts so we helped take them to the parent's car then we all left. My main reason for not giving 5 stars is that we were all advised that prior to the party to fill out the online waiver (which is required for all of these types of parks), which we did fill out. Upon arriving, we were asked to fill out a paper waiver -- I advised the young staff member that we already filled this out online so why are we now having to fill it out again. She seemed to be dumbfounded and didn't know -- told me that she was just told to have all party guests fill out the waiver and that she thought it was because they were having system issues but wasn't sure. Frustrating but I made the hubs fill it out since I did it online previously and didn't feel like filling it out again. read more

They offer daily specials Monday to Friday. Pricing a bit expensive for families. It seems dark inside. Little children are jumping with teenagers so a little dangerous. Dishonesty in charges . A $574.00 bill for a kids birthday party with 10 kids! Party room was hot (no ac was on). We had to track down someone to get it turned on. The room was hot until we were finally ready to leave! The pizza which they told was would be delivered from Papa John's never arrived. Instead they gave us two small concession Pizzas for the kids that were what we ordered. All cheese no peperoni (they were out of pepperoni) . The pizza was about 20 minutes late arriving . So we sat in a hot room waiting. At the end of our 2 hour rental we were being hurried out of the room . The party child did not get a change to open his gifts. The children were denied entrance into the areas that we had paid for. While we were paying our bill the women informed me that my military discount would not be applied because it was a Party Package and they don't do discounts for that. The 574 dollar bill did not explain the charges and we did not get an adequate verbal explanation of the bill There was not written contract. and none there would explain the package. There was no quite room in which we could go and discuss our concerns. We were trying to communicate in a very loud environment shouting to be heard. I do not recommend this place for kids parties. Save your money. It is ok as a place to go individually with your kids, but not for a party. Their practices are deceptive and bait and switch. I will definitely be complaining to the BBB and the FTC. read more

Half the games are off or broken. Not well taken care of for what you pay. We played laser tag and when the system didn't work for the first three minutes we got called back into staging to be fixed then we got let back on to the course. We only got 6 minutes of working time. Over half of the lights are off and the staff honestly don't want to be there. read more

Flip Factory Zone is a fun trampoline park. It was clean and pretty well maintained. It also seemed to be a safe environment. We didn't notice any rowdiness or bad behavior being allowed. There was lots to do for all ages. We spent $250+ for our family of 7 (6 got the extreme pass, 1 didn't jump) Issues we had were... 1. After emailing with someone from the company I was told there would be a 10% discount on all passes the week we were visiting, but that was not honored when we arrived, which was a real bummer. 2. We found out after paying, when the kids went to the ropes course, that we had chosen the jungle gym instead of the ropes course for them (I wasn't given an option and did not know there was one), so 3 of our kids who were excited to use the ropes course were disappointed and so was I, especially after paying the amount we did for the most expensive package. After looking back at the website, I see that it says "jungle gym or ropes course", but I didn't realize that when paying and would have chosen the ropes course had we been given the choice. 3. I also didn't like that when we wanted to enter any of the attraction areas we had to go find an employee and then go back and wait for them to come help us. read more

We have been a few times to flip factory, we went this last week and purchased the "extreme" and were shown the list of included attractions and was told it was for 2 hours. This is all things we have been told before. Well the kids kept going on the bumper cars, after 3 bumper car rides and a round of laser tag, they tried to go on the bumper cars again and the guy wouldn't let them, he told us to go talk to the front desk, when we did the young girl explained that you only have so many "credits" for the attractions and once they are up, you are done. I believe this information should be given up front, not just "2 hours" since our 2 hours was not up and we got cut off from the attractions except jumping. We have been a few times and have never come across this rule before. Not sure it is worth $30 a kid for 2 hours if you can actually only do attractions a handful of times......regardless as a business you should be upfront and honest about what you are selling. read more

Horrible experience. I I had fun at first, until I got stuck in between the cushion and the wall, hitting my wrist on a bar and getting tangled in the rope. Within a few minutes, 2 adults came to help. Props to those people. Anyways, I got a bruise on both my wrists. One because the wristband got caught on the ropes while I was getting out and one because I banged it on an air pipe to blow up the inflatable. A roach crawled on my foot, I quickly shook it off, though it was scary. That hole was around 5 feet deep, questionable how the tightrope is right next to the 5 foot hole with a pipe. But apparently I need to be more cautious. Stay safe out there, people. read more

Came to Flip Factory Zone on a Tuesday with my boyfriend and his nephew. We had a great time! We each purchased the extreme package which included trampolines, rope course, and laser tag. We also got an arcade card. For all three of us it cost approximately $130. You have to purchase socks separately. There's lots of trampolines and foam pits. Dodgeball and basketball as well. All of it was fun and safe. They have numerous arcade games which give out tickets so you can get prizes too. They have a cafe. I'm a sucker for mozzarella sticks so of course I got them, they were good. They also have party packages which is reasonably priced. Highly recommend to take your family/friends for a fun day or birthday party read more

The tramps are too firm. But the big danger is the lack of maintenance of the foam pits. In the foam pits near the north wall, all the foam blocks are piled up in the back and the pits are hollowed out in the front. Unsafe condition! Only a few layers of foam bricks covering the hard floor. They need to redistribute the foam blocks so the pits will be deeper near the front where people are jumping in. Anyone who gets hurt will have a good case to sue, despite the waiver. This is gross negligence. I hope this review will catch their attention. Otherwise we had a fun time. read more

I came here for my daughter's birthday and she had a blast!! The place has a open floor and looks great. I took out a star because the jungle gym area was kinda dirty. But it was good to play since there were not that many people. Liked that the place was big and didn't charge adults if you don't jump. I would come back here definitely:) read more

A couple weeks ago we went to flip factory to celebrate my daughters bday. We ended up over paying due to people coming in at different times & the kids wanting to more then we thought. I went up there and showed them the charges & what happen and they worked with me and fixed everything! Their management was so helpful and did it immediately! The day of bday we had an amazing time both kids & adults jumped, played laser tag, jungle gym, and rope course! Also if you bring socks from another jump place they will trade the socks for FREE!! One of the girls from the staff, who is African American and skinny, pointed her middle finger out of the blue to me and my friend. We could tell she was off. She screamed that we couldn't foam fight in the balance place, and I was far away and didn't hear what she said, so my friend repeated it. My husband and I drove in from out of state to visit our grown son and his family. We decided to take them out for some fun and ended up at Flip Factory. We purchased (3) of their extreme packages and (2) of their $50 arcade packages. The extreme packages for our son was supposed to include their rope course and the sky coaster. After spending almost $200 we were told that my son was too tall (over 6') and too heavy (220 lbs) to ride the sky coaster or participate in the rope course. When my husband asked for some sort of refund (since our son was over 6' and 220 lbs at the time of purchase and one of their own staff members manning the register at the time actually placed the band on my son's wrist) he was told that there was not a manager on duty that could give any type of refund or even an arcade packages to compensate us for the extra money. Pretty cheesy way to get extra money if you ask me. Needless to say we will NEVER visit this establishment again and will be sure to tell anyone who will listen just how we feel about how Flip Factory in Gainesville Florida does business. read more

Excellent place to take your kid for a round of trampoline jumps. I take my two years grandniece, and she jumps, runs, and play with the arcade games as well as me. Sad because it doesn't have a good coffee shop for eating and drinks. That area can be improved to have a more grateful time. Beyond that, is a place to come again and again. No inflatables or sliders, but a lot of trampoline and foam blocks pool that is awesome. Important to buy the socks before entering in the trampolines. Prices are moderate. read more

My husband and I are from NC and were in town for the afternoon from a business meeting. We wanted to do get so exercise so decided to check out Flip Factory Zone. We had the best time! The park is filled with so many activities such as numerous trampolines, dodgeball, slam dunk basketball, trampoline and obstacles that land into a large foam pit, a challenging ninja course, arcade game (his favorite "space invader" which I beat him in ) an Ariel ropes course and also had a HUGE parent viewing area. There was a cafe with food and beverages for sale as well! It's too bad we didn't have our 5 year old with us to jump and play. She would have loved this place! We were greeted at the door with a friendly staff and also met the owner Craig! If we ever come back into town we will DEFINITELY stop in again to play. Clean facility with SO MUCH TO DO!! read more

We had my son's birthday party on October 26th at Flip Factory and also went to a birthday party at Flip Factory the following day. Here's my opinion on it, save your money. Don't bother holding any type of event there. They are unorganized, unprepared for your planned event, and rude to boot. We showed up to our party, they booked the wrong package, a trampoline party instead of a laser tag party (that part was a minor issue). The host stood there and mostly watched instead of "hosting". I had to ask about when the food & drinks were going to be brought to the table. As the host was wheeling the cart with the pizza & drinks, she asked if I had cups? Um, no because FF was providing the paper products. She asked if I had candles & lighter, I can understand candles, but a lighter? Most parents would probably forget that and a place that holds parties should have at least that. The host seemed more confused than anything else. I happened to have gone to check on something & ended up walking past her as she was heading back to the party area, her coworker ran up to her to let her know that we needed to be out of the party area by 3:30 because there was another party starting. It was 2:50pm and they were worried we would not be done in 40 minutes. The host took us to the party area 25 minutes after our party time started. There was no other party starting, we left Flip Factory around 4:15pm. We went to a party at FIip Factory today. Birthday boy's mom was running back and forth checking everyone in. The party host was somewhere, but not checking in the children or giving directions. Birthday boy's mom had to ask for more cups & napkins. When you are a party host, you should have foresight to see what is needed before it is requested. At 4:20pm, the party host said that we had to be done at 5:00pm because another party was going to be coming in. I told the party host, don't worry we will be done at 5:00. We finally rounded up the boys and left at 5:20pm...I did not see anyone coming in to do a party. The place was practically empty, and it was Sunday at 5:00pm, so in order to make sure we left the party room on time, they lied about having another party coming in. Local Gainesville parents - don't waste your time or money holding a party at Flip Factory. They charge for 10 children for a birthday party and provide nothing. They charge a "service fee" on your final bill, for the party host & party coordinator - basically a tip they don't deserve. They are rude, unorganized, and quick to tell you when you have to leave like you don't know any better. We all work too hard and try very hard to give our kids the best birthday party. For the amount of work & stress, holding it at the park, your house, or neighborhood clubhouse would be a better choice & cheaper. I will tell everyone I know that it is not worth the money to have bad service, work your own parties, and they don't care if you are not happy about the service, they got your money, so it doesn't matter to them either way. Flip Factory is such a sorry business for taking advantage of the parents when we have so little choices to hold birthday parties. read more

I was here with my family for a few hours, we decided to play in the laser tag area. While I was running around on the second floor of the laser tag. I ran past one of the fences and there was a very sharp wire sticking out of the fence which is a black fence so I couldnt see the wire because it was dark and it ended up slicing my hoodie open. I was wearing a hollister hoodie which is expensive. The worker that was watching over laser tag called her manager and told him what happened. She asked the manager if he would repay me for the hoodie since it now has a cut across the arm and wasn't a cheap hoodie, and he refused and would not pay me to replace the hoodie. read more
