We also had a high water bill and didn't know if it had anything to do with the sprinklers because we had such a confusing irrigation control system with multiple pumps on the property. We hired Urban Ecoscapes to do an audit of our system. Mark the owner and his crew came out and thoroughly checked our system and provided us a detailed report of how the system was running and repairs/improvements needed. On top of the report, he also made sure the sprinkler heads were aligned correctly and not wasting water on spraying the pavements and made sure the drip line were all functional and correctly positioned. He then provided us a very reasonable quote to replace the defective pump and replace the system controller with a very easy to use Rachio controller which you can download to your phone and control the system wirelessly. We are planning on utilizing Mark and his crew to change the soft and hardscaping around the house. It should be noted that Mark was the third landscaper I called to fix the irrigation system. I paid the previous one to schedule my irrigation system and Mark found out the system was turning on for 30 minutes seven days a week. Hence, my Tier 3 water bill. We wholeheartedly recommend Mark and Urban Ecoscapes!

He informed me of the game plan on the drip irrigation install and made me feel comfortable with the project. He's honest and a contractor full of integrity (something hard to find these days). Mark completed the drip irrigation install in 1 day as planned. We found out that my original valve wasn't working and he had it replaced and installed within 2 days. Not only is his company's work of high quality, his pricing is incredibly fair for the market. I received multiple quotes for the project, and Mark's proposal was detailed where I didn't feel like I was going to be blind sided by a change order. Did I mention he provides a workman ship guarantee? In addition, Mark set me up with the top of the line Rachio WiFi controller with little to no mark up. Mark and his crew diligently made sure that the sprinkler system was working perfectly before leaving the job site. If you're lookin be for an easily approachable, we'll communicating landscape contractor, do look no further! Mark with Urban EcoScapes should be your choice!

The finished project exceeded our expectations, and we couldn't be happier with the results. The entire project took about nine months, with roughly half that time spent navigating Los Angeles County's permitting and approval process. Picture Build's permit coordinator did an excellent job keeping everything moving and minimizing delays. The demolition phase was exceptional. Luis and his crew removed our old pool in a neighborhood where heavy equipment wasn't an option, so most of the work had to be done by hand. Their skill, professionalism, and attention to detail were impressive. Once demolition was complete, a talented team of craftsmen brought our vision to life. They poured new concrete, built a beautiful stacked-stone retaining wall, and installed stunning travertine pavers throughout the patio. The quality of their workmanship is outstanding. Our project manager, Jorge, kept both the demolition and construction phases running smoothly. Like any major project, we encountered a few minor challenges, but every issue was resolved quickly and professionally by Jorge or John Durso, the company's general manager. Special thanks as well to Max, our electrician, and Brian, the quality control supervisor and all-around problem solver, for their dedication and attention to detail. The final transformation is incredible. What was once an aging pool is now a beautiful, inviting outdoor living space where our family loves spending time together. Picture Build delivered exceptional craftsmanship, professionalism, and customer service throughout the entire project.

Throughout the project, we had to pivot on certain parts of the design to accommodate existing brick fences and challenging land slopes, but the team handled these adjustments seamlessly, and the final outcome is truly amazing. If you are planning to design or renovate your yard, I highly recommend that you meet with their team for a consultation and quote.

They transformed the outside of our home, and it now looks and feels like a magazine spread! Just today, I received compliments from two separate strangers on the front yard. We constantly get compliments on the appearance of our home. Samantha was the landscape architect who created the design, and it was amazing to see her lay out the vision. She saved us space in ways I definitely couldn't have conceived of on my own. She said the remodel would be like doubling our living space, and she was right! Scott oversaw the construction from start to finish. He was very attentive and obviously cared about and was fully invested in the success of the project. He had an expertise with plants and gave great guidance to give me the colors I wanted in plants that would work for our space and the SoCal heat. I am constantly smiling at the plants Scott suggested. They are thriving, and I wouldn't change a thing. The crew was respectful, clean and did a beautiful job. It was a long project, but Pacific Outdoor kept their initial timeline. Our main reason for going with Pacific Outdoor was that they were a one-stop shop. They could do everything. They truly delivered, and it is better than we ever imagined! It was so easy to look at their choices and select what we wanted. They had a wide variety of design choices. We replaced most of the grass in the back with their pavers and used the same pavers for our driveway. They look fantastic. We have a neighbor that had Pacific Outdoor build them a firepit that they love. We received great guidance and attention from the full team all along the way. They didn't quit until the project was finished to our satisfaction. One important lesson is to use proper contractor despite the price on your home. We had Wonderworks redo a lot of the landscaping work that had been botched by previous contractors. Other than that, they've done DG, drainage, and a retaining wall for us and everything was done properly. We really had no firm ideas of our own regarding how to develop the backyard, but Brandon came out and gave us some really fantastic design options. After consulting with other businesses, we decided to go with Dream Green Landscape. After we explain to Brandon exactly how we would like to use the backyard, he came up with a perfect configuration that combined pebble, concrete, and succulent plants. Brandon sent us all of the potential plants we could use, but we ultimately trusted his creative vision and allowed him full reign to pick whatever he thought would look best. Brandon has an impressive crew that came out and did the work alongside Brandon. They laid irrigation, put in the plants, the ground cover, and the concrete. The final product is amazing. We love our backyard, and with Brandon's efforts, it has been transformed into a wonderful serene environment that we enjoy spending time in. Brandon warranties all plants for 6 months, and when a few plants didn't look particularly healthy, he came out and replaced all four of them no questions asked. I've hired plenty of contractors in my day, but the real test of customer service is how well they treat you after you've parted with your money.
