A unique experience! Really accommodating employees, genuinely interested in making sure we had a good experience by asking how things are and saying hello/goodbye when we come and go. We had a room, not a cabin, and it was clean and comfortable, albeit a bit small. The wi-fi signal in our part of the building was terrible.
The front desk attendant suggested we have dinner at the hotel because they said it was "very good", so sure, why not. I went to take a menu off the counter and they said, "No! That one's from yesterday. Let me get you tonight's menu." Any place that changes their menu daily? SIGN ME UP.
The dinner was fabulous, particularly the duck and chicken liver pate with onion marmalade. The service on the other hand was a little strange. The woman we assumed was the manager/supervisor was really cold and unfriendly, which we further assumed was causing her subordinates to be unfriendly, as well. It didn't impact our experience all that much, thankfully, but it could've been better. read more
