Coming in you really get that back country dinner vibe. Many of the locals come in and out of this place. Convenient and right off the highway. In terms of food, I love the coconut cream pie, creamy and layered. For the main dish, I wasn't a big fan of the stuffing. But otherwise the service was quick and efficient.

The food was excellent, the service was very good. A nice homey feel here. They have the capacity for large crowds.

Lovely cabin like setting on the mountain with excellent staff and food. Very good pricing. Nothing fancy but a very very good experience. Right off of the PA Turnpike and worth the exit and short drive!

Good, homestyle comfort food in the Laurel Highlands of PA, only a couple of miles off the PA Turnpike. Pros: This no frills, affordable restaurant surprised me with great home cooked meals like country-fried steak, meatloaf, hot roast beef sandwiches, etc. The two-page menu is a nice touch, limiting your choices to dishes they excel at making. Fresh-cut French fries and gravy were great! Cons: if you are looking for trendy food, this place ain't for you. Their Philly cheesesteak was just ok. Summary: if you are into great comfort food, huge desserts, and not worried about your weight for a day, I recommend Brady's. Pro Tip: make sure you get their dinner rolls.

The meal was great. Hubby had the daily special - stuffed pork chop, mashed potatoes and corn. I had the chicken bacon ranch wrap with homemade chips. Neither of us could quit eating the chips. The coconut cream pie was amazing.

The food was really good...but...our server, Jeremy, was THE BEST! Worth the trip...just to see Jeremy...and ask for him if/when you stop by!!

We stopped here as we were driving home from Ohio to Philly Suburbs because of the billboard on the side of the road. The place is decorated like a cabin- definitely woodsy/country but cute - that rustic charm. They have a pretty extensive menu of all different types of food and they also have a salad bar! I ordered the smoked turkey panini which was so flavorful! It tasted extremely fresh, the turkey and all the toppings! It came with one side or salad bar for an additional $1.99. I opted for the cole slaw which was really tasty! Our waitress was extremely nice and in fact everyone working here was very nice! The place was a little empty when we got in but by the time we left it was packed! It's a good hit if you're in town or happen to be driving by! The food is fresh and good home cooking !

The Acme Scramble. Big tasty and satisfying!

However, since I was touring a few Frank Lloyd Wright houses, I had not eaten since my early morning continental breakfast at the Comfort Inn in Connellsville. Mindlessly following the Google Maps directions, I arrived in a town called Indian Head and didn't have any expectations about what I'd find in this family-friendly roadside diner. Without hesitation, I ordered the $13.99 Grilled Chicken Salad. I was quite impressed with what arrived. There were huge pieces of grilled chicken breast, tender and moist, with cucumber, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, onions, beets, shredded cheddar, and a pickled egg with ranch dressing on the side (Photo 9). Sounds basic, I know, but it was hearty, fresh, and genuinely satisfying. Midway through my salad, a plate of fries arrived (Photo 10). I wasn't expecting it, but the server apologized for the delay. I only noticed later that the fries were mentioned in the menu. I certainly didn't mind because they were hot, tasty, and not at all greasy. Even though I was getting full and kinda anxious to get going, I was rather hypnotized by the refrigerator of freshly made pies. I just couldn't help myself and ordered a $4.29 slice of Banana Meringue Pie (Photo 8). I don't think I've had homemade pie that good since gorging at Valois back in my olden grad school days in the South Side of Chicago. What a nice surprise to have such a delicious square meal in a place called Indian Head. You're probably here for some type of special occasion, because it is certainly pricey. I decided to splurge for a friend's birthday for brunch, which runs $95 per person and includes a mimosa. The same friend has visited a number of Frank Lloyd Wright houses with me, from this PA region to New York to Illinois, so it felt like the perfect place. I made a reservation on OpenTable and indicated that we had one vegetarian (myself). The restaurant followed up to make sure there were no other notes they needed to know, and also to see if I wanted to add anything on. You can add things like rose petals on the table and a single rose to the celebratory person, wine options, or an individual-ish celebration cake. I decided to add the celebration cake, which costs $20 and serves two people. There is a main restaurant, but the special experience this place has certainly become known for are the individual dining pods, which are out in the trees but well screened from any weather. There are heaters and fans available in your pod. It is a truly lovely private dining experience. You can just slightly hear conversations of other diners in nearby pods if you listen very hard, and there is piano music playing on speaker, which is instrumental version of popular songs like Britney Spears, Shakira etc. We found this funny but simultaneously enjoyed it. They had nice little touches like a Happy Birthday sign on the wall and an embossed happy birthday note for the birthday person to keep, and brought out chilled plates for a dessert involving frozen custard. It was nice attention to detail that reminded you this is a special dining experience. Service is attentive but unobtrusive and wants to make sure you are happy with your experience. Onto the food. The mimosas were already on our table when we arrived. Our server indicated they were sending out a complimentary amuse-bouche from the chef, which was an individual vegetable stuffed mushroom. It was delicious and a nice starting note. Then came the appetizer, a smoked burrata with pita, arugula, grape tomatoes and an edible orchid. Everything is so beautifully presented here, and just delicious. The entrées were crazy. There were two portions each of stuff French toast, potatoes and frittata. Those were all vegetarian and shareable. On a separate board came enough meat for two people to share as well, salmon, pork, sausage and carrots. Since that tray was not for me they also brought me a vegetarian bowl including veggies, chickpeas and quinoa. It was a lot of food and we ended up taking a nice amount of leftovers home from this part of the meal. Everything was wonderfully prepared, with the stuffed French toast probably being my favorite bite. Our server said she would be bringing dessert which I assumed was the celebration cake. But no, there was a French pastry each, presented with some fruit. They have a nice cocktail and cocktail menu and we elected to add an espresso mocktini each with this course. Those were on point and I've missed espresso martinis so much since I've largely given up drinking. After all of this came the celebration cake, which either came entirely or just the frozen custard from Tropical Bungalow, a local business. The Tahitian vanilla flavor was just delightful and the frozen custard was a wonderful texture. It was truly such a feast. We ate every bit of the desserts. One thing I appreciated here is that often when a place is known for the experience, the food is beautifully presented but not always plentiful. That is far from the case here, you are not going home hungry. My total bill came to $252, which included the two $95 brunches, the $20 celebration cake and two $14 mocktails. Adding a tip, I was a little over $300, which is a lot but it is a special occasion. We heard folks talking about staying overnight and looked up more information, and found that you can tour the four homes on the property here, two designed by Wright and two by his apprentice. In reviewing the tours I noted that there are package options, with one offering a tour of three of the houses and lunch at Tree Tops for a total of $75 per person (!). This is an incredible value and I think I would take this option next time, as the houses would definitely be worth touring as well. I look forward to my next visit here.

It certainly seemed to be freshly made and not frozen. I ordered fries on the side in addition to Cole slaw. The slaw was nice and creamy. Again, this is mostly a bar. Onto the food. I had their messed up taters and their caprese BLT. Let's do the bad first. The BLT was a poor attempt. It was mostly lettuce with some sort of balsamic sauce. I could swear I also tasted mustard for some reason. Very little bacon. I think there was supposed to be mozzarella on the sandwich but I couldn't find any. Two stars. I would stay away from that one. Now for the positive - the loaded taters were absolutely delicious. Lots of cheese, both cheese sauce and shredded. Plus a nice helping of bacon. Can't believe I ate the whole thing myself. Here's why I'm giving this 4 stars - the whole meal cost around $15. You can barely get a fast food meal for $15 and this was way better. My Blue Moon drafts were only $5.
