The ignition switch was not working. The technician pulled the unit away from the wall and pushed it back in again and that fixed the problem with the ignition. I assume the movement must had wiggled something that had caused the problem. He also cleaned some build up on the inside but that was not what was causing the problem. In fact, he never did figure out what had been causing the switch not to work. He asked if I wanted him to figure it out and I said "No" since it was now working. For this half an hour of work they charged me a $300 "diagnostic" fee., despite the fact that they did not diagnose the problem with the switch. That equals a $600/hr. rate. The explained that they don't charge an hourly rate because if the tech was training a new employee, it would cost the client more for the extra time. .

Jeff responded right away through Yelp and then when I reached out he answered the phone and told me it would be no problem, just tell him when and where to show up. He was on time and basically told us to point at what we wanted and where -- it was amazing. In an hour, Jeff hung up two floating shelves, a tapestry, three long curtain rods and mounted our TV -- it took us 2 hours just to do the TV, so we were over the moon!
