I waited until I came back a second time just to make sure this was correct. AWESOME. They have done such an excellent job of cultivating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. From the beautiful bar to the homey feel of the brick walls . The service is inviting as soon as you come in, the bartender was the same both times for us, Nicole, and she was super friendly and on point with anything we needed. All in all from the flat breads to the ostrich special we took a chance on and even the scallops with soba noodles, all perfect. last Friday was our second visit, this time with a party of eight. once again we were very disappointed with the service. our waiter disappeared after delivering salads without dressing , did not return to check on the drink status , so none of us got to order repeat drinks. only one meal out of 8 was deemed delicious, it was the 40 clove garlic chicken. the oysters had shells in them , this is the second visit for this. We all agreed that we most likely would not return as this is the second time we were extremely disappointed with service and the food, it took the waiter so long to get back to us that we went elsewhere for dessert. We were hoping to add Brady's to our eating out rotation, but it is a no go for us now. read more

well we finally got here, it had a sort of rough start as it opened shortly before covid hit us all....but now open and lovely, even liked the gas lamps outside the entrance. ate at the bar and enjoyed the old mill/brick feel...service was pleasant, drinks good and as ordered and in general prices very reasonable, we has the app pizza which we saved half of for the trip home, the fisherman's special (haddock) and the blackened swordfish special, all were excellent we really enjoyed our visit here!! read more

I visited Brady's for a business dinner this past Tuesday evening. The ambiance was lovely. Very nice touches throughout. I have Celiac Disease and so am gluten free. I was impressed by the knowledge and available options for me. Both appetizers and entrees. All delicious. Most importantly, was the service we received. Our server, Holly, was the best server I have had in a long time. She was knowledgeable, thoughtful, attentive and really just incredible. Bit of a mixed bag, but overall good. The good: Our server, Matt was excellent. Nice guy and just the right attentiveness. The Good: My son's Chicken Madeira "Milanese," fiancee's Kvaory Salmon, and a raw tuna app were fresh and good. My son also enjoyed the onion soup. The not so good: My stuffed center cut filet mignon was disappointing. While the other two meals seemed fresh from the kitchen, mine seemed that it sat under a heat lamp for a while - the mashed were coagulated to a firmed consistency and the Crispy Brussels seemed like they flew too close to the sun. The stuffed filet tasted OK, but was beyond the medium I'd ordered. Desserts were also up and down. The carrot cake was dry, but the sticky toffee pudding was ridiculously good. Don't miss it. Overall the meal was well paced, but the wait between apps and entree was long. I think the filet waited for the chicken and the salmon. read more

We had a really nice night here Saturday. It was very busy, but our server, Laurel was attentive and very personable. The bartenders went out of their way to accommodate a slightly off beat aperitif, and the raclette appetizer is AMAZING! Both the veal chop and cod entrees were excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and modern. The wine list offers a unique variety both old and new world. The most important part was the way they have their dining room set up to accommodate social distancing. I felt very comfortable and safe. The food was amazing! I've been to Brady's two or three times and Bar 37 three times. The most recent experience at Bar 37 will be my last. I went there with a date. We were told to sit anywhere. We grabbed a table that was quite visible. Ten minutes went by before a server took our drink order. We then put our food order in, and proceeded to wait one full hour to get our food. Two other tables were sat next to us after we got there, and they both had food on their table in 20 minutes. One of them finished and paid before our food was brought out. The server finally came over and said, "oh, you probably want your food." I told her not to bother and just to bring the check. She came back with our food. It had obviously been sitting for some time. My date got an avocado dish, and it was literally a raw avocado sliced in half with no spoon or anyway to get said avocado out of the peel. Really crappy service and middling food at best. I would not recommend wasting your time here. read more

This is my first yelp review ever. However, my experience here was so bad that I felt I had to leave a review... First - The service was terrible. My gf and I arrived at the restaurant a few weeks ago on a Saturday night and the host (who I'm pretty sure is the wife of the owner) was talking to a couple at the podium. The couple weren't asking for a table, they were asking questions in regards to throwing a party there. That's fine, but the host didn't even acknowledge us when we got there and continued to talk to the couple for about 10 minutes until they were done and left. When the host finally spoke to us we told her that we wanted a table and she said that she needs to go look first, since she didn't know what was available. Odd for a host to not know that. So she left us, for an additional 5 mins, came back and proceeded to say that it was an hour wait for a table, but we could go sit at the bar and order off the menu there. Knowledge that would have been useful to us prior when we showed up. Upon sitting at the bar, the bartenders weren't that attentive (a little understandable for a busy Saturday night) but they also seemed a bit clueless when it came to the food. Second - The food was mediocre and pedestrian at best. We ordered an appetizer off the bar menu, pretzel bites with cheese. My gf thought that the cheese tasted a bit fake & processed (like cheese whiz) and I didn't think so at the time because it did have a richness to the flavor, but in hindsight, this could have been possible since it was a really bright, unnatural looking orange/yellow. For entrees, my gf ordered the zatar salmon. It was supposed to come with fennel but neither her nor I tasted it in the dish. The whole entree looked like something I would make from one of those food box delivery services (Blue Apron, Hello Fresh, etc.) My entree was a complete disappointment. I ordered the "Pan Roasted Loin of Cod." The fish was bland, kind of on the small side to be considered a "loin" and didn't seem like it was roasted at all. The 4 pieces of cubed potatoes that it came with were also very small. The broth was fine, but probably shouldn't have tasted the way it came, because my dish was missing the chorizo. I noticed that the chorizo was missing about halfway through. So I pointed this out to the bartender when I could, and she asked if I wanted the chorizo...kind of weird thing to ask since it was, yes, supposed to originally come with the dish. When it did finally come, it completely changed the flavor profile of the broth. It's kind of amazing that the kitchen would miss the chorizo, since the whole dish is pretty white and the red colored chorizo would be a hard thing to miss. Should tell you something about the quality control of the food leaving the kitchen... Third - The prices. Both our entrees were close to $30 each and certainly not worth that money. When I go out to eat, I expect the food to be better than something I can just make at home for much cheaper. In summary, my gf and I will never come back here and I highly advise other people to think about it before coming here too. There are other, better restaurants in Leominster. read more

Great ambience. Two awesome bars. The reason for only three stars is to follow. Our waitress was very fake. Nice at first but irritated with too many questions. When asking her about the menu choices she had no idea and you could tell she had not tried any of the items. The wait for the food was not too long but desert took forever we ended up taking it home. The menu is very pricey. We did not feel we got what we paid for. I got the Half of 40 garlic chicken. I was disappointed that it wasn't more crispy and flavorful. For the price of $21.99, I was definitely disappointed. The garlic was very flavorful along with the roasted vegetables. The chicken was something I could easily have made in the oven. My husband got the beef brioche. This was much more expensive. It seemed like a creative dish but it was lacking flavor. It was overwhelmingly swimming in a tomato sauce which was on the beach but not the pasta. The pasta tasted very fresh as if it was made in house. I will go back at some point but I think next time we will choose to sit at the bar and maybe have a few appetizers. Speaking of the bar they have a very light pour. Arrived on time for 7:15 reservation for 3. Unfriendly host; didn't seem happy to see us. Seated at 7:40. Went downhill from there. Harried server showed up close to 8. Ordered promptly since we had PLENTY of time to look at menu! Main courses came in shifts starting at 9:15. Cioppino was VERY dry so scallops, shrimp, clams and mussels were tough and overwhelmed by strong, too thick but skimpy sauce. Lasagna was cold. $42 steak was good. Would have walked out before food came but had gift certificate. Should have been zero stars except for server who kept apologizing. Manager should've stopped by. Will never go back but given their attitude I doubt they care. read more

My first visit to Brady's on 1/4. We couldn't get a reservation so we went early, around 5 pm. They said it was a 45 minute wait so my 3 friends and I went to the bar, ordered drinks and a flatbread pizza. We got a table after only 20 minutes, so the staff moved everything to our table. We ate our flatbread, which was quite good although could have been cooked just a little longer to brown it. I had a small caesar with salmon, which was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. One friend had the lasagna, which was excellent. Another had a half portion of orecchiette with rabe and sausage which she liked, but it only had 2 think slices of sausage. Another ordered the burger, which was on the pub menu, which turned out to be a 1/4 lb on an english muffin, no sides. The desserts were terrific, especially the sticky toffee pudding. The staff was very friendly, capable, and well-trained. A little uneven, but to be expected after opening so recently. Note to Bill: please add a good burger with sides to the regular menu. read more

First time visiting to celebrate my wife's birthday. Can't say enough about the great experience we had. Service was outstanding. Our waiter Sam's recommendations were spot on! Food was incredible, thank you Chef Brady. They also had live entertainment ( single musician playing guitar and singing). Unlike many other restaurants we've visited with entertainment the audible levels were perfect, not overwhelming or loud. Could actually have a conversation without raising our voices at all. My review is a continuation of Leslie B's review of Brady's Restaurant of my birthday celebration dinner (non-dinner) 02/19/25. WILL NEVER RETURN!!! We arrived at 6: 00 pm for our 6:15 reservation. We were promptly seated and that was the only good thing that happened. After waiting over 2 hours for our food, I tracked down our waiter who was replenishing the pantry section. He was shocked to see me. I told him my husband and I were leaving. We were cold (don't sit near the windows - no heat) and too frustrated. The last time we saw the waiter was at 7:30 saying our food would be right out. He said he would remove our entrees from the bill (which he didn't do) and my sister will pay for our appetizers and drinks. We never saw a manager or owner. Yes, they were busy, but we were the only people no being served. AND NO ANSWER TO MY SISTER's COMPLAINT! If you want your day ruined, go to Brady's Restaurant in Leominster, MA! read more

My husband and I really wanted to like Brady's. Living in Leominster, we were pumped for a new restaurant and there was so much buzz about this restaurant being owned by a renowned chef. Sad to say that after two strikes we won't be giving them our business again. Our first visit, the service was great but the food was lackluster. Hubby got the lasagna Bolognese, he thought it was ok nothing to rave about. I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken... dry chicken, skimpy dressing, small portions and not much else, totally unimpressed. Last night we decided to try again and sat at the bar for a different experience. We sat at the second bar that's a bit smaller, and again nice ambience. Service however, was seriously lacking, though not the fault of the bartender who was non-stop, trying to tend the entire bar of food and drinks herself. The FOOD was embarrassingly terrible. Chicken tacos for apps were nothing special. Dried, hardly edible chicken and then a cold flatbread bbq chicken pizza, and the worst tasting thing I have ever had, the polenta dish. It literally had no flavor and tasted like cornmeal slop in water. I ordered a full size dish, took a few bites, but it was completely inedible. The bartender was crazy busy, yet when offering a box to take the rest home,(the better part of the meal) she didn't question if I liked my dish. Overall, I hate giving a bad review, especially to a local business, but this restaurant is pricy and I feel that they have given so much attention to the ambiance yet have neglected the actual food. First visit to Bradys on 2/15 a very busy Sat. night.Great ambience,nice looking decor, finally an upscale restaurant in Leominster. Four of us at our table, good wine list most of the bottles are reasonably priced. Purchased a Steele Pinot for $24 not bad. Everything else is on the pricey side. The artichoke hearts francaise $13 and the sizzling escargot $10 both bland and flavorless. The veal chop was very good the sides are on the small side but good. The duck and ravioli were great. Unfortunately two of us at our table ordered the bone in filet mignon.While it looked beautiful on the plate the taste was very disappointing. At $40 it should have been a great piece of meat, but it was tough chewy and more bone than meat. All of our four dessert all were A+, the staff very helpful and capable the only hiccup was a long wait for the check.Total check with tip for a table of 4 was $260. Hopefully in the next few months it will come to the high standards that Sonoma of Princeton had. read more

Excruciatingly loud (couldn't enjoy a conversation with my wife across a small table), slow service, and watered down drinks (how do you make an all alcohol martini taste like water). Though the food was good it was not so good as to make up for the rest. It may be that our expectations on having a nice wedding anniversary dinner out, like we used to have at Sonoma, were too high for Brady's, who knew why we were there, to handle. Very impressed from start to finish. It was our first time trying it out and we LOVED everything. Our steak cooked to perfection. Drinks were delicious. This is the first restaurant I've been to since March. We were outside and I felt completely safe and loved that there were no menus that I had to touch (found using the QR code).
