As soon as I walked in, I was struck by the open concept, aeriness, and "intimate- type" ambiance. It immediately gives one a sense of welcoming relaxation . The hostess GiGi presented her smiling face and engaging , friendly personality and brought me to a table , offering me a water while I awaited someone to conduct my interview. Within a few moments, a friendly woman named Becca arrived ( introduced herself as AM), shook my hand, and sat down across from me. It was one of the most engaging, relaxed interviews I have ever experienced. Despite my not having any hospitality experience ( I am a retired nurse of 46 blessed years).. she welcomed me there with open arms. We talked, laughed, and she made me feel like we had known each other for years. She was very professional, had wonderful things to say about the people working there, and the guests they serve.. and I came away feeling that this restaurant cared deeply about providing an outstanding environment where staff and guests alike would come away with wonderful experiences and memories that would last a lifetime.

Mac + Cheese ; I am actually not a big fan of Mac and Cheese and I ordered this specifically to go with the tenders. But honestly, this may have changed my opinion. Hot Honey Chicken Stack ; very very good!! but the hot honey glaze becomes nauseatingly sweet as you become more and more full, and as you reach the end of your plate and you're trying to finish off the rice that's been soaking in the glaze for the past half hour. The chicken itself was borderline dry which isn't a surprise since it appeared be thinly sliced breasts with a nice char. I probably won't ever get this again since I prefer the other chicken dishes above were more juicy. We didn't do any bar service, and the waitress did her expected job of making sure we had filled glasses and checking if the food was good. Nothing stand outs to complain or compliment. We found a long room with over 70 seats set up at tables for four that looked combine-able, about 20 seats at the bar and at 2-seat hightops, both rooms with a wall of windows. The band set up in the bar window, but sit where you like, we found that we could hear the band everywhere! There's also a small enclosed outdoor patio with about 30 more seats at umbrellaed tables. The Jim Atkinson band is a foursome of Boston-area musicians that has been cranking out great blues, rock, & roots since 2017.
