Knew Brad from a few years ago. Really nice guy. I had an emergency, car making metal on metal sound (my brakes) he took my car in. Brad is a nice guy who will do what he can to make sure you are safe on the road! Brakes feel brand new and thankful for his help :) read more

Tried working on my jeep but only got half way through replacing front ball joints. The guy in charge was very responsive and willing to work with me and had it done quickly and for a great price! read more

I took my old car to Brad this week for a general check up & he did a great job. He spent the time to explain what should be done & why, in terms that even I could understand (& he doesn't talk down to women!). I'm not surprised to see all of the positive reviews here, since that was my experience too. I'm very pleased to find such a competent, reliable mechanic close to home. read more

I've taken my car to Brad several times and always leave satisfied. Recently my Mini Cooper failed its smog test at a star station several times because the 02 sensor wouldn't reset no matter how many miles I drove it. I didn't want to take it to the dealership because I had a bad experience with them last time I went there (plus they charge a fortune), and Brad figured out the problem and fixed it within a couple hours. I also took my Mini to Brad when the engine light was on. Turned out my car needed a lot of work and he did it all in one day on a Saturday. I find him completely trustworthy. read more

Brad ia awesome and extremely honest. I was quoted $1,000 from the Toyota dealer to replace a broken passenger mirror. Brad did it for less than half! read more

Good people. Fair pricing. Honest assessment and quote, and helpful in finding unique parts for my 35 year old Ford.

Always does a quality job. He's honest and does the job correctly the first time. That alone is worth the long drive to seek his service.

Fast and efficient service as well as great customer service! Thank you for taking care of us!

What a solid business. Brad has worked on my vehicle 3 times now and made all the repairs I needed. He gets repairs done extremely fast. Always knowledgeable and efficient. He is my go to mechanic. read more

Great service from Brads. I have a 30 yr old car and found parts for it and had the skills to work on the oldie. They are very clean as well. Great experience read more

I found "my mechanic". Brad is the best. Vast knowledge of many types of cars and fair prices. I will take all my vehicles to him.

Question for you: If you called your mechanic while he was away for Christmas - New Year break, leaving no message, would he go through his caller ID to call you back as soon as the shop is reopened for the New Year to offer you the first available appointment? That's what Brad does because that's the kind of person he is. Look no further for a great mechanic who is also a great human being. read more

Brad is the best!!! I've been working with him for years, and there is no end to his expertise with any and all types of cars. Highly recommend. read more

Had a great experience here. I called Brads Auto Care after a horrible experience at Capitol Ford. Brad himself answered and helped me with my concerns. Brad was done sooner than expected, saved me money and my car is a month out and still running great. Thank you Brad! read more

Undoubtedly the most knowledgeable, honest and reliable Saab mechanic in the Bay Area!!!

Once again, Brad to the rescue. Not only did Brad save me 50% of what Motorpool Automotive was going to charge me. ( not going to review Motorpool because the manager is very sarcastic and I'm not going to waste my energy ) I went to Motorpool because Brad was closed. Husaband being inpatient and for convience (location by my husband's work) we learned a very hard lesson. Next time we will WAIT until Brad opens and will NEVER seek any place else for convience! Like my other reviews I will repeat this agian, He is VERY honest, explains what needs to be done and does what he says he going to do. Most importanlty he gets the the work done top-notch!! Excellent multi tasker with a very high degree of calmess which enables him to get his work done in a timely fasihion. If he forsees a problem which I have witnessed he will go above and beyond to get the job done with little impact to his customers. I have been going to Brad with all our vehicles, all my kids and grandkids now take their vehicles to Brad. I learned a hard lesson , my advice is dont make the same mistake I did , Brad will not fail you he never has me or anybody I have recommended going there. Now I just have to pray that he doesn't retire. Again Brad, thank you so much you truly are a GEM to our community read more

Had a great experience with Brads auto care. He was able to squeeze me in the same day I called. Him and his team worked quickly to change my breaks as well as my oil change. I felt very comfortable with him repairing my car and ensuring it was all done correctly! read more

Brought in my wife's car with a number of problem: broken AC, broken fan, leaking axle, leaking tire. They had everything fixed in less than 24 hours, great service, very friendly, fair price. read more

// , The shop may not look like much, but Brad and his crew are fast and thorough. Repairs from here are worth the relatively high price, because I think we can all agree that it's better to get an expensive repair that works than to become a "repeat customer" with multiple failed repairs and "tune-ups" from shops that don't manage to do it right. Their engineers even made a brake line for one of my cars that was unavailable in parts stores. They understand vehicles and engines from the ground up. Definitely a high-end shop, worthy of the vehicles that come through their gates. They even do smog checks. read more

My check engine light went on so I stopped at O'Reillys to have them diagnose it. Their machine wasn't working and they told me to go to Brad's. When I drove up, he made a comment to his workers in Vietnamese and they started laughing. If I were to guess it would be something about a helpless white girl to fix. He did up being super funny! He diagnosed my car for $45, cleared the check engine light and sent me on my way. His electronic reader said it was the rocker arm actuator. But on the way home my car kicked back 5 times so I pulled to the side of the road and called for a tow truck. This is super embarrassing to write what the problem was, as determined by my auto technician in Berkeley. It was that I had run out of oil. Oops. My mechanic said I should be putting oil in my car every third time I fill it up. Or at least check to see if it needs oil. Luckily I pulled over and didn't try to make my way back home. read more

We always take our cars to Brad. He provides great service and honest pricing. Most of all, he will not try to push unnecessary service on you. Highly recommend. read more

Brad's is simply the best. Honest and straightforward estimates. They perform the work on time and I have always been a happy customer as a result of their work. read more

Fast, honest and reliable. I am always satisfied with the customer service at Brad's.

Had a problem with faulty cylinder firing recently. He took in my van, and fixed it pretty quickly! Of course it depends on the issue of the car of course. One could make a case that his prices are high, but you'll still get a repaired car, and that's all that matters for me! read more

The guys quickly and professionally diagnosed the car. I am satisfied with the service and the information provided.

I've been going to Brad for quite a few years. The repairs are done quickly and priced reasonably. He's even repairs a tire for me and he doesn't even do tires. Excellent neighborhood repair shop with an honest owner. read more

These guys are wonderful - they're good, fast, and honest. On more than one occasion, they've told me that my repair was minor and that I'd save money by picking up the replacement part at an auto parts store. Despite the many 5 star ratings, they always seem to be able to fit you in. Highly reccomello read more

Took my car in Saturday because of a coolant leak and I thought it was good to go according to brad. So I drove home which was 10 mins away parked it and didn't touch it for the day. The next morning on Sunday the car wouldn't turn on at all. Don't bother coming here you will get overcharged and most likely they will mess up your car so they can have you back. I called plenty of times and left messages and still nothing. This is unacceptable and will be taking further action! If i could give no stars I would! read more

I just had my Honda Accord serviced by Brad's Auto Care. These guys are friendly, fair, and fast. I showed up here with no appointment, and my car was done in about 2 hours. I had a Oil Change, and a engine cooling fan switch replaced. I just went to O'Reilly's brought the part in and handed it to them, and WAH-LAH! my car was all done. And was reasonably price. They don't try to rip you off at all, they are really nice people. I highly recommend them. I'll be a returning customer from now on. read more

Brad runs an efficient, honest, and helpful local business! What's not to love? I highly recommend using your purchasing dollars to support this business vs big box stores who are not as reputable or honest about how they work. read more

Brad has taken care of our family's cars for about 8 years now. We've always been very happy with is service and honesty. He's efficient and quick, too. I needed new brakes, rotors, and a CV axle assembly. He diagnosed and did all the work within a few hours but, charged me half of what I had expected in labor fees. You can tell that he takes pride in his work and word. read more

I go to Brads because there's no BS upsale on the job that he has on his hands. I like that I can pick his brain on what he thinks is necessary and what can wait and how long, very honest and open. Prices are very reasonable as well. If you come don't forget to tell them you came because Pedro sent you! read more

Brad has been servicing my family's cars when he was working at Valero on Lincoln. Fortunately, he opened his own shop this past year right on Lincoln and I have continued to use him as my primary mechanic. He does everything from smog to timing belts, breaks, pumps, etc. He has always been friendly and reliable, and he gets the job done as quickly as possible. Most of all, there have been many times when he could have inflated his costs and done unnecessary repairs, but he has always been honest and upfront about what was wrong with my vehicles, and he is cost conscious----You will not go wrong with him. read more

Knowledgable, reliable & affordable. Brad does great work & provides great customer service.
