Health is first priority - staying alive is important to me. -The local attorney negotiated an absolutely horrible proposed outcome, repeatedly insisting it was the best I'd ever get. -At the initial appearance, when I mentioned a major mistake the initial attorney made, he told me "Well I didn't memorize the whole police report." That mistake cost me months of my life, and caused many problems. -My back was against the wall. The proposed resolution was horrific, putting my life at risk quite literally, if you understood the ramifications. Enter Lauren Wegener (cue Superhero music). I called Bradley Johnson Attorneys, and learned they could represent me remotely. They guided me through switching from my previous attorney. The previous attorney did not deliver after being paid fully, so I really had to take a gamble now. All I had to go on were reviews. Bradley Johnson attorneys and Lauren's reviews specifically were absolutely glowing. But there's pressure and uncertainty wondering if you're making the right decision. I had just gone through the whole process with another attorney who repeatedly insisted he was getting me the best deal possible. I would like to start off with the fact that I got in a situation that I was facing a whole lot of trouble serious trouble and I really did not know what to do and I needed some serious help. I asked for guidance, and I made a phone call and Lauren pick up the call and the minute I spoke with her I knew that I just found the right person everything told me that this lady is an extraordinarily strong one and I was led to giving her a call. At the beginning of all this I was very distraught, and Lauren was very compassionate, but she never gave me false hope on anything, and she gave me nothing but hard love never trying to patty cake anything but always when I was incredibly stressed and down, she asked me to trust her, and she would take care of me. Lauren never gave up; the first victory was something that I thought would never happen and she won the DOL Case which blew me away. She asked me to do a lot of things and told me to follow up and follow through and I did. There were times that she would push out the dates ask the court for a continuance, and I was getting frustrated because it was taking a long time, but I continued to trust in her. Near the end of this she talked to me about an agreement, and I said OK if that is what you think is best and that day of court without me knowing she asked for another continuance I was confused but I had nothing left but to trust and believe in her. The day before my final court date I was ready to accept my fate and if anybody understands the fourth quarter the last minute the 3 point Shot to win the game I was completely blown away that Lauren did not stop did not concede she fought for me to the very last second she told me that she now negotiated a deal they could not fight, she won the game this woman is unbelievable and very strong, very reliable and I would trust her with anything. I cannot express how disappointed I am with the services provided by my DUI lawyer, Dougal Neralich. From start to finish, my experience with him was a complete nightmare. First and foremost, he did not follow through with his job responsibilities in any way, shape, or form. I hired him to represent me during a crucial time in my life and he failed me miserably. 1. Lack of Communication: Throughout the entire process, my lawyer rarely communicated with me. It felt like I had to chase him down just to get an update on my case. Throughout the legal proceedings, Mr. Neralich often ignored my calls and emails, leaving me in the dark about the progress of my case. When I did manage to reach him, his responses were vague, evasive, and lacked substance. It seemed as though he had no interest in keeping me informed or addressing my concerns. 2. Ineffective Representation: When it came to the courtroom, my lawyer's attendance & performance was close to nothing. I had roughly seven court hearings and he attended maybe 3. The remaining hearings were sourced out to another lawyer within the firm and he didn't even have the audacity to inform me up front that he wouldn't be in attendance. When he did show up he seemed less than prepared. I even resorted to calling other law firms for advice on what to do with my case. 3. Lack of Empathy: Throughout this challenging ordeal, I expected Mr. Neralich to show some level of empathy and understanding. Instead, he appeared indifferent to my concerns and failed to negotiate effectively with the prosecution, settling for a plea deal that was clearly unfavorable to me. It was as if he was more interested in expediting the case rather than fighting for my rights and interests. Overall, my experience with this DUI lawyer was beyond disappointing. I messed up big time, and I was frantically looking for a lawyer to help lessen the damage a DUI conviction would have on my career as a physician. It was a deadly mistake, a result of a combination of depression and personal hardships during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. And because of this arrest and subsequent charge, I was rejected from the residency program of my dreams. I have mostly positive remarks regarding my experience with BJ Attorneys. First and foremost I have to comment on how prompt of a response I received from Lauren Wegener, who ultimately was the attorney who represented me throughout my trial process. I was arrested in the early hours of a Saturday morning. Once I got home, slept and then processed what had happened and decided to call a number from a really catchy tune I've heard over the years. ON A SUNDAY, She responded within only a few hours of my initial phone call and we were able to set up a meeting within the next couple of days. With myself working full time and being a full-time student, this was so unbelievably valuable and appreciated! Lauren was amazing to work with, she is very empathetic and down to earth. I am extremely happy with the service provided by Chloe in my legal matter. She was very patient in understanding the situation when I hired her. Hello...to whom it may concern in need of a fantastic attorney/team. I received a 3rd DWI and was absolutely stressed about what my future held! No one informed me about Chloe, I located her on the internet and from the 1st time we spoke she told me don't worry and I was just thinking that's easy for you to say, but she was absolutely right. I firmly believe that she helped me the way my previous attorneys wouldn't have! We meet by phone because it was during the pandemic, everytime we spoke she put my mind at ease. I hesitated to write this review for quite some time (it is a public forum and all), but I feel like the word needs to be spread: I used this firm and they are fantasic! About a year ago I made the mistake of driving after I had been drinking. I didn't know where to turn, so I got on the internet and scheduled meetings with a few attorneys. As soon as I met Lauren and the staff, I knew this was the right fit. Most attorneys were gruff, and treated me like I was taking up time. From these guys I got caring and compassion. Even better, I was able to afford a lawyer here. Almost all the other attorneys wanted most, if not all, of the retainer up front. I have a job and work hard, but unfortunately I don't keep an attorney fund laying around...I, like most people, would never expect this to happen! I was able to put a little bit down, and pay every month after that. I couldn't have hired private defense any other way. It goes without saying that I got a GREAT result. Better than I could have imagined. Pretty soon I'll be clear of this, with nothing on my record. Lauren handled herself admirably in the courtroom, and an associate of hers who stood in for one of my simpler appearances was fantastic. Knew about my case and didn't miss a beat. I recently ran into some trouble with the law and was in need of a good criminal law attorney. After asking a few friends about who to go to, I was referred to Bradley Johnson. Lauren Gotchy represented me and I can't say enough about how helpful she was. Not only did she get my charges reduced to a glorified slap on the wrist, but she was attentive, approachable and extremely supportive throughout the process. Every time I had a question, either she or her caseworker responded via phone or email in an extremely quick manner. Even with questions not involved specifically with the case, they were always available with tips and advice to help me through the process. A little background on the case: I was set up in a police sting operation. I have talked to four other people who were busted in the same sting. None of the four (who all had different lawyers) got a deal anywhere close to the deal Lauren was able to get for me. What could have been a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison was reduced to two months of work release. To put it in perspective, there are people in work release with DUI's that have to serve longer than two months. The week I hired Lauren, Brad took the time to meet with me as well. I would also give no stars if it were possible. I was rear ending back in 2004?? My car was tossed across an intersection and I was hurt bad and lost my job over it. I chose Bradley Johnson because his Yellow Pages ad in the phone book showed his "bashed Mercedes" caused by a drunk driver. This was his ad. I met with a Paralegal to "sell" me but then I met Bradley soon after and I wasn't impressed. I felt uncomfortable with him and this was back when he had braces on his teeth. That was the last time I ever saw Bradley himself, the rest of the case was handled by a paralegal but I can't say she did the best job. No different than any other Atty. At present day, Bradley Johnson's Ad's scream 1-800-DUI-AWAY! It's a catch phrase much like his wrecked Mercedes Ad from back in the day. In my opinion, Bradley Johnson isn't much better than BETTER CALL SAUL from Breaking Bad. A true slime ball that cares more about advertising for his gain then he ever will about his clients. He flip flops for money! I wonder if public records search can reveal if he actually was rear ended in his Mercedes or if he just grabbed the pic of a wrecked car from the internet. He's all about advertising and I'd avoid his legal services. I have a direct question for Bradley Johnson himself......... Are you going to advertise for losses caused by drunk drivers or did you find that there's more money defending drunk drivers with your advertisements? First off let me start by saying this was the most stressful situation in my life, I had a situation which required legal help as navigating the legal system can be a daunting and at times a nearly impossible situation, especially when your freedom, job and driving privilege is on the line. Faced with these very real possibilities I began searching for legal council, there were quite a few less costly options but when compared against the possible legal fees and fines associates with the charges it was a no brainer, not only did Chloe navigate the system for me, she was able to put my mind at ease, which quite honestly was worth the costs in itself. I am reading all of these different reviews and I am utterly amazed. Our family had a completely different experience than all of the reviews posted on Yelp. Our family had a couple traffic issues to resolve and we hired Chloe Anderson. She made herself available immediately. We met the following day and she answered all of our questions and concerns. They were accommodating with the retaining and billing and I have never felt pressured to pay like some firms I know. Chloe always walked us through the various hearings and court requirements. We knew that she was going on maternity leave, but she still responded to my e-mails and voice messages. There were a couple of times when associates arrived in her place for hearings, but she would communicate that to us. Both associates I met were very knowledgeable about the hearing and ensured all concerns were discussed or followed up on. I was never left in the dark as the matters progressed.
