When I was in my second car accident in 2012, I knew I needed to find somebody I trusted to help me, especially given the fact that beyond a previous MVA, I also had been recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and immune mediated angioedema. I reached out to the attorney who handled my first MVA to see who he recommended as I had since moved, and while the fancy Hi-rise overlooking Puget Sound was impressive, there was a sterility about the experience that left me feeling like I was just a number. The client field an appeal and won - the felony conviction was vacated. The attorney who took the case pro bono was sued by the client and now has a black mark on his legal record.
