I had a problem with a test taken there.. the test administrator decided to follow her own opinions instead of following the actual rules of what the test states. Cassy and I went back-and-forth for a while and she said some rude things and I really do not appreciate and clearly stated that her license and opinion matter more than what the test said or what the test instructions say. Which I do understand and I commend her for trying to follow the roles best that she can, but I don't think that should give you the right to decide when something is positive or negative when the manufacturers of the test clearly say that a faint line is negative. All of that aside I was very very easily able to get in contact with higher management very quickly, which was very surprising. Kim, the woman who was finally able to resolve the issue was absolutely fantastic., she did not feed around the bush. She apologized, admitted the mistake and got the issue resolved. When I came back up here to get the form showing that my test was negative there was a little bit more confusion and I was working with Serena this time, she was also extremely polite and courteous was not snappy or had any sort of attitude, and she helped me resolve the issue in a timely manner which I really appreciated it. I would definitely recommend People to visit this location. If they are needing to take a test, I would just ask for it to not be administered by Cassidy.

I recently moved to Texas after being with the same doctor in Florida for seven years. I had all of my medical records transferred, including my history with anxiety, panic disorder, depression, and severe sleep issues. Over the past year, I have gone through significant life events, including the loss of both parents and a divorce, making consistent and reliable care especially important. From the beginning, communication with this office has been difficult. I have called numerous times seeking assistance and often felt dismissed. When I asked if the doctor could return my call, I was told she "doesn't usually call patients back," which was discouraging given my situation. There have also been ongoing issues with my medications. Initially, I was only prescribed my antidepressant despite providing my full medical history. At one point, I lost my antidepressant and contacted the office to request a refill in order to avoid withdrawal symptoms. I was told by staff that Lexapro is a controlled substance and could not be refilled, which is untrue. Overall, the level of support and clarity provided has been inconsistent. I understand that policies and regulations exist, and I am willing to follow appropriate steps. However, the lack of communication and professionalism has made it difficult to receive proper care. I will be seeking care elsewhere. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in communication, staff training, and patient support--especially for those managing serious mental health conditions.

So just to get in I agreed to the Longview office for the first time since it was required. I finally had an appointment that took over a month to make because I had to get the paperwork and over the phone nonsense finished before the appointment could be made. There were multiple text messages and emails confirming the made appointment. Then as I'm on my way to the appointment (which I had to take off work to do!) the office calls me and says the provider I would be seeing isn't going to be in today! They called less than an hour from the time of the appointment to call and reschedule! I asked if there was anyone else I could see since I had to take off work to do this and all they said was no. There was no reason as to why the provider wasn't going to be there so for all I know they could have made me a useless appointment during the vacation time of this provider! I won't be going back since there are plenty of other places to choose from. Dr Gatson is the sweetest, most compassionate and knowledgeable physician I have ever used, and she…read morehas been my primary physician for over a decade. I can't ever remember a time when she was out of the office, even though it is expected on occasion as she is human. What I like most about Dr Gatson is how she sits down and truly listens, even though she may be typing on her laptop during our conversation. I understand that. Otherwise, she may forget some of the details of our conversation. She is a great diagnostician, but never fails to refer you out to a specialist if necessary. The medications she has prescribed to me seem on point. I've never had ANY complaints against this physician. EVER. I wouldn't hesitate to refer any of my family and friends to Dr Gatson. As far as I am concerned, she ranks as one of the very best. Oh... I almost forgot to add... this may be important to those who only have a limited time to see the doctor. You might have somewhat of a long wait to get called back to an exam room. And then another wait in the exam room. This wait does not bother me, as I know she is only spending one on one time with her other patients and to me, that is what it's all about.
