I thought they would be sending someone over the start the job the very next week. After trying to follow up with Johnny via email on 8/2 & 8/4 I was getting a bit upset. I then emailed him and Raymond Fouladian (the tech who came out to give me the quote) again on 8/11 and finally received a response saying, "We're sorry, we have a big project out in San Bernardino we might have time next week." I then tried emailing them again on 9/14 and then again on 10/11 & 10/19. I almost completely forgot about the work that was needed to be done until we had a recent need to view the security camera playback. I then called Johnny's direct line on 1/18/17 and his phone was answered by a sweet elderly lady explaining how she was going to get to the bottom of this and call me back. She called me back later that same day as she promised, saying that they are not able to help me with our problem. I got the feeling that they thought our job was too small for them to handle. However, there is no excuse for the lack of communication between them and myself. I should have been told this months ago. Incredibly unprofessional!! I found another security camera company right after I got off the phone with High-Tech and within an hour I had my appt scheduled for the very next day (today). Now my DVR is completely set up and running correctly for my entire building no thanks to High-Tech :{

Mike Tech Services: Exceptional from Day One…read more Mike Tech Services has been A1 since day one for my wife's and my home. I don't even know where to begin, but let me start by saying this: if you're considering home automation or technology for your home or business, look no further than Mike Tech Services. When my wife and I purchased our brand-new home back in September--a home that took two years to build--I learned that the previous builder had hired Mike Tech Services. However, like many developers, they didn't fully maximize the home's capabilities and features, leaving us to fill in the gaps. Immediately after closing, I reached out to Mike Tech Services. Mike himself arrived 30 minutes early to our appointment and went over the entire house with me. I explained that my wife and I were spending the next few months redesigning and upgrading the aesthetics of both the interior and exterior of the home. However, I emphasized that security, technology, comfort, and quality of living were our top priorities. During that first visit, Mike reviewed what had been done by the builder and what hadn't, took notes, and offered recommendations. What stood out most to me was his honesty--he told us to complete all the aesthetic work first and assured us his team would return when we were ready to move in or before the furniture was delivered. I'm big on technology, and my wife trusts my judgment when it comes to these decisions. Our home was configured with a Control4 system, and Mike Tech Services is a "Pinnacle Dealer" for Control4--a fact that reassured me I had the right person for the job. Over the next four months, as we worked on the house with our developer to bring our vision to life, I stayed in constant communication with Mike, providing updates. Throughout that time, Mike and his team worked on smaller projects, like running electrical for our motorized gates. Every time Mike gave me a date and time, he and his crew showed up promptly and worked quickly, efficiently, and professionally. They were clean, organized, and respectful of our home. By Christmas Eve, we were ready for the full integration of our home automation system. Mike and his team started that day, and I was blown away by their dedication, loyalty, attention to detail, and the quality of their work. They were thorough in explaining everything to my wife and me. My wife, who usually leaves the tech decisions to me, was so impressed she said, "This is so easy to use--I love everything we're doing!" In just four days, our home was transformed into a fully automated, state-of-the-art living space. The Control4 system now powers our home's interior and exterior sound system, additional security cameras, motorized custom shades (designed and manufactured in-house), and more. Mike's team also professionally installed and mounted all our TVs and monitors, ensuring everything looked and functioned perfectly. Even our interior designer couldn't stop raving about the motorized shades and blinds, calling them "absolute perfection." I told Mike, "How is everyone not using you for all of your services and blinds?" Their turnaround time, delivery, and work ethic are truly unmatched. What I appreciated most about Mike was his honesty and transparency. When I asked about certain features or products, he never tried to upsell me. Instead, he gave thoughtful advice like, "You don't need that," or "Don't waste your money." This level of trust and integrity is rare, and it made me even more confident in our decision to work with him. By the end of the project, my wife summed it up best: "Of everyone who has worked on our home, Mike Tech Services has been the absolute best to deal and work with." Mike and his team treated our home like their own, taking extra care to protect it during their work. Their communication, expertise, and professionalism made a lasting impression on us. In less than a week, they maximized our home's potential, enhancing our security, comfort, and overall quality of living. For anyone in the LA area considering home automation or technology services--whether you're building a new home, renovating, or upgrading--Mike Tech Services is the only choice. I've already recommended them to a few close friends, and I can't say enough about their exceptional work. Thank you, Mike and the entire team at Mike Tech Services, for making our dream home even better. Your dedication, craftsmanship, and care are truly one of a kind.

We got broken into in May and I called four companies. Three tried to quote me cameras over the…read morephone. HTS said they'd need to come walk the property first. That's all we hired them for at the start, just to tell us where we were exposed. The guy spent most of the visit on our internet, which I thought was odd until he showed me the spots in the house where it just dies. We had cameras and a recorder left by the previous owners and he knew that equipment cold, told me exactly what it could and couldn't do without looking anything up. His point was that cameras on bad internet are expensive decorations. Hard to argue with that. What we got back was a real write-up. Where someone would come in, what was urgent, what could wait. He talked us out of two things I'd already decided I wanted, which is not what I expected from the guy who'd be sending the invoice. The part that mattered most to me: he pointed out that most of what we'd been looking at would tell us we'd been robbed, but wouldn't stop it. So the plan was built around making the house look like a bad idea from the sidewalk. Floodlights on the dark side of the property, cameras somebody can actually see, and a video intercom at both gates so nobody gets past the driveway without us looking at them first. Our neighbor's dog walker told us it reads completely differently from the street now. We'd been leaning toward one of the big cloud systems but didn't want our footage sitting on someone else's servers. They found us a setup that stays in the house and is still monitored around the clock. They're licensed for the alarm side too, which a couple of the companies I called weren't. I didn't know that was something to check. We hired them for the whole job off that report. New internet equipment throughout, cameras in the spots we'd been blind, better lighting, the gates. Same crew every day, all their own people, nobody subcontracted. Dany sat with my wife on the app until she actually had it. I've called multiple times, and every time a lovely lady & concierge client service answers my question no matter what, not just a ticket number. That's most of why I'm writing this.
