Dr. Adler is patient, kind, giving, trustworthy, and intelligent--he explains the purpose of the treatment and how the process will unfold so that you can experience the quickest relief from symptoms. During my first office visit, I cried tears of relief because he gave me HOPE--he talked about wanting to provide me with quality of life. And he really meant it. The biggest issue is that Dr Garrin was using a company that he had never used and didn't know how to perform the surgery. As a result, my implants werent done correctly. I woke up in the middle of my surgery. This wouldn't have happened if I were being monitored by a Registered Nurse with ACLS and conscious sedation training. I can't state absolutely that the person who was required to monitor me wasn't an RN or ACLS-certified. Because I never got an answer from her. When I woke up in the middle of my surgery, there were 2 "other people" in the room during the surgery. These "other people" were reps from the "new company". They were teaching Dr. Garrin how to perform the procedure. I heard most of their conversations. I was never informed that this was new, nor was I advised that anyone else would be in the room with me. Not surprisingly, when I woke up, the "other people" were nowhere to be found! If I hadn't woken up DURING the procedure, I would never known that this was Dr. Garrin's first time doing this procedure and he was being trained, nor would I have known that there were 2 other people involved in my surgery. This is absolutely not in accordance with informed consent. The prosthdontist had to redo all the abutments. Yet they took me to small claims court for not paying them 1200$. As many other people commented, the judge knew his representatives well-sounds pretty suspicious! The judge wasnt interested in the fact that my surgery wasn't done properly; all he saw was an outstanding balance Both my children and I had used him in the past without issue (aside from the nasty lady at the front desk). An I had to be the one to blame, she said my past drug use was the issue, if that was true why did her medical assistant get the IV in on her first attempt.
